AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID …

AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID This company gets away with murder. They need to be shut down. right hand side hearing aid did not work. After being made to jump through hoops galore including a bizarre request to send them a photo of the hearing aid plus all the contents of the box and them keeping the faulty hearing and not replacing it weeks of messing me around I made the mistake of telling smart hearing that I was handing the matter over to my bank for a full refund as the hearing aid was faulty and I now wanted a full refund no sooner had I instigated a chargeback when after a 4 week silence from smart hearing a new hearing aid turned up and surprise surprise my bank found in favour of smart hearing. So I am down £170. Oh and the hearing aids themselves ABSOLUTELY CRAP Avoid at all costs Mike Sparkes

Great but view the vids

First off, excellent set of orientation vids, without which I wod not have known what to expect. These are seriously necessary. The earpieces se ip a whistling feedback when first in. Thid happens if the fit is not tight and was easy to fix because the vids told me what to do. Thereafter I could hear my wife perfectly when she mumbled so I could stop saying "God's sakw, speak up", which was a boonfor us both.

Fantastic value for money

Fantastic value for money, and unbelievable quality. I understand how easy it is to be sucked into the sales funnel of the high street suppliers. After all, you go there for a hearing test, impressive equipment is used to confirm what you already know ... your hearing isn't what it used to be. Then, bang, the sales process reels you in. All I'd say is give these guys a chance, you'd be amazed at how good these are at a FRACTION of the price. My order was delayed slightly, but their response to my email was virtually instantaneous, and they turned up the next day.

Please do not buy this terrible…

Please do not buy this terrible product!
Absolute rubbish! Uncomfortable, too loud even on the lowest setting, harsh, unnatural, and of the poorest quality. They do not perform as described and are not fit for purpose. They can't even be described as hearing aids. Just low quality amplifiers. Don't believe all the hype they give you about how great they are and their 45 day free home trial. It's a total con and trying to get a return for refund results in a planned path of stalling and obfuscation. I am trying to get a refund but as yet have not succeeded. Don't fall for it as I did. Just read the 84% of 1 star reviews. I don't think I have ever seen so many unhappy customers for one company.
My original review was removed as I understand their website was taken down. Can't imagine why! They operate under various names and use misspelled email contacts all to confuse. It was Smart Hearing, SP Smart Hearing. Now it's Try Smart Hearing. If you have been unlucky enough to fall for the hype and buy this product you must prepare for a long battle to get your money back. My advice---keep a documented trail of all emails and communication. Persist in your demand for a return address and a FULL refund. Do not accept their "goodwill gestures" of 50%. Send all your documents and copies to UK Trading Standards via Citizens Advice Bureau. Instigate a charge back claim via your Credit Card Company. Good luck!

Really impressed with these hearing…

Really impressed with these hearing aids. I have suffered from loss of hearing and tinnitus for over 10 years now and have always used nhs hearing aids which do help with the hearing but not the tinnitus . Having read some online reviews and looking at the price and 40 day returns I thought I would try the smart hearing aids and I have to say they are absolutely superb. Easy to set up and have reduced my tinnitus massively. I cannot recommend them enough.

I am still adjusting to them

I am still adjusting to wearing the hearing aids. At the moment it takes a while for my brain to hone into the right sounds not just the rustling of my clothing or my walking. I find they are great for watching the tv. and for 1 to 1 conversations especially if my partner is also wearing her aids. The difficulty i have is where there are more than a few people. I am finding it difficult to hear conversations. With time this may ease i hope

Buyer beware

I feel I should write this as a warning. I posted my review on "smart hearing" page (trading as "trysmarthearing.com"). Most of the reviews on that page was negative. Now I see Trustpilot have removed this page - it appears because the smart hearing web page was closed due to trustpilot policy. This sounds a good way to reset and clear all your poor reviews! Now on this page, I wonder if all the 5 star reviews n this page are genuine. Please read my original review below and all the other 1 star reviews before you buy:

"Wish I had seen this before I purchased them. All their advertising is a lie; they are selling cheap Chinese amplifiers. Returns policy is a scam, they offer 30% and then don't even return this! Only advice I can give is don't buy, and if you do, claim your money back through your credit card company.""

Can you hear me mother?

I find putting the aids in my ears very difficult, even using the smallest ear tips and the left one in particular is prone to a lot of whistling.
My NHS aids had a setting to connect to a loop system in meetings that I attend regularly and where mics are used for the benefit of the 100+ attendees. I was surprised there was no such facility with these aids. There are 4 preset programs listed on p34 of the manual but there is no indication of what each one does or when to use them. Is one for a loop system?
I have quite a few days left to try them out so I will persevere and hopefully get used to them.

I have not had my hearing aid very long, but already I have noticed a difference in my hearing, the TV does not have to be at full volume anymore, and I can hold a conversation with people with having to keep asking the to repeat them.
I would recommend them if you are having problems with your hearing.

Good value

I had to persuade myself that the offer was genuine. Order stages were reassuring. Arrived in a few days. First impressions were of well presented charger/container. Quick read of instructions, remove transit straps then plug in ears and go. Wiggle around in ears to check fit. Audio quality on voice was very good. More slight repositioning to remove minor whistling. Early impressions are of good basic level functions. Very good value.

Smart Hearing Aids

I been wearing NHS hearing aids and saw the advertisement for Smart hearing, after reading about them and seeing you get 45 days home trail with No fuss, No Catch, they are small. I ordered them. They arrived and I put them in my ears and they are not small at all.. as for the sound, it was awful, evennon the lowest setting everything was far to loud, and when you walk all uou hear is a thud thud sound. Compaired to my NHS hearing aids the Smart ones are not as advertised. To return them is an issue, the questioned they ask, I did not see had any relevance to returning them. One question was what you audiologist said about your hearing lost, have uou watch the videos, and so on. You do not get a complete refund... you get a partial / Goodwill gestureas, as once you have opened the hearing aid and warn them they are classed as unhygienic, My question was how do you trail something if you do not ware them... I DO NOT RECOMMEND these at all, bigest con out.. stick to NHS hearing aids. Sound and quilatity is far superior to Smart hearing aids. And the most you pay is £100 if you loose them...

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
If I could give 0 stars I would.
The 45 day money back guarantee is worthless, it is a scam.
I was unable to tolerate these hearing aids in my ears and had various issues with the size of the hearing aids and whistling noise etc. The sound was exagerated to an uncomfortable degree.
After only 6 days I knew I could not tolerate these and asked for a refund.
Like many other people stated in their reviews, emails were sent asking various question ie, how long had I worn them for, what volume did I use, what size ear tips did I use etc.
After about 10+ emails back and forth, each time I replied and said the bottom line is I cannot tolerate these hearing aids so please can I have a refund!
I was so fed up with this company refusing to give me a return address for the hearing aids and a subsequent refund, I have contacted Trading Standards, Rip off Britain and my credit card company.
Only now have they come back with a 'goodwill' gesture of £45 as they said because the hearing aids had been worn they were not able to be resold!
Can someone please explain to me how you trial a product without using it as I am confused!
These were purchased on the 6th May and my dispute is still ongoing!
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY

I was very dubious about these for the money!
I was quoted nearly £4000 at boots hearing care.
I honestly believe that these are better than the Boots hearing aids that I tried.
They felt a little alien at first but now after just 2 weeks I’m used to them.
I cannot recommend them enough!
Brilliant
