Do not recommend

Very unhappy with their service and will not use them again. On Saturday 8 July 11.55am, I made a booking for a Picnic steam train ride i thought departed Saturday 15 July 8.10am. which my family was very much looking forward to. We turned up on Saturday 15th at 8.10am and waited. Upon checking our tickets, realised the train booking was for saturday 8th July. My fail for not checking the date. However, i realised the trybooking system had booked us on a train on 8th July 8.10am that had already departed and returned even before our booking was made! We were in the middle of moving and I got my dates mixed up so my fail there. However, that doesn't explain why the booking system format allowed me to book the ride after it was over. We paid $190 for something we didnt experience. I wrote a lengthy explanation to Picnic Train and they were apologetic but said it was our responsibility to check our tickets. My point is we shouldn't have been able to buy tickets for a train ride that had already finished.

Great telephone service

I am a once a year user for a uniform store so our site is quite complex. Tristan, the Try Booking adviser was really helpful and patient in helping me set our site up

First time user..

First time user... perfection!
We used TryBooking for a ticketed event recently and I honestly can not recommend this service highly enough. The customer service was next level - I was always able to speak to someone promptly and my issues were always solved with ease. The reporting system was brilliant, in that we could create documents to send catering information, create name badges, participant lists for check in - and more! I found the refund system wonderfully easy and the financial visibility was great.
Will definitely be using them for future events - without question! And a bonus that they're an Aussie company. Love love love!

We are first time users for this…

We are first time users for this platform, sold out event in 24hours and funds collected into our account. WOW !!
Ticket sales at the door for big events is chaotic and stressful for all especially organisers.
Customer service was excellent, phone assistance from Julie & Tristran clear and supportive .
Thankyou, Raving Fans of Try Booking ;-)

ZERO response. I cannot get back the money

Firstly website did not seek confirmation or review page before straight away accepting and processing the payment. I booked wrong number of tickest. I have sent 15 emails and several phone calls. ZERO response. I cannot get back the money

Companies like must be closed and punished

Trybooking has been an excellent way…

Trybooking has been an excellent way for people to register for our events. We can see how many people are coming, issue tickets if needed, collect payment even refund. It helps with our event budgeting.
It is easy to use. We have used it for many years.

Great Platform!

Have been using this platform for many years both as an organiser and as a ticket purchaser.

TryBooking offers a straightforward and comprehensive ticketing/booking system. The platform is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. If needed, the friendly team is always there for support. Highly recommend.

Trybooking is easy to use and support…

Trybooking is easy to use and support for how to use the platform is just an email or phonecall away. I have used trybooking for a variety of PD events over the past years, comprehensive reports are available, signon sheets and name tags can be easily generated to help support the event. I also love the reports available for the feedback meetings after the event. Thank you for supporting our small teaching organistation with supports to make running Professional Development events for fellow teachers and educational practitioners.

High quality and reliability

Terrific platform and exceptional customer service

A straightforward and really comprehensive ticketing platform - with outstanding customer service.
When creating an event, their product is user-friendly and easy to navigate, and their exceptional team is always on hand to help. Working in the Dramatic Arts department of a large school, we have used Trybooking for many years - and will continue to do so!

"trybooking"....it sounds like a taunt

"trybooking"....it sounds like a taunt, and it was.

Just tried booking a sunflower festival in Kalbar, and this booking system STOLE about an hour of my life I'll never get back.

Multiple "Oops, something went wrong" pages, ticket numbers raising and lowering vastly in seconds. Stalling when you click on the ticket numbers you want, and then when you finally do click, then go to pay, suddenly they are no longer available!

Either actually do your job, or pack it in. Worst ticketing experience in years and not worth an ulcer.

Use with care!!!

As an elderly person using this service for the first time, I decided to contact Trybooking by phone. The person I spoke with was quite disinterested in my issue and as a result I purchased the wrong tickets! Thanks for that! On replying for a refund within the hour I was charged a $10 admin fee!
Beware when booking using this service, as one event runs into the next event on a poorly designed website.

Sorry to hear that you had difficulties navigating our site, and it lead to you booking the wrong event. We have a high volume of events being sold through us, which is why we encourage our Event Organisers to provide their customers with the direct link to their event for booking.

We don't charge an admin fee for refunds. The full value of the tickets, including and processing fees, are able to be refunded through our platform. Only the $0.50 ticket fee is non-refundable. Looking at your booking, it appears the Event Organisers of the event you incorrectly booked to are the ones charging a $10 admin fee for refunds issued. We are reaching out them on your behalf to see if they can wave this fee, given the circumstances. We will follow up with you directly via email in regards to this matter.
