What the .....

OH SCREW THIS!

As many of you are already aware, TVMucho has restricted access for free customers due to the World Cup. That's fine, no big deal, I was willing to wait till the World Cup ended before I could start using TVMucho again, and I was willing to tolerate only being able to use it for 1 hour a day.

However, here's the problem. As of typing this, the World Cup is now completely OVER, yet they STILL have the restriction set in place!!! WHAT'S GOING ON?! I contacted customer support and they told me that they've quote unquote "indefinitely suspended" the 1 hour access!!! WHAT THE HELL?!

Seriously, now that the World Cup is over, there is LITERALLY *NO* REASON why the 1 hour access should stay suspended! The people behind TVMucho were always behind the mantra of providing some sort of service to those who could not afford it. That's what they were always behind. But now... I FEEL BETRAYED!

I'm so tempted to use a whole bunch of profanity in this review. That's how mad I am. But because I know how Trustpilot will reject and remove this review if I do, I've had no choice but to hold back my anger.

Is this a scam? It offers 1 free hour but asked to upgrade to paid subscription due to World Cup - it ended yesterday. False advertising.

Buffering interrupts recorded programmes

Lots of buffering when I watched a recorded programme last night. And tonight, I can't even get a recording to start. So disappointed. In theory it should be such a great service for expats. In practice, I'm starting to wonder if I did the right thing to pay for stockage on their 'Later' service.

Complete rubbish

I have previously used TVMucho to record continuity announcements from British, French, Irish and German television. However, apparently they want to be even more of a scam and try to profit off of the World Cup by forcing a subscription onto all free users. Will not use until the World Cup is OVER.

Stopped working two weeks after paying

Lots of glitches, doesn't work properly, the app forgot that I have a subscription plan and and stopped working after two weeks. Waste of money

Complete implosion for the last few…

Complete implosion for the last few weeks. I've had it for a while and while there have always been some glitches it was bearable. But it has completely gone down the toilet for weeks now and they just can't sort it out. Can't watch a single how without it buffering every few seconds, and just get generic replies saying how sorry they are.

Replying to TV mucho. Elaborate? I have written you dozens of emails, specifically annoyed off that you keep trying to push this back onto my internet connection even when I explain my internet is confirmed running super fast, everything else works perfectly, I do 5 or 6 hours of video calls each day fine for work...and especially when when you FINALLY do a reboot after an hour of emails, it then works fine again. This is YOUR service, take responsibility.

I'm not sure why the service won't work…

I'm not sure why the service won't work for me. I've just enrolled in the free version, I have a UK VPN in place, I've cleared all cookies. But when I try to play something, I get a message about being "outside the satellite area, and I'm offered to get liberte VPN, but I am already geoloacted in the UK.

I can see an activation code in my profile on the page, but I can's see where to use it, have not been asked to use it. My email has been verified.

I have also tried using no VPN, ie location is Canada, and VPN for NYC, and Amsterdam. But always the same problem.

So, I need some help :) Thanks in advance.

I am soo happy that I found Tv mucho - I live in Greece but have family and friends from the UK - using their service we were able to watch the world cup together in English and very reasonable prices for the content

I have had a reasonable service this…

I have had a reasonable service this last few years here in Spain, but since this Worldcup football fiasco the service has gone to POT, please get your service back to some normality, & a service reasonable for people who are not in the least bit interested in football, the fact that you are asking customers to pay more for the football when i dont even want to watch is a JOKE. I have just signed up for paid…

I have just signed up for paid membership. Quality of image is very good. Casting onto TV working well.

However coming from Transponder.tv which has stopped taking payment, the user interface at TVMucho is comparably poor. I was able to view channels through the browser with Transponder.tv and Transponder.tv had a better TV Guide, Channel list and app user interface.

Apart from that, works well and will stay until Transponder.tv returns or a new user-friendly alternative comes up or better yet, TVMucho improves the app.

Dictatorship

Dictatorship, it's football season, millions enjoy sports, football being one of them, however millions like to watch other programs besides sports, tvmucho offer a service and brag on the free service, part of the service is being able to record a program, at the moment football is on, football like all sports could be put on a specific channel for all those that love football, but if you want to watch your recordings then you have to pay because football is on, and the time that tvmucho won't cast, YouTube casts without fail, tvmucho is temperamental and not all of its functions work properly.

THIS IS A ZERO STAR RATING NOT ONE

Incredibly angry right now! As you may have noticed, they've completely restricted access for free accounts during the World Cup, due to "high demand". However, they have gone an extra mile and restriced access to ALL CHANNELS, not just the ones that are showing the World Cup, and all of my previous recordings are inaccessible!

TVMucho, if it's really such a big problem, just restrict access to the channels that are showing the World Cup (such as BBC One, ITV1, etc.) NOT every single channel (including ones that have got absolutely nothing to do with the World Cup)! Your added restriction of not being able to access any recordings is another low you've stooped down to.

Terrible service over the last few days

The service over last few days has been awful!!!!
I keep getting my 1free hour has be used up message as soon as I log in trying to watch my recordings and get the upgrade my subscription due to the world cup when I try to watch live tv!!!

I've sent countless email to the support team but only get the automated reply.

I am fed up with Tv mucho

I am fed up with Tv mucho, it continually asks me to sign in, or that my 1hour of free viewing is up. I have paid for the year. Now I can t get to watch my programme that I recorded. This is turning in to a very poor service.
