Headline: Complete joke—zero buyer protection for faulty items
This place is an absolute joke. They offer barely any protection to the buyer while allowing items to be falsely advertised. I bought a pair of shoes that literally broke and fell apart the very first time I tried them on. The seller completely lied about the condition of the goods, and there is no proper support to help get my money back. It is pure manipulation. And for that reason, I will stop using this platform. Save your money and avoid this place at all costs—they do not care about customers once they have your money.

Scam site yet again ripped off on this app I sent…

Yet again ripped off on this app I sent for a T-shirt.Got a set of kids wheels for a toy car now.They're saying that they have not got enough information to give me a refund I don't know what more information they could get.Apart from sending the picture of exactly what come with the envelope with the tracking number This site needs looking into because it is just ripping people off Do\nNot pay for any items on your bank card.Make sure it is done through PayPal.Because you have a better chance of getting your money back

I had a terrible experience with this…

I had a terrible experience with this platform. My account was permanently blocked with the false accusation that I was selling fake items, which is absolutely not true. Their customer service is unhelpful and dismissive, offering no real support or resolution. I would never recommend Vintage to anyone — the way they treat their users is unacceptable. Poor customer service and unfair practices.

Title: Shockingly Poor Service – Breach of Consumer Rights & Zero Accountability

I am extremely dissatisfied with Vinted’s handling of my complaint. It was closed without any proper investigation, relying solely on the buyer’s photos and completely ignoring the evidence I submitted. This is unacceptable, shows poor customer service, and demonstrates a failure to act with reasonable care and skill, breaching your obligations under UK Consumer Law.
This case falls under:

Consumer Rights Act 2015, Section 49 – services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill.
Consumer Rights Act 2015, Section 57 – a trader cannot exclude liability for damage caused by negligence.
Pre-Action Protocol for Small Claims – both parties must exchange sufficient information before court action.

Your response is not only unfair but also unprofessional. Repeatedly claiming you “cannot find my account” despite me providing all relevant details is beyond frustrating and feels like an attempt to avoid responsibility.
I have issued a Letter Before Action demanding:

£50 compensation for the transaction and the inconvenience caused by your failure to properly review my evidence.

If this matter is not resolved within 14 days, I will proceed with a Small Claims Court action, including refund, compensation, and court costs.
This experience has been stressful, time-consuming, and completely unacceptable. I strongly advise others to think twice before trusting Vinted – their dispute resolution process is broken, and their customer support is non-existent.

Poor Customer and Unfair Buyer Fee

I am disappointed with my recent experience with Vintage. Despite explaining my situation clearly, my concerns were dismissed without meaningful support.
On top of this, the buyer's fee charges amount to nothing in terms of value - they add cost but provide no real benefit to the customer. Combined with the lack of flexibility and poor customer service, this left me feeling undervalued.
I hope Vintage reconsiders both its approach to customer service and the fairness of its fee structure, as these issues undermine tri* in the platform.

Do NOT trust do NOT use

First time of using this platform / company. Never ever again. BEWARNED of buyers who are using this platform.

I wanted to sell some original Adidas trainers. I had a seller very quickly and price agreed. I sent the package off and the package was returned as fake items were posted

Feeling very dubious when I collected the package, I recorded me opening to demonstrate that I had not tampered with the package.

The buyer had sent back to me fake trainers, you could tell they were actually used.

Many many emails have gone back and forth with vintage, you cannot talk to them even when you request I have now lost out big time

This is not the end of the story as I’m now taking legal action through a solicitor

Complicated app

Complicated app. Untill I was dealing with the delivery company who lost my parcel, Vinted already closed my case. I'm very new on this app and misses these 2 days gap for the complain. Money lost, not happy.

I sent a box of items

Vintage Cash Cow….I sent a box of items, was offered a paltry £20 which I rejected. They duly returned the box of items to me. However, the travel alarm clock ( many years old ) was damaged, for some unknown reason whoever looked at it attempted to remove the clock from its case. The hinge is twisted and a screw missing. The second item metal swans on a plinth had also been damaged, an attempt to separate the swans from the plinth. I complained sent photos, Vintage admitted liability and offered £60. I am Disgusted, they offered me that yet only £20 for the whole box. They advised that the clock is worth £5 to £30. No mention of the swans. They don’t seem to get that I am angry that they damaged those two items and did not return them in the condition that I had sent them. In that box there were watches ( Pulsar, Citizen and Rotary ) there were jewellery gold and silver, defunct Tesco Huddle and a Samsung tablet, costume jewellery and for the whole lot they offered £20. I’d get more at a car boot sale. So, I did not expect any to be tampered with and damaged. Absolutely Disgusting and certainly Not what they portray in their television adverts.

Vintage youre concept is good in all…

Vintage youre concept is good in all way,except one thing.
When a person buy something,this person needs to pick up the package,not that you reward this person by not picking it up.
First of all we the sellers give a lot of effort to pack and shipp it.
Ive the buyer can give any valid reason to not pick it up,its a total different story,but some people buy something from you,then they want to annulate it,then you send it,and then they dont pick it up in anyway.
Thats totaly nonsense that you reward these people by sending back there money,this you realy need to change asap.
Cause like this the seller can do whatever he wants to do and nobody cares..

Terrible food

Terrible food. Foie gras was a joke. The club sandwich was also very poor. Hamachi salad had a terrible fish quality, smelly and awful. Cheese table had three mini pieces of cheese and the rest was fruit. And cheese had only cheese rinds.But the worst was the Bloody Mary. It was truly the worst ever I have had!

Bad Delivery company and Buyer procreation

recently purchased a pair of slippers from seller and initially, the communication with the seller was great. However, when the delivery was attempted by Yodel a company that the app recommend the driver left the parcel outside without waiting for someone to open the door. Unfortunately, the slippers never reached me, and despite my efforts, the buyer protection offered by the app proved ineffective for lost parcels.

The investigation conducted by the app failed to determine where the parcel was left. I'm truly disappointed that the app decided not to provide a refund or find a satisfactory solution for both parties involved. This experience has left me feeling like I've been labeled as a scammer, which is disheartening considering the circumstances. I hope the app can improve its delivery processes and customer support to prevent such issues in the future.

Terrible company avoid at all cost

Terrible company avoid at all cost. I bought a jacket a d it did not fit. The seller would not take it back. And , despite my many emails saying don't pay the seller, they did anyway.
Vinted could not care less about customer service.
Avoid at all cost.

Great customer service

I ordered the wrong size ring and emailed to ask if the ring size could be changed before my order was shipped, my email was responded to quickly and my problem was solved easily. Very good customer service and great response time to emails would definitely purchase again
