Anyelin was such a phenomenal help to my daughter for her AP US History exam. She was so upbeat and positive and had multiple ideas, tips and strategies on how to help her improve her score. Not only did she know the AP exam well but she knew each unit of the AP US history class. We cannot say enough good things about her. We only wish we would have started with her at the beginning of the year!

I've only had one lesson with my new Tutor teacher, but I was very excited to hear what he had to say and how to work for progress in my chosen subject. I'll have more to say as the lessons continue, but I can already see an improvement in myself after one lesson!

This program has turned my daughter’s life around. Her confidence has doubled since starting. She not only gained confidence in math, but her other subjects as well. They matched her with the perfect tutor and she’s a different kid. It’s worth every penny! Thank you so much!

This was by far the worst educational experience I have ever had. To say that my tutor was unreliable and unprofessional would be a gross understatement. She canceled and or missed numerous appointments without notice. Sometimes my learning would be suspended for up to one month. After over a year of trying to learn French w/o any measure of consistency, I found myself frustrated, and was left feeling like a complete failure. Upon contacting the company, they were totally lacking any empathy for all of the missed appointments and my frustration. They would not provide any compensation at all for their completely negligent employee. To them I suppose not showing up for a lesson without notice was perfectly acceptable. As a highly regarded physician in my field, I am appalled by the utter lack of professionalism displayed by this company , and could not, in good conscience ,recommend them to anyone seeking to learn a new language. In conclusion, whatever you do - do not hire a tutor from Tutor Hero. You would be better served to learn through self study, online, AI or simply ANYTHING would be better than to have an experience like this!

Andrew N. is phenomenal! His knowledge of and expertise in using a MAC and the Adobe Creative Cloud is rare and unmatched! He is a fabulous teacher/tutor, so patient, kind, and reliable! I am lucky to have him and cannot sing his praises as much as he deserves.

I believe this your way of deflecting the negative experience we had with your service, while making others believe that you have somehow addressed the issues. I did contact you directly, and nothing happened ... other than you saying that you were " terribly sorry."

My daughter (Leilani) loves her tutor and she seems to understand Emma very well when explaining things. They're working on math as well as reading and we cant wait to see her progress grow.

I am studying for the life and health insurance exam. I’ve had two sessions with Liddia and so far she has helped me understand the importance of the words and terms. Having Liddia as a tutor will benefit my focus and understanding. So thank you!

When the first tutor didn’t work out they quickly found us a new one (named Som) who arrived well prepared and presented tasks in a way that worked for well my daughter. She has already improved her grade in honors geometry.

It took a couple times to get the right fit. Tutor Hero was helpful and diligent to get it right. Now moving forward with becoming office 365 expert!

Tutor hero has been a great resource for our high school aged child. There were very easy to reach and you instantly speak with a live person versus going through a lot of prompts. Our tutor had something come up about three months in and I called them to see if someone else was available to resume services. Not only did they find us another tutor, they notified us the new tutor would be reaching out and provided all of their information, followed up after the introductory call to ensure everything sounded good and we were comfortable with the new tutor, and even followed up after our first session to ensure it went well and our child responded favorably. Honestly, our experience could not be any better!! I would highly recommend them for any tutoring services, including college classes.

Zero stars if I could. This company engages in deceptive business practices and is more than willing to communicate by text message—unless you want to cancel, in which case they suddenly need to speak with you in person. For a service that COULD NEVER FIND A TUTOR TO ACTUALLY COME TO OUR HOME AND PROVIDE SERVICES, they had no trouble continuing to auto-bill our credit card. When I finally got someone on the phone, I was told I’d need to speak with the Finance Department about a refund (for a service they never provided), but of course the finance folks were “on the phone” and would have to call me back. This company is unreal and proved utterly incapable of delivering the service they happily took our money to provide.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Miss Merlin was super great! It was our first appointment & it went so well for my daughter! She was kind, friendly & very patient with my daughter! We’ll be keeping her as our tutor!

Find another tutoring place, we’ve been trying to find a tutor for my daughter for the last 2 weeks with them and we keep calling asking for updates to just be told they’ll get back to us by the end of the day and never do, when they finally found a tutor “match” it was a man with a strong accent no one in my house could even figure out what he was trying to say over the phone. This business is a scam charging so much and not even being helpful or finding actual English talking tutors to help

We had 3 teachers from tutor hero Dr Linda Rocha for mathematics Janet for English and Tonnie for digital arts. I requested teachers with good manners and decency because they would be teaching in our home. All 3 teachers were on time and had fully prepared to teach the lessons on arrival Professionals and friendly
I would recommend them in the future My son is A student with 96% -98% results at the end of the segments in Flvs Good job Tutor Hero!
