Completely ineffective - does not remove hair at all. Do not waste your money.

Bought this product and it does not work, I contacted them and they told me how to use it, I replied saying I know how to use it but it doesn’t work, they then sent me an email offering me a 30% refund, I’m still waiting for a reply, this company needs to be removed from the market as it’s a scam and so is their refund policy
Update- so relieved I paid via PayPal got a refund through them, after I put in a complaint

I wouldn’t even rate this company one star. I was informed my order couldn’t be delivered because of an issues with the delivery company, despite me giving very clear instructions to ensure I could receive the delivery. I made a complaint and was asked to clarify the mailing address which I did and still did not receive the product. After a second complaint I am no further forward: still no product, no helpful response from the company other than to continue to blame the courier and no signs of a refund. I would strongly discourage anyone from using this brand

Can't recommend it, terrible customer service. I received a broken item and wrote them that I just want to send it back and no replacement. All I get is stalling emails and no useful information. Glad that I didn't pay in advance, but they're still wasting my time.

This is a complete scam.
I decided to place an order with Klarna payment solutions because is thought it was worth a shot and I’d be protected from a scam by using Klarna. The website looked like a Norwegian website. after placing an order it took about 2-3 weeks for the provider to send it, but it never arrived at my address or at a postal service near me. I sent an email about this and requested the invoice deleted because the product was probably returned from whatever postal service location the product arrived at. They did not respond to my email, and I had to send a new one 13 days later. When they did reply, they told me that they had already forwarded a new product to me despite my request in the first email not to that. It’s been over a month since I placed the order, no product has arrived and now I’m forced to pay the invoice (with a late fee because it’s past it’s due date) and there’s no sign of the product or a tracking code for the new shipment that I did not request. Total scam!

My daughter accidentally ordered the article with payment by invoice through the payment platform Klarna.
After receiving the email with the order confirmation from tryunik on May 12th, I immediately contacted the company, notifying of such order created by mistake. The customer support replied on May 13th saying that the article had been already shipped. First lie: according to the tracking number, the article has been shipped on May 17th, so there was plenty of time to cancel my order. On May 29th I received the article and immediately contacted the customer support to ask for instructions for the return since no delivery slip with return options were found in the package, neither are available on their official website. Today I contacted again the customer support. Up to date, no answer and the payment through Klarna is due by June 11th. How can I exercise my right of withdrawal and return the article if the company does not acknowledge the request, failing to provide an address for the return? I will not pay for the article, that is for sure, and I have already reported the company for fraud.

Received May 20. Tried and didn't work, contacted the company. Over a week later, after multiple requests and a flurry of responses telling me I'm probably not using it right, I finally got an offer for a whopping 30% refund on a faulty product. Be advised, if you've used the product, then you don't get to return it for a refund. Read the return policy.

After watching all the videos and reviews on instagram I was keen to try this product. Unfortunately it took an hour to do my legs and even after several uses, the hair grows back as quick as shaved legs, but takes 10x as long to do. Bikini and underarms were difficult due to the size and shape and hardly worked. The edges can scrape and cause cuts and friction burns which was uncomfortable. Hoping my review helps deter people from spending the same amount of money for a product that just doesn’t meet the mark.

Doesn't work. No hair removed at all. Only removes skin. Contacted customer services to check I was using the current technique, and I was. Waste of money. Must be some video manipulation in the promo videos.

Premium crystal items - Hair removal...more like skin removal. Better used as a dry skin exfoliator than hair remover. Works moderately well on legs, useless for under arms and bikini. Tried contacting UNIK several times to return 2x unused items - no response. I've sent my 3rd email today. No contact number just an email listed on the site.

This product does not work! If you want to spend an age scratching your legs to death whilst maintaining hairy legs then this is the product you need. Awful delivery, awful customer service, dreadful product!

Covered in cuts and friction burns -oh and hairs! Doesn’t work at all, only manages to buff off my skin. In so much pain. Have no idea how they expect you to remove hairs on private region as the thing is very large and cannot possibly manoeuvre it into crevices. Really evil product, should be banned!

I ordered this item thinking it would be the end of shaving and have smoother legs etc. it took over a week to arrive. The shipment tracking was awful, no updated information. I eventually received the item and gave it a go. Not impressed. It exfoliates the skin but the hair didn’t budge. Tried on several occasions and nothing. I gave up. I have contacted the company three times now to try and get a refund and as yet I’ve had no response. Wouldn’t recommend

I was sent an eyelash set. Not the hair removal product expected.
I have contacted customer service several times and including their Instagram page. They have deleted comments about the lash sets. I have seen others post but they still delete. They are very much active on Instagram but are not opening my message. I will be going to trading standards as this I don't think this is a legitimate business .
Awful service

I never received my package, even though the tracking said it had been delivered. I emailed customer support and didn’t get a reply for two weeks. The reply was extremely unhelpful as they just told me to ask my neighbours or check with the building manager. I replied to this asking for a refund and never heard back.

I was never sent the product I ordered, instead I was sent an eyelash set. Contacted customer service and no response. It’s a scam!

A friend of mine had ordered from Unik before, and received a discount code afterwards. She showed me the hairremover, which she always carries in her handbag. I tried it out on my arm, and wanted to order 1 too. I used her discount code and immediately bought a 3-pack for my mother and sister. Good price and no more waxing and laser treatments for us anymore!

I wanted to try a new hair removal product and came across Unik. Sceptical at first, but wanted to give it a try because waxing is very painful for me. Tried it about a week ago and it was a great experience! It definitely takes some time to master it, otherwise it makes small cuts and is a bit painful, but after that it is great!

My 15 and 18 year old daughters wanted to start shaving body hair, but razor blades are a bit too dangerous for them just yet. I ordered the Crystal Hair Remover for them, and so far it offers the perfect solution. So they can still shave safely without any razor cuts. Great!
