PREPAID HOTEL RESERVATION — UNABLE TO VERIFY WITH HOTEL
I am publicly expressing my serious dissatisfaction with the customer service and reservation process at trivago DEALS.
I prepaid $568.17 for a three-night reservation at the Fairfield Inn & Suites New York Queens/Fresh Meadows, scheduled for October 23–26, 2026.
Despite receiving assurances from trivago DEALS that my reservation is confirmed, the hotel has been unable to locate my booking. I have contacted customer service repeatedly, requesting the actual Marriott confirmation number and direct verification from the hotel.
As of October 22, the day before my scheduled arrival, I have still not received the hotel’s confirmation number or independent confirmation that my accommodations are secured.
This situation is particularly distressing because I am an older traveler with mobility limitations who must make advance transportation and accessibility arrangements.
I believe that when a company accepts payment for hotel accommodations, customers deserve timely, transparent communication and reasonable assurance that their reservations will be honored.
I am requesting immediate confirmation directly from the hotel, equivalent alternative accommodations at no additional expense if my reservation cannot be honored, or a full refund if the promised accommodations cannot be provided.
I hope trivago DEALS management will address this situation promptly and professionally.

Traveling with dogs
I was traveling with my dogs and needed hotel to accomodate with close, quiet parking. Hotel did so with clean, comfortable dog-friendly room right next to safe parking for my others who stayed in car. Strongly recommend, great value
