Horrendous company

Horrendous company. I ordered an paid over £300 for a broken computer that actually if it was working couldn't do the stuff the bundle stated. It was brought in November 21 for my sons birthday gift I'd saved all year for this and he is so upset as I can't replace the pc with another which leads onto the refund... the pc was returned to their warehouse in January 2022 its now May 22 still no refund. Website doesn't work contact number is wrong and I can't tell you how many emails have been sent it takes a vile person to do this to another.

on behalf of my parents.

I am writing this review on behalf of my parents. I realise it is long, so I will say it here: do not trust this company. don't buy from this company. don't trust their fancy high numbers and suspicious 5 star reviews. don't even bother with this company. go somewhere else.

back in early November, they found this website and paid for a gaming computer, which, I think, was close to £400. the date they gave for the delivery came and went, and they rung the place several times, only to be told by a young lass that it was still being "worked on", and that it would be ready by x-day. this would repeat for weeks - it's still being worked on, it'll ready by Monday, ready by Wednesday, ready by Friday - until they got tired of it and told her that they'd go up to the actual place to collect it themselves. this was in very early December. the lady actually gave them the guys personal phone number, too.

the trip itself was 2 hours there, 2 hours back (plus traffic). they said that when they got there, the place looked legit, with monitors and towers and cables everywhere, stuff like forklifts and huge boxes, even workers roaming around, but said that the phone was continuously ringing with no one picking it up. even then, it STILL took an hour to get a hold of the tower. when it was brought back, Windows 10, which was something they advertised as already being on, had to be manually installed via a code, and one of the cables was wrong.

despite this, for the first three months, it worked like a dream. my honest guess as to why mine lasted longer than all the reviews I've read is because it wasn't delivered when they had wanted it to be, instead being cornered into rushing their bug.

the game I wanted to play ran smoothly without issue until the middle of February, where it started freezing. not lagging, but full on freezing. other things on the computer started freezing too, like Chrome, Youtube, programs. in early March, there was a Windows 10 update that, when I went to update, both bluescreened the computer and locked me out completely, making it unable for me to try and fix it without having to go somewhere. naturally, I blamed Windows 10 at first.

because the shop is a 2 hour drive, we decided to reset and reformat it fully from a trusted friend to Windows 7. it's a good thing we didn't take that trip; it would've probably lead to even more headaches. even he said he didn't know what was wrong, or why it had bluescreened. somehow, even after the reformat, it was now running even worse than before, where everything was slow, and the game was freezing more than it ever had before. that lasted about 7 days before that got the Windows 7 version of a bluescreen lock out, too. sent it back to the friend, who again, did not understand why, reformatted it back to Windows 10, and it lasted about a day before another bluescreen. it's honestly all been a blur, there's been so many, but since having this computer, it has bluescreened seven times in 2 weeks, and I Wish that was as much of a joke as it sounds. the latest one is now stuck on a continuously restarting bluescreen, not taking me to a menu at all.

if I restarted or shut down the computer, it bluescreened. if I let it fall into sleep-mode, it bluescreened. if I tried playing the game I wanted, it would bluescreen upon exiting. the whole reason it's now stuck in its restarting blues is because I was going to attempt to fix the drivers, which the 6th bluescreen had screwed up. this is now the 7th =)

they've tried ringing the guys personal phone number, which first was let to ring until voicemail, and now cuts straight to voicemail. although they haven't tried emailing or ringing the company itself, I can see that that isn't really gonna get us anywhere, either.

this last month has been horrible for all of us because of this, and until I found this site and read other people's horror stories, I thought it was my fault. I don't know what we're going to do now.

please, please, PLEASE stay away from this horrid, wretched company. I literally cannot FATHEM how they're still up and running even after all I've read. an utter disgrace that preys on gullible people that don't know much about computers. stay safe, and go somewhere else.

Still waiting for a refund

This company finally took the faulty computer back, but have still not refunded me, or bothered to answer any of my messages.
I know I am not the only person who is struggling with this company. Please, please do not use them.

Further to my earlier review.... I had approached the County court and had a warrant of control issued against this fraudster.... Today I have been told by the court his premises is vacant and he has apparently closed. Can we file a fraud action or get his new premises details?

A Second update on my original review of 22nd Dec.

2nd February - My initial update included some detailed information about this company and its owner, obtained from Companies House and some other clues. Unfortunately TrustPilot (or its software) decided there was too much personal information and names, so I had to delete it. However, I would recommend a good look at Companies House, searching both the company name and that of its owner.

All I’d say here is that you will see that a new company has been set up recently by the owner, selling (you guessed!) second user PCs. This new company acquired seven five-star Trustpilot reviews in January, all short reviews from people with slightly odd names who have posted just one review, and all looking remarkably similar in style to the positive reviews on Trust in Tech’s page.

