My husband and I wanted a bespoke holiday but without being part of a large organised tour. Also, we wanted to avoid getting on a plane.
Suzie from the outset totally hit the brief. It was 10 days all by train from Bournemouth via Eurostar to Paris. Then onto Montreux staying 2 nights, to enjoy the most amazing views of the lake and mountains. Then, onto Wengan via the very memorable Golden Pass train. The scenery surpassed our expectations and the weather enabled us to enjoy some amazing walks. Onward then to Lucerne, which delivered once again with a pre arranged day (by Suzie) on Mount Pilatus via the cog railway and decending by cable car. Even stopped half way down for a toboggan ride! Are final destination was 2 nights in Strasbourg. Not having any preconceived idea of this city we we blown away by the architecture and the history. This was complimented by a wonderful prearranged tour of the local Alsace region and also a boat trip.
All the hotels were of a very high standard with very helpful and friendly staff. Trains all ran like clockwork making the whole experience one we will never forget and we'll definately be using Tripmeup again. Thank you Suzie.

Amazing and well organised trip by Suzie. Everything went smoothly and Suzie was available for consultation throughout the holiday. We had a zoom call with Suzie before the trip and she explained everything clearly. Hotels were superb and near train stations. They were mainly boutique hotels with one large hotel in Montreux. Hotel staff were helpful and welcoming. Breakfasts were lovely in every hotel. All train travel was first class and the Golden Pass train journey was so memorable with amazing scenery. We highly recommend Trip me Up and we will definitely be using them again. All we had to do was turn up and enjoy our holiday.

We had a fantastic week. Suzie organised the first train departure from our home town to London for Eurostar. Before we left the train tickets had been loaded on an app which was fully explained and very easy to use. We could see all the train journeys for the whole week, times of which we had chosen to suit us. Suzie also provided an itinerary which we could refer to each day with boats trips etc. and any tickets that we needed to print out. The hotels chosen were to our taste, as we like traditional style, not modern, which is what was booked and all in great locations. I can honestly say as a person who is capable of researching and booking my own holiday independently, it was a pleasant change to let someone else handle it and sit back, relax and enjoy with the confidence that Suzie at 'Trip me up' was on hand and with us each step of the way. We had the best time spending 3 nights in Montreux, 2 in Lucerne and 2 in Strasburg. If you are thinking of booking with Trip me up, have no worries or concerns you are in capable hands.

We had beautiful hotels ,first class on all trains ,we were felt very safe,and everything went as scheduled ,payments were affordable and what ever you so desire Suzie was available.

Fabulous holiday. Everything went like clockwork from start to finish and the places we visited, Montreux, Luzern and Strasbourg were superb. Where necessary all the trains were booked and when a booking was not required everything was clearly explained including, on Eurostar, the fact that my wife was gluten and dairy intolerant had been explained so she received the appropriate food. All three hotels were extremely well positioned and very comfortable, the highlight being the room in Montreux which overlooked the lake - what a view. We were also lucky enough to have two boat trips booked for us as well as a visit to the top of Mount Pilatus which were all excellent. All in all a very enjoyable holiday a lot of which must be put down to Suzie's organisation and hard work. Thank you Suzie and we look forward to talking to you again.

Suzie’s organisational skills was amazing, she was meticulous in ensuring that every detail was clear and unambiguous she made it clear that she would be there at the end of the phone if we needed her and she was, we had cause to text her on two occasions, she was quick to respond Nothing was too much trouble I would definitely go through her to arrange a further holiday

I highly recommend trip me up, we have been on 2 holidays so far, which were perfectly organised . All air, train , taxis , hotels and trips were planned for us according to our needs . Suzie was contactable at any time should we need, which was most reassuring. We will certainly be using trip me up for our next holiday.

We wanted a holiday with a difference and came across ‘Trip Me Up’, a travel company led by Suzie. She organises a complete itinerary tailored to the customer’s wishes.
This led us to a wonderful eight day adventure by train, travelling from London to Paris, then on to Montreux, Lucerne and Strasbourg. Suzie took care of everything, including first class seat reservations on the trains guaranteeing spectacular views, excellent hotel accommodation and the best excursions from our venues.
Our holiday was completely stress-free from start to finish. Suzie remained in touch throughout to check that everything was going well. Thanks to her experience and expertise, we both had a truly memorable holiday and would not hesitate to recommend ‘Trip Me Up’ to others, for an experience which will be cherished for many years to come.

This was the most fabulous trip! Suzi explained and organised everything down to the last detail and was in constant contact which was reassuring.

