I went with this firm in March/April based on reviews, but was sadly let down. I was applying for a straight forward Family Visa (Fiancé route) US to UK, and Louis was assigned my case. I paid £400 for a skype session and a letter stating what supporting documents I would need for the application. The letter I was given was extremely generic and was missing important things (like needing a letter from our landlord granting me permission to live with my partner in her rented property). When I asked Louis about this, he first told me I did not need it. However, he emailed me again that night stating that he went over the Appendix and I was actually, in fact, correct. How come I knew more than the actual immigration solicitor? This was a major key document he should have known about and had I missed it myself, I could have easily been denied the visa. I cut contact with him after his email and went on by myself. I was thankfully approved based on what I provided myself. Overall, it was a waste of money having known everything I paid him to tell me, plus more. So, if you have familiarized yourself with the rules and Appendix, don't bother hiring a solicitor from Truth Legal Solicitors. Yes, he was very polite and nice to work with, but I would have taken a huge gamble following his advice (or lack of). I suggest joining this free and wonderfully helpful Facebook group if you're from the US: "UK Spouse visa for USA Citizens". They will answer all your questions and worries as it's filled with people who have gone through this process themselves. Good luck!

I applied on the Truth Legal website for a 15-minute free consultation regarding my wife's UK Spouse Visa application as we were a bit worried about the accuracy of our documents. Recently been granted skilled workers visa with the help of one of the best immigration solicitor Louis MacWilliam.
