Unable to return items from Europe to…

Unable to return items from Europe to US. I am aware that I am supposed to pay for the return there is no return label in the package. On your website there is a return address but no phone-number or email to give to the shipping company. Also, the shipment price is either 67 USD with DHL or 193 USD with TNT (UPS do not offer shipment to US at the moment due to the toll changes and that the items might never reach its destination…) meaning I have to pay 33% or more then 100% of the value of the items to have them returned (!) I have tried to write Tropic of C with no answer - there was no email to write regarding returns so I sent it to your ecommerce mail address on November 2nd with no response. Order number 103985. I have written you again and hope you will answer this time. Please inform me how to proceed.

Dont ever buy from this brand

Dont ever buy from this brand , i am waiting for my order since 2 months ago , and i think it will never come , dont waste your money on this branded swimsuit !!!
Be very carefull they dont reply to emails! Dont waste your money.

TOOK MY MONEY AND DISAPPEARED. ABSOLUTE SKAM

I placed an order (#98279) on June 13th. I have received NOTHING no shipment, no update, just a useless tracking link that hasn’t moved for days.

I’ve contacted customer service multiple times—only got one useless automated reply, then total silence. Messaged them on Instagram and they promised to “escalate” it. That was hours ago. Still no response, no refund, no product.

This company is a complete disgrace and should be ashamed. Taking people’s money and ignoring them is the worst kind of fraud. I feel cheated and furious.

If you’re thinking about buying from Tropic of C: DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY. They are dishonest, unprofessional, and don’t care about their customers at all.

I DEMAND my FULL REFUND IMMEDIATELY or I will make sure everyone hears about this nightmare. This is beyond unacceptable.

One star is generous

One star is generous. I’d call this company a straight up online fraud. Bought a belly chain from them for my wife. It was the size of a bracelet. She’s a size zero and this wouldn’t fit around her tiny waist. Customer service is a joke. Avoid these losers. They’ll be out of business in no time. Just scummy scammers.

One star is too much and I’m kicking myself…

One star is too much and I’m kicking myself for not reading these reviews before ordering from Tropic of C. I live in the Caribbean and I saw the company was followed by many celebs and influencers and thought it would be a safe bet, I was wrong. In order to receive goods on our Island we ship them to a freight forwarding service in Miami - once our packages arrive in Miami we submit our commercial invoices and then they ship our goods. It’s simple and always has been until I ordered from Tropic of C. We were not provided with any invoice - just an itemized list and a total. This is never good enough when trying to clear something through customs. I requested a proper commercial invoice, not international, nothing fancy - basically a receipt. Duties and fees are calculated when it reaches our end. Though I’ve never come across this issue with any sort of retailer in the past, I was taken back when I was told they couldn’t provide me with this kind of invoice and too bad. My $332.00 order would’ve ended up in no man’s land. After a not so friendly exchange - it was begrudging and nasty and then me not taking no for an answer…lo and behold I received a botched but submittable receipt. So here’s the thing… I’ve ordered from so many other bikini stores overseas and have NEVER had an issue - I actually just received an order from Asta Resort and Sommer Swim both are 5 star! I’m not sure why TOC decided to run their business in this manner but they’ll never get my business again. Don’t be sucked in by the celebs and influencers who follow them on IG.

It has been a week since I placed my…

It has been a week since I placed my order and it still has not been shipped. I send several emails - one to openboarder (they are responsible for international shipments) and a lady said that she will update me once the package reached their warehouse because it still hasn't. She had absolutely no idea where it will be shipped. I sent another email to customer support at tropic of c and not response. It is such a shame because their swimwear are really great (I have one but ordered it through another online store), but their customer service is horrible, they behave like it is a scam and not a serious store.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. I paid 130$ for express shipping (was supposed to receive the order within 3-5 business days). A month later, still no update on my order.

I placed an international order ten days ago, I sent so many emails with no response, I tried to contact them, I have no idea where is my shipment, I paid more for my shipment to reach sooner and I wish I didn’t. First and last time to order thru them

I might never get a refund

I am also having a horrific time with customer service, they just won't answer! The Swimsuit I ordered was way too small (so the sizing also isn't accurate) so I returned it weeks ago, but I received no confirmation of the return and they are not responding to the customer service emails I've sent. I'm not confident I'll ever receive a refund and their products are not cheap! I strongly reccomend against ordering from them.

Never have i experienced a worst…

Never have i experienced a worst customer service. It’s been more than 3 weeks that I’m waiting for my order, nothing evolved about the process or the delivery and when the « customer services » are answering, it felt like a robot is replying and nothing change … they don’t know where is my order and they don’t answer clearly and currently i am still waiting for my swimwear to arrive (m’y order cost me 400€) I am so so so dissapointed..

Customer service needs imrpovement

Ill be more than happy to write a review. Well i admire Candice and i love her swimwear there is no doubt about it, but never have i experienced a worst customer service. Late responses, not even answering to the questions, (it felt like a robot is replying sometimes) and currently i am still waiting for my swimwear to arrive. I am from the EU and always when i have a chance i shop within the EU of course, but sometimes when there is no other option i choose to shop from the US sites-last time i ordered something from the US i recieved my package in 1 week!! But with tropic of c after 3 weeks my bikini is still somewhere in the US and they keep changing the estimated delivery date every single day! I am so dissapointed..

Their sizing is completely off

Their sizing is completely off. Tried to return and the website said there was an issue with my label and I should contact hello (at) tropicofc (dot) com. I did and it was just radio silent. Horrible customer service and I have no idea who these swimsuits are made for.

Anyone Home?!

I would say they have terrible customer support, but I don't think customer support even exists here. I returned an item over a month ago and have emailed their "support" three times looking for my refund, or even a response. *crickets*
Their auto email says it takes them 24-48 hours to respond, but it's been 610 hours and counting.

Update: I have now emailed 16 times and still have no refund. I've also opened a claim with Paypal for Tropic of C's fraudulent practices. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Worst experience ever!

Worst customer service

Worst customer service. They owed me money because they made a mistake on the receipt resulting in me having to pay more taxes. Horrible customer service. They should be ashamed of themselves- lying to their customers and not taking responsibility for their mistakes. I loved the swimwear but I refuse to give my money to such people.

The WORST customer service!!

The WORST customer service!!! I sent so many long so many emails which got no responses, I then resulted to sending multiple Instagram DMs until I finally got a response, managed to finally get a refund after sending the bikini back weeks ago and even so they forgot to refund postage as promised resulting in further Instagram DMs probing them until I finally got a response. Really bad and untrue bikini top sizing, so so small bought a medium as a petite female which didn’t fit at all, ended up purchasing an XXL which just about fit (I’m a size 6/8 UK). Awful company, wouldn’t recommend. I’ve lost so much money on taxes as an international customer and paid ridiculous shipping fees, defiantly didn’t cost me $35 to return it from the UK tracked. Their Instagram comments are full of other customers begging for a response to their emails sent weeks ago.

Customer service is seriously lacking

Customer service is seriously lacking. It seems like they're coping and pasting the same one line to all questions and comments customers reach out with--"We are unable to change orders as they get sent directly to our distribution center for fulfillment". It seems like they are either lazy or choose to be unhelpful to avoid customers making returns or cancellations of orders.

I was charged express shipping when I did not select that and when I reach out to customer service they literally said that same email "We are unable to change orders as they get sent directly to our distribution center for fulfillment."

Do they have no contact w the distribution center? How can I cancel an order? What is it exactly that they do do then?

I was so excited about this company but I am never ordering from them again. So beyond shady and fraudulent.
