Removed so many good channels recently such as nat geo, discovery turbo, eurosport etc and replaced them with completely unknown channels. What on earth is think??? And they're still charging the same prices!! AVOID.
I value TV Player, however over the last 2 months they have had so many issues technically, I still have various channels stating unable to load ensure CORS is enabled???, Response times are quick when asking a question or reporting an issue but fix time and updates are very slow.
Also at least 10 channels are no longer possible to view such as Eurosport etc, also when I first subscribe 80 channels were accessible now only 39 .

Where have all the channels gone? You have taken away the good channels and left the ones no one wants to watch. DO not bother with this app

Very poor customer service. Channels constantly change on the premium service. Discovery Turbo etc have now been replaced with poor French documentaries whose dubbing is shocking and inaudible. Use 3rd party cookies and leaves your computer open to hacking.

soon as I started paying it dropped the 2 channels I wanted it for. pointless.
Only been a member for 6 weeks and already most of the "premium" channels I subscribed for have now been removed. Subscription cancelled.
The picture quality of some of the premium channels are also pretty bad even though I have my Firestick wired to my router with ethernet adapter and have a good solid 100Mbps internet connection with low latency.

Pure sh1te, 0 stars more like i started my subscription for mtv comedy central discovery turbo and more to be told half way thru it they were gone with no warning or anything and would not give me my money back. False advertising also saying still they are available when they are not. Bad way to do business as many of the other reviews are the exact same.

For starters I used to like this app but now most of the premium channels have gone. Comedy Central, comedy central extra, discover turbo, national geographic, fox, mtv, eurosport and many more are gone.
I am cancelling the tv player as soon as I finish this post. I WILL NOT BE RIPPED OFF IN TO PAYING FOR WHAT I CAN GET FOR FREE ON FREEVIEW!!! With hardly any premium channels left its time to put this old dog down - it is not worth it!

I was happy paying £10 a month for a service that was very good with lots of channels. I took it on the chin when they reduced the number of channels and reduced the price the first time. This time it’s the final straw unless they are going to pay me to watch what is left. I guess the fat cats have made their money and run. What a way to treat your customers. What a way to run a business, I hope it ceases to trade through lack of subscribers.

Totally disgusted! Took out Premium subscription about 3 months ago to get Fox, Eurosport and a few others and now they are all gone ... and no prior warning.
Their site is still advertising these channels are available, so BEWARE!!!!

For someone who only has Freeview you can enjoy a number of channels not found on free to air services, channels only found on satellite, cable, or other paid for streaming services, you will find a variety of channels with something of interest,
Channels include0 History Channel, History Channel 2, Crime and Investigation, Discovery Channel and many more. This at the even better reduced subscription fee of just £6.99 a month, what more can you ask for.
If I could give it no stars I would. They take your money for channels you want to watch then take them away during your subscription what a big rip off company don't bother or you will get ripped off

Don’t bother signing up for this. I had TV player premium and all the channels are now gone, replaced by rubbish I don’t want to see.

excellent little app to have on the PC for those days away when your not near a tv to tune into the discovery channel when away from home

I am a Premium subscriber from the start. This service allowed me to simply cut the antenna cables and have a LIVE TV service where I move/go.
Unfortunately, a good service went bad. The channel count in now in 20s, and they are adding some silly “on demand” content as replacement for premium channels recently cut... I paid for this device to have a LIVE TV stream, not to have on demand content. I have amazon prime video, Netflix and Pluto TV to watch VoD.
I am glad I never fell for their annual plan, as quite frankly would feel cheated, more so as I do on a monthly plan, but at least I can cancel.
It’s time to consider ditching TV player. I would not recommend it for new users. I wish freeview could pull a life streaming platform together.

When I first took a paid subscription out with TV Player the channels available were quite good however now they've taken the majority of the (in my opinion) decent channels away I shall be cancelling my subscription and moving elsewhere.

I paid for premium plus in May this year and have been using TV player for considerable time over the past three years, since then many channels have been removed, some new on demand channels have recently been added although 1/2 of those are not all currently accessible to my account for some unknown reason. The problem with on demand channels is usually that the content is not regularly updated, since these channels are new we shall have to wait and see what happens regarding that with TVPlayer.
Yesterday there was a another batch of channel removals, a lot of very good channel's that I usually watch. I don't know what is happening to this platform but it doesn't seem to be heading in a sensible direction.
In its hay day this service if also subscribing with Nowtv was a good solution to get a decent quantity of very good channels for quite low cost.
If it ends up being an on demand service (of lower grade low cost content) rather than having the usual channels that we all like then I doubt I will renew next year and be forced to take another service instead.
Generally the reliability of the service has been mostly ok, not the most reliable although usually any issues get fixed in a day or two.
I would not recommend anyone paying a one year subscription, but to pay monthly instead - as its possible that even more content may disappear / be replaced with some on demand content and your favourite channels may no longer be available.

I started using this tv service because it had Eurosport 1 and 2 yet turned my tv on today and they are no longer available! No warning just gone, what a terrible service I won’t be renewing my subscription! Avoid

Channels disappearing all the time! I am a paid for subscriber and all the channels that I pay to watch I have suddenly been told are no longer available! But of course they are still happy to charge me for the full service! This company is an absolute joke - stay clear!

They take you're money then cut off half the channels complete rip off
