Tucann does not respond to chat or email. They mislabeled my package and it was returned to sender. I contacted them thru all available means. 0 response. Shorts might be great, but the customer service is super abysmal

Difficult to get a refund
Despite several emails and confirmation of receipt, I still haven’t received a refund.
The return process has been very difficult so far. It’s not only hard to get in touch, but the handling is taking unnecessarily long – even though the returned parcel has been in your possession for quite some time..

AVOID.
Ordered 2 pairs of shorts for vacation on 21st May. Paid expedited shipping to get them in time. They did not mail the shorts until the 5th June. Blaming it on their carrier. They refunded the expedited shipping, but completely let me down. Will be returning the shorts as soon as they arrive. Employ more people if you can’t handle the volume of sales.

Great quality
The bathing suit looks great and the quality was as I expected. I was at the beach this past week and had several people ask where I got the the suit.

UPDATE: I've received my goods today after many, many weeks of hassle. It took 61 emails, taking to this platform and many different replies from customer service agents (many AI generated) to eventually get my goods.
It was my persistence that got me my goods and not good customer service.
On a positive note the trunks are great & very good quality! But not worth over £100 each if you have to pay import duty yourself.
DO NOT BUY FROM OUTSIDE THE US UNTIL THEY'VE SORTED OUT THEIR DELIVERIES.

Customs Duty scam
I am another UK based purchaser subject to their Heathrow Customs scam.
My shorts have been held at Heathrow for 12 days according to the Track Order page, I've chased Tucann numerous times with them telling me everything was normal until just now, when they've told me there are import duties to pay and that I have been contacted by DHL to pay them, which of course I haven't.
Given the value of the goods is under £135 there are absolutely NO import duties to pay, and even if there were I have no way to pay them as it's down to Tucann to do so.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
UPDATE: I have not received an email despite their reply below
UPDATE 2: a week later and I've had no updates from Tucann at all, and the package is still at Heathrow.
DEFINITELY DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY

A Disney Ending

Initially I had the same experience as other Brits who bought some shorts in May. They were held at UK customs for several weeks. I then had several days of circles between DHL, UK Customs and Tucann with each advising it's down to the other to sort and a somewhat lake of interest from Tucann.
However, my negative review and those of others with a similar experience did prompt action from Tucann.
I received an email from Andrew (at Tucann) who recognised something was awry, identified what it was and took quick action to put things right. It was so refreshing to deal with someone who took ownership of the issue, was decisive, kept me informed and communicated promptly. This is the kind of customer service I've come to expect from the USA. I now have my shorts, a little later than expected, but they are awesome and in time for my holiday to Las Vegas in just over a week.

Don’t buy if you live outside USA
Paid over $150 for two pairs of shorts a to be delivered to the UK. Apparently they arrived in Heathrow on May 2nd and no duties were paid on time and so now they have disappeared. Tucann have said to talk to DHL. DHL say talk to Tucann. Heathrow say nothing.
If you live outside the USA don’t bother with this company

I have never tried on or owned a bathing suit of this super quality. I originally bought a medium but exchanged it for large. I am typically between a medium and a large. I ordinarly wear 7 inch shorts because of my height. However, I prefer a shorter length (5 inch) in a bathing suit to more free, cool, and quicker drying. I think the shorter length also pushed me to the large over the medium. The material is lightweight, stretchy, excellent quality, seems durable, and like it would dry quickly. The interior liner is incredibly smooth and soft. This suit has a special tie on the inside of the waist which can be used to tighten the waist if needed. What a great idea! I have not used this suit yet but based on all of the features, I cannot wait to try it out. I am so impressed with this one that I will likely get another before our family trip this summer. The new releases have kept me interested to see the potential options.

I originally made my order 2 pairs of trunks on the 3rd May. When I place my order I was charged taxes and duties. My order has been stuck in Heathrow customs since 14th May.
I have tried DHL and getting no answers. Tucann are giving answers they will review but nothing happens.
A great product. But I would not recommend buying if you live in the UK.
Update 280525- 5 days on from original post. Various emails with Tucann first asking me to pay import duties . I then showed I had paid duties when I had placed order which doesn't give a lot of confidence. They then promised to resolve with DHL but no movement to date.

Now 5 days on from last reply from Tucann. They are now ignoring my emails. Still no closer to getting the trunks held in customs that I paid import duty on when I purchased.

I can confirm I received a full refund and they sent me my order for free. I had to pay import duties. It's a shame they took 7 weeks to arrive and they arrived whilst I was on the holiday I bought them for. Now they have a been delivered they are exceptional quality and I will buy again.
If you do order from UK buy 1 pair at a time then you hit no customs issues and they end up cheaper

BEWARE NON EXISTANT CUSTOMER SERVICE
I purchased two pairs of shorts at £120 and initially I got my DHL code and things appeared to be going well until my parcel arrived at Heathrow and then nothing. The parcel has been there now for 2 weeks and this companies customer service consists of AI bots who put you round in circles. DHL are as bad with AI again not assisting. Purchasers BEWARE it will now take me going through my credit card company to get and assistance or refund there policy is they don’t refund international parcels that are clearly lost in transit and they don’t get back to you at all only an automated e mail. They advertise as the Rolex and Louis Vuitton of shorts if I were those companies I would be taking them to court !
After two weeks I now have an e mail requesting a further 51.00 pounds in import tax which shouldn’t be paid on goods under £135 pounds or they wont be delivered. This was never indicated when I paid 120.117 for the goods. Once again they refer you to dhl and now a third party alleged customs collection service. So i have to now argue the cost if this and tax with the third party provider to get goods delivered. If you are in The UK avoid this company at all costs!!!!
19/05 I have now spoken to the alleged customs collection service and due to the wrong value being given to DHL by tucann they cannot change this and I will now have to refuse delivery and try and seek a refund with them direct or pay nearly an additional 40 percent in tax. The experience continues!
Fir the avoidance of doubt uk customs did not value the goods you did and it cannot be changed the wrong value was given to DHL which tucann require to sort out. This is the only non AI reply I have had which has had any speed in over 2 weeks! Maybe you can reply and let me know and those on Trustpilot how you wish to resolve this shambles !
21/05 once again going round in circles and getting no where with Tucann who in effect have left it blaming customs or DHL for the mistake in the over value of the invoiced order. This has been a lesson in customer service at its worst end of the scale and if it wasn’t for trustpilot I don’t think there would have been any interaction with humans as they constantly believe AI bots and pre composed e mails will fix anything. Clearly the only interaction in valuing the goods was human and it has failed miserably.

Their return/refund policy is a joke. I'm sending my order back because the fit is terrible, and they're keeping $20 from my purchase—plus I have to cover the return shipping. Definitely won't be buying from this company ever again.

Be carefull. Onece a customersupport informed me abou1-2 days of processing of my ordere. A week has gone and still processing. Everything what thay can say - Your oder is processing. Costumer service is worts than ever! Never again!
