I received a Gift Card for my graduation and I instantly began to look for flights and hotels, the flight were more expensive on this website than on the actual airlines websites, but the hotels were actually good! I noticed just a few euros difference from my favorite booking app. I decided to book a room and got some problems with my gift card (card deactivated or insufficient funds), I immediately asked the customer service and they resolved my issue in less than a day with just a message! They are actually great and I can't wait to travel to a new destination thanks to TripGift!

Very good service, with quick and effective resolution for hotel booking.

When comparing a room, prices for the same room in the same hotel at the same time are significantly higher , I’m comparing one at the moment and the room is $200 more if using tripgift . I feel like they are really ripping people off . Very disappointing.

If I could give zero stars I would. This also includes travel gift as well as my experience across both companies together was just awful. I was gifted some vouchers which was awesome but my goodness trying to book was a nightmare as I was doing long haul. The customer service level and lack of helpful assistance was terrible. They then didn’t include checked baggage (it was a long haul flight of nearly two days shockingly I really needed more than hand luggage) this was their mistake at the time of booking. When raised I was dismissed and treated very coldly. It made the whole booking experience as well as my actual journey very stressful, unnecessarily so. I would not recommend and would encourage anyone not to use this company.

TripGift took care of everything from the reservation at the Bellagio to insuring I received my tickets to see the Eagles at the Sphere in Las Vegas. They went above and beyond when the venue changed their ticket process. I received an additional email with secure delivery of them. I've never heard of TripGift before this amazing experience but I'll never forget them. Again, thank you!

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. I bought this gift card for my niece, but she has not been able to use it. I purchased the gift card online, and the currency keeps changing to a different one. Every time we try to change it, it unexpectedly switches to another currency.
I have tried reaching out to someone at TripGift multiple times regarding this issue and have gotten nowhere. There were times when I was on hold for two hours in a “chat,” thinking I would speak to someone, only to be told by a bot that no agents were available. This company should close down and should be illegal. Now I have wasted money on a gift card that we can’t use and nor get the money back for.

What a joke.
The price of the flight tickets shown on tripgift web are waaayy above the price on the airline's web itself or other webistes. Hence, the final price after using the voucher is still more expensive than others.

I redeemed a gift card expecting to use it for flights, only to discover that prices on their platform are significantly higher than on the airline’s official website. In my case, the difference was almost equal to the value of the gift card itself, which makes the voucher essentially USELESS.
If you value transparency and your money, I strongly recommend booking directly with airlines or hotels instead of using TripGift. The concept sounds good, but in practice, the gift card offers no real benefit, and you WILL LOSE your money, and they will have it.

Total scam. Do not buy this gift card.
Flights to cork from Bristol return is £90. They are quoting £266!!! I have a £100 gift from my husband. Can't even use it as would be out of money. How are these cards allowed and not being investigated. The site is misleading.. you have to book through them only and cannot use the voucher direct with an airline. Complete scam. Do not use!

I received a TripGift voucher through a corporate benefits program and attempted to use it for a time-sensitive flight booking.
Although the gift card credit was successfully applied to the basket, the balance payment repeatedly failed. This happened across multiple cards, issuers, devices, and browsers, including with live support present. During the chat, different explanations were given in real time (insufficient funds, authentication issues, address mismatch, etc.), and a TripGift agent stated they had to intervene on the backend to restore the voucher balance.
Despite extensive good-faith efforts, the issue could not be resolved during the booking window, and we were forced to book our flights elsewhere. TripGift later confirmed the voucher was reverted and remains “valid,” but declined to offer any refund or exception, advising only to keep retrying or contact the bank.
The core issue is not voucher validity, but that it could not be used when it was needed. Support ultimately refused to acknowledge this or provide a resolution.
I would strongly caution anyone relying on TripGift vouchers for time-sensitive travel.
Adding the reply to the below:
Thank you for the response, however this does not address the issue raised in my review.
The problem was not a generic card decline. The voucher credit applied successfully, and the balance payment failed repeatedly across multiple cards, banks, devices, and browsers, including while working live with TripGift support. During that session, multiple and conflicting root causes were provided, and a TripGift agent confirmed they had to intervene on the backend to restore the voucher balance.
Both issuing banks confirmed at the time that no authorization attempts were visible to them, which contradicts the explanation that this was purely a bank-side issue. By the time the matter could be revisited, the time-sensitive booking window had passed and we were forced to book elsewhere.
Referring customers back to generic FAQ articles does not resolve the core issue: the voucher could not be used when it was needed, despite extensive good-faith attempts and direct TripGift involvement.
This reply reinforces the concern raised — that responsibility is deflected rather than the situation being acknowledged or resolved.

Unfortunately our booked Hotel is 300 Euro more expansive than on other booking Portals. Therefore, we cannot recommend tripfgift.

Reply from TripGift
I can only describe this as a scam . I got a 300 euro voucher as a gift. To book a short haul flight using the voucher would actually cost me more than double than to just book directly through the airline. So basically the goodwill of purchasing as a gift is wasted and they paid this company 300 for nothing.

NEVER use this website or this company. This is a scam. Flight prices are 3 times higher than on official airline websites.
Their typical reply mentions “unique flexibility” - access to multiple competitors and global currency options. Pardon me, but what exactly is unique here? Paying 3 times more for the same flight? If “flexibility” means massively overpaying, then it has no real value.
In reality, after purchasing a ticket through their platform and using a certificate, I still had to pay 2 times more than the price on the official airline website. On top of that, the website is not user-friendly, extremely slow, and looks like it was designed 20 years ago.
A so-called unique offer that consistently costs customers more is not a benefit. Companies like this should not exist and should be shut down. I am happy to use my influence in this case and share this experience publicly so others are not misled. These practices appear to be legally protected by complex terms and conditions, but where is the customer value? Pricing must reflect real value. Based on all customer reviews, people simply do not see any value in this service.