As per my original review the company owner first sent a totally inadequate return label, and then ignored my emails for more than four weeks. However, he finally decided to get the faulty PC collected, and fully in character sent a blank email without an attached courier return label. However, after his second try the PC was dispatched, and Hermes have now confirmed delivery, so after nearly 10 weeks the whole frustrating affair is over – for me anyway.

Reading the other reviews I can only say – what an extraordinary record to have! Buyer Beware doesn’t say the half of it….

Final note - Trustintech is now shown on Ebay as "No longer a registered user." Perhaps Ebay were fed up with having to arrange refunds?

Gaming PC

Received a gaming pc in early December in time for my sons birthday but when we went to set it up we found we had the wrong cables included, monitor in a bad condition with scratches all over, and the pc had a bit of plastic stuck inside the clear panel. I contacted them but no response, so I requested a refund through PayPal, they didnt respond so I was granted a refund. So disappointed. My son was heartbroken on his birthday. Do not recommend.

Received Computer from this company it is a fraudulent computer because they’ve sent me a computer where the motherboard doesn’t even work and this is after the fact that they sold me a bundle for over £300 and only sent me the computer not the monitor not the mouse not even the mouse mat after sending the first bundle back because there were dents in it. do not buy from this company I have got in touch with action fraud regarding this company and whatever way possible I will be taking it further even if I have to go to the financial ombudsman I will get this company viewed because I’m now out of money because he could not be bothered to send me what I paid for he is a fraudster and a thief because he’s kept my money and not provided the goods I paid for! He didn’t even try to settle it with me he’s disgusting. If anybody wants to see the correspondence pictures of the computer ect please contact me because people like this shouldn’t be able to have a company at all.

STEER WELL CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY

Ordered two gaming PC's as Christmas presents from the Trust in Tech eBay shop. Neither has arrived and I cannot get any response from the company at all. The phone answering machine is full and they do not respond to email at all. Like others I do not know if they have gone bust but the only course of action looks to be the small claims court.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY

Buyer Beware - DONT TRUST TIT.

Buyer Beware. Product was not working, (reboot and select hard drive message) Should have windows 10 installed but was windows 7. Amazon approved a refund, I am still waiting for my money to be returned. I should have guessed with a company called TIT.
No response from TIT, not even an apology. Disgraceful Company. No choice but to pursue in the small claims court.

Beware!!!

Just bought a new gaming pc for my son from this company. 2 out of the 4 fans not working (don't rotate & light up). One of rubber feet at the bottom of pc snapped off when moving it into place under desk. No activation code provided so can't activate Windows. Sent an email to them 2 days ago no reply and no auto-reply message either. Got through to a guy called Carl, who claims to be the director. He offered no apology. He said, he couldn't help me with the snapped rubber feet, and I needed to contact the supplier for the casing? He said, he'd get a technician to call me re: problems with fans and would send me the activation code. When asked when he'd do this, he said he got a backlog of over 400 emails and his staff is absent, so couldn't say when. The pc should come with MS Office but he said the website makes clear it doesn't, it only comes with Version Office, but nothing on website as I checked before buying. I was understandably frustrated by this point but remained calm and he threatened to NOT help me if I continued to show frustration! Unbelievable! This guy clearly thinks its acceptable to be treating customers in such an appalling way even though he's in the wrong. I still haven’t heard back from technician nor received the activation code. I’ll pursue this company though the Onbuy protection scheme.

BUYER BEWARE !! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY

BUYER BEWARE !!! This company has ruined my Christmas !!! I’m sure like me you are looking to trust this company as the reviews look good. This is not the case. After 3 weeks and constant chasing I am still no further to receiving my PC. Given a tracking number that is fake. Ignores all e-mails, takes your money and fails to provide goods without explanation. Had to get a third party involved to claim money back.

Overall disappointed

I was sent a PC with the incorrect processor and It did not have the WiFi dongle, nor did the screen come with the correct connectors. I was told to send the PC back to have the order corrected, but when I received my tower back it was broken and I was told it was broken when it got delivered to the company. I do not understand why they could not contact me to advise it was broken, I feel like I have purchased something that is broken before it was even used. Overall this isn't good enough, as the company requested the tower to be sent back they should have taken responsibility for any damages obtained whilst in transit. My tower did not even come in the PC box to start with, I was in a large box with bubble wrap, and the box was falling apart and wet.
The communication from this company has been really bad. They never reply to emails, I have been told over and over again someone will call or reply to me email which never happens. I spoke to the technician who was very helpful, however apart from that everything else has been very difficult.