We asked - Susie delivered! What an absolutely fantastic train trip. As it was our wedding anniversary whilst we were away, we did request something special and we were not disappointed, after waking up with views over the lake in montreaux we boarded the the golden pass train and travelled up the mountain and arrived at the fabulous hotel Pilatus kulm and it felt as if we were on top of the world!
All of our travel was first class, and susie talked us through our train pass app, showing us how to “toggle” each day and I have to say it was super easy!
Also fantastic value, as each hotel was amazing!

From start to finish the planning, organisation and support from tripmeup was absolutely outstanding. I can thoroughly recommend the company and we will book with them again.

This is hands-down my best trip! The itinerary was amazing - Paris, Montreaux, Luzern and Strasbourg - all by first class train travel. The hotels were great, especially Eden Palace Hotel in Montreaux and the excursions, which were included, were very interesting, Mount Pilatus being my favourite. We didn't have to lift a finger as everything was well planned by Suzie and team. We were also well supported before and during the trip - we had a WhatsApp meeting a few days before travel where Suzie talked us through the Interrail App and the details of the itinerary and she also set up a WhatsApp group with us so we could reach her, if necessary. As I said, my best travel experience which was all down to the expertise, personalised service and care of Trip Me Up!

We were first time interrailers and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience providing by Susie from Trip Me Up. We had zoom meeting beforehand which explained our journey & trips organised. Every part of our journey was well organised perfectly that we could experience Switzerland and its outstanding beauty by train and staying in its resorts. Our favourite resort was Montreux and definitely worth a return visit to stay longer and explore more. Our next journey/adventure will be through Italy & Switzerland, organised again by Susie, thank you for a wonderful holiday.

As it was our Ruby Wedding anniversary, we wanted to have a holiday to remember, and trip me up certainly delivered. Suzie organised everything perfectly. We travelled first class on the trains & the hotels were amazing. We arrived in Paris. Suzie arranged for us to have a tour around Paris in a Citroën CV. We sipped champagne as we took in the sites. On to Montreux where the views from the hotel balcony were breathtaking! Suzie recommended a visit to Chillion Castle,which was a short bus ride away. Such a beautiful & interesting building. We then took a train through the alps. It was stunningly beautiful. Our next stop was Luzern. Another beautiful town. We had a steam boat ride on the lake which took us to a cog wheel train to the summit of Mount Rigi, then for a mineral bath & massage. Strasbourg was our final destination . The hotel was central, so restaurants, shops & Cathedral were close by. A wine tasting tour in the alcase region ended our visit. Florence, our tour guide took a small group of us through quaint little villages & was very knowledgeable of the local wines. Couldn't resist bringing some back! All in all, the holiday was something we will always remember & treasure. Suzie was always there if we needed her. Definitely worth every penny for relaxing, hassle free holiday. Highly recommended. Suzie organised a bespoke train holiday to France and Switzerland. The train timings were excellent between the beautiful places we visited. The hotels we stayed in were first class. We had to contact Susie twice while we were away and she solved our queries within a few minutes. Would definitely use Suzie again

Suzie was very helpful, and she made sure that our 1week family trip around Switzerland & France over Easter 2025 went smoothly. She was readily available whenever we asked for assistance on certain issues. Thank you.

We have just returned from a train trip to France and Switzerland organised by Suzie Barber from Trip Me Up. The holiday was planned by Suzie and we cannot speak too highly of her. We travelled first class from our local county station, all the way through France and Switzerland. She asked us to download an app which she then added all our train trips (about 17 of them in total!) It worked brilliantly, showing our trips each day, with maps, and our tickets, we do not normally use trains any more than we have to, but the trains in France and Switzerland were all amazing, clean, punctual and the app very easy to use. She organised the five Hotels where we stayed. All very different, all with spectacular views, and all brilliant! Suzie also arranged collections from the stations to the hotels, all worked seamlessly. She also organised various trips in the different locations. We started with a dinner cruise down the Seine on our first evening. What a way to start our holiday! Also boat trips on beautiful lakes, and cable rides high up to the mountains. Another memorable trip a private tour around vineyards (including wine tasting!) and the wonderful Churches in the Alsace. Suzie was on hand at all times to help us in any way needed, and she goes above and beyond anything one would normally expect. She also kept in touch to check everything was going ok. I could go on and on, but suffice to say we had a brilliant holiday, all down to Suzie. Would we go on another train holiday with Trip Me Up? You bet we will….and are already planning our next trip! What a joy not having to drive, park your car, airport hassle and delays. Instead a real adventure, with wonderful views from thr trains (like Alpine meadows and snow covered mountains), staying at first class hotels and a personalised holiday planned for you by Suzie.
