The trophies were great

Disappointing service, nice trophies.

Disappointing service. I ordered four trophies for a specific tournament and made sure I had time for them to be delivered and even paid for next day delivery to make sure they arrived in time.

I called twice to ask about the order. I was informed by one person that it was sat on the desk ready to go and that someone would be in touch the following day. When I didn't hear I called again. I was told it would be sent the next day and would be in time.

The items were dispatched on 4th June & arrived on 6th June when I had already left for the tournament. As unsatisfactory as this was, I emailed the company expressing my disappointment and have not received a response. I would have hoped at the very least I would have had an apology and a refund for the next day delivery which it clearly wasn't.

In terms of the items themselves they were nice. I liked that there were several different options available which is unusual for field hockey trophies.

It had been my intention to order more for our next tournament in 6 weeks time however the service and aftercare experience has put me off.

I would like to apologise for the disappointment caused by the delivery and communication issues you experienced.

When your order was placed, there was a mutual understanding that the lead time was very tight. In hindsight, we perhaps should have declined the order, but we always try our best to help customers meet important event deadlines where possible. We prioritised your order and dispatched it on 4th June via a next-day service, which should have resulted in delivery on 5th June and in time for your tournament.

Unfortunately, on this occasion, the courier did not meet the delivery commitment and the parcel was delivered on 6th June instead. While we do everything we can to dispatch orders on time, we are reliant on third-party couriers once parcels leave our premises.

I am also sorry that you did not receive a response to your email. This is an exceptionally busy time of year for us, but that is no excuse and it appears your message may have been missed. We sincerely apologise for that oversight.

We would of course be happy to refund the postage charge for the next-day delivery service.

Exceptional company

Great value for money, I rang as I needed the trophies for a particular date abd they hadn't been dispatched. They were very helpful shipping them out on a priority shipment so I had them on time.

Trophy monster saved the day

Trophy monster saved the day, I needed some inserts for my sons football team end of season trophies and trophy monster were there to help, with no hidden costs like some companies who ask for extra just to hold the clubs badge before charging for the inserts as well, these guys did not. The inserts were great quality and finished off the trophies making them look the part with the clubs badge looking great. Timelines were a little long but no complaints the product is quality and worth the wait. Thanks trophy monster.

Maximum production and delivery times for my first order

I ordered 15 rosettes on the morning of 21st May, and was advised it was a 7-10 day production and 2-3 day delivery... I've just had notification that they will be delivered today - 8th June...
The event was last Thursday - so a wasted order

I've just read their reply and they did call me to discuss and then got defensive, spoke over me when i was trying to clarify dates during the phone call. I would happily have removed my review if it wasn't for the approach on the call. I was in a position where i had to end the call as no point if not prepared to discuss in a professional manner.

They have since been in touch via email and offered a refund, which i've declined.. it wasnt about the money... but i appreciate the gesture.
I ordered on a Thursday morning and it was despatched on the Friday 2 weeks later. Taking into account the Bank Holiday and weekends then it was 10 days and 2 hours post order, that i was advised the order had been despatched, so questionable within the time scales - then 3 days for Royal Mail to deliver.
So everything was literally as long as it could be..
A sad experience
Maybe there should be something when you order, that asks if they are needed for a specific date, then they could say it wasn't guaranteed and cover themselves.

Thank you for updating your review, and we are genuinely sorry that the rosette medals were not with you in time for your event.

For clarity, our rosette medals are made to order and the advertised timescale is 7–10 working days for production, followed by delivery. Working days do not include weekends or Bank Holidays. Your order was placed on Thursday 21st May, and due to the Bank Holiday within that period, the order was dispatched on Friday 5th June, within the stated production timescale. Royal Mail then delivered on Monday 8th June, which was also within the delivery estimate.

That said, we completely understand that the order was no longer useful to you by then, and we are sorry for the disappointment caused. No required-by date was provided when the order was placed, so it was processed within our standard advertised timeframe. For time-sensitive events, we always recommend customers contact us before ordering so we can advise whether the date is achievable.

We are also sorry that the phone call did not feel helpful. Our intention was to explain the working-day timescale, not to dismiss your concerns, but we appreciate that the conversation clearly did not come across as we would have wanted.

As a gesture of goodwill, we offered a refund, which you kindly declined. We do appreciate your feedback and will take on board your suggestion about making event-date requirements clearer during the ordering process.
