Ordered a brass sundial to fit on a plinth. This was delivered very quickly and was beautifully made. For the quality, it was very reasonably priced and now looks superb on the plinth. Full marks to Black Country Metalworks. A late review because of illness.

Because iron lasts a lifetime we don’t but from Black Country very often. This time a trivet to save my worktops from spoiling. It’s a lovely piece which won’t look out of place when left out permanently. Delivery was fast and I was kept updated on when to expect it. Would thoroughly recommend this company.

We have purchased an amillary for our garden. It is a beautiful thing cleary crafted by an expert. We will display it with pride in our garden and it will easily hold its own in a space with sculptures..indeed this is really a piece of well crafted art. Fantastic

I bought a parcel box because I was getting frustrated at having post and parcels left out in wet weather. I ordered by phone and the assistant couldn't have been more helpful. The box arrived a few days after ordering. It is well made, a lovely vibrant red, and is providing invaluable protection for my Xmas post and parcels.

The hanging basket brackets arrived in a few days of ordering and are beautifully made . I have bought them as a gift and am reluctant to give them away as so beautiful.

The item arrived promptly and seems to be of very good quality.

Brass hinges
This is not necessarily a reflection on black country ironworks, but on the brass toilet seat hinges, I recently purchased.
Although these hinges may work on a modern new thin profile seat, there isn’t enough space between the seat and the lid for them to function properly on a classic wooden seat, thus not usable. I would return them if I was able to.
Might be worth saying on product description the thickness of seat that they are compatible with.

As I said this is not a reflection necessarily on black country, but on the product purchased from them.
