Constantly freezes or refuses to load channels. Channel 5 often won't work at all even though all other channels play OK. Netflix and other steaming services on my firestick all play perfectly so clearly the app doesn't work very well.

used to be brilliant until they gradually the best channels started going, no more gold, id, euro sport and we just get some rubbish on demand stuff instead like 5 a side, whats that about? i am thinking of cancelling premium. we keep getting told more soon still waiting ....

Keeps Buffering the lip sync is out most times. Still 2 weeks later still the same problem what a good advert for selling a subscription, I think not

TV Player is terrible on the fire stick, live streaming stutters, or halfway through a program stops streaming. Or even worse suddenly stops mid stream and asks if you are still watching. Channel Five after 2100 is unwatchable, There is no way to watch your local news programmes. If its a important program you have to switch to Iplayer, 4OD or Channel Five apps outside of the programme. Its a terrible app.

Wow, as if you can't get any worse it now seems as though, according to your compatibility page 'Samsung Smart TV's are no longer supported
You can watch TVPlayer on a wide range of devices. So whether you like watching Entertainment, Documentary, Sports, Music or Kids channels, there are loads of different ways to watch.
The following devices are supported by TVPlayer:
PC/Laptop via the TVPlayer website
Apple TV
Apple iOS (iPad and iPhone)
Android Mobile & Tablet,
Amazon Fire TV including Firestick
Fantastic all at TVplayer, it looks as if not only are you losing over 75% of your programs BUT you have now, as it seems, no longer licenced to play on Smart TV's,
Do a zavvi and cut your losses, maybe sell what assets you have and be HONEST
Evz here, I’ve been a customer from the beginning of this creation and in the beginning it was beautiful; it shone bright, but sadly the shine has gone. All the comments I have read are of people who are disappointed with your service, feel like they have been let down and I would go as far to say... abused. I personally know that who ever is replying to all the paying customers that are saddened by these changes; does not care what kind of service they are getting. You are automated; payed to give the same answer time and time again. One customer said, quote; I signed up for the month free trial because my friend had the premium, my friend said to me I’m sorry I got you to sign up to this. channels, all the good channels are slowly disappearing. The customer then said. I’ve took my friends advice and will not be signing up to a premium package. I read the reply the customer received... Hi... sorry you are disappointed with what is on offer on the basic package, maybe the premium package will have something for you. And with that; a link to the premium signing up page on the tv players site. Has tv player been streaming certain channels illegally or have all the channels that meant something, the channels that gave TVPlayer it’s great reputation in the beginning; are these the channels the owners don’t want to pay for or stream because of legal reasons. TAKE A STAND PEOPLE; if you are not happy with the service any more... CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION CANCEL YOUR DIRECT DEBIT, PULL THE PLUG ON THEM BEFORE THEY MAKE THERE MONEY AND PULL THE PLUG ON YOU.

It used to be much better as it had a few music channels on there, but these are now gone and the channel selection is limited. It is good for watching the main channels like ITV when it works as sometimes it does crash or suddenly stop. BBC also does not work on there as it just directs you to the BBC i player app.

Today I finally connected the Freeview aerial to the tv. I NOW have channels that I haven't had for a few good months with TVPlayer since the decent programmes have been removed. And the picture QUALITY is something else now. Just cancelled my sub for TVPlayer. Bloody good riddance and I should have done this MONTHS ago! No buffering! No technical faults! A useable programme menu! No having to hit the OK button to confirm all the time! No dumping back to the main menu! The telly is useable again! Yea!
I really wish there was a -100000 star!

I tend to use it becouse I can't have sky dish up.The only thing is that the TVPlayer pore's at times and that can be a nuisance.

more problems again tonight, im glad i listened to those on here otherwise would have upgraded to premium, had to constantly clear cookies to get on tonight

Been with the service a few years. Always been appalling for technical problems and customer support but kept it on as cheap access to documentary channels. They have now scrapped most of these channels though leaving a completely worthless service.
Cancelled and good riddance.

Don't know what u are doing with the app but getting rid of the best channels cannot be good for business. Very disappointed and the new on demand channels are crap!

Disappointed SIFI and EUROSPORT 1 & 2 have been removed - I watched these channedls most.
I find that TVPlayer is subject to annoying & frequent buffering, making the watching of a channel dis-continuous. This does not happen on other internet channels.

I've been using TV player for years then all of a sudden with no notification from them all the good channels have disappeared!! Would have been nice to have been communicated this so I could have decided what to before you took my monthly fee , no point having it now

I subscribed to TVplayer back in may 2019 after years of watching free to air channels and I thought it was fantastic loads of great channels, catch up and record programmes the best paid tv service Iv ever used.
but then the rug was ripped out from under me with the removel of Comedy Central Comedy, Central extra, MTV, Animal planet, Discovery Turbo, Fox HD, Nat Geo, Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 left me with nothing to watch the channels that were added dont interest me and I dont want to pay £6.99 a month just for discovery channel.
I will continue to watch free to air channels throw TVplayer I would renew my subscription if the channels I listed return but until then I wish you the best of luck and hope you return to the lost channels soon

I've had tvplayer for a number of years, starting when it carried the premium uktv channels (gold, watch, drama, ect..). Gradually over the years the quality dropped. At first it seemed like they didn't have the bandwidth for the subscriber base and it struggled to stream well on occasions. Then, they lost the uktv channels but still had a decent range of premium listings such as Crime and Investigation, Discovery, Comedy Central, Eurosport. They then added some HD channels which was brilliant and the bandwidth issue seemed to resolve. This was followed up with multiple connection issues where the channel would not load (primarily C&I), but other channels would (discovery id). The service still represented value for money at this stage. Pricing structures split and kids channels were sold separately. Again, still worth the money (in my opinion). A minor annoyance then started popping up after what seemed like an hour but probably was more, checking I was still watching and giving a countdown (this is TV that people watch for periods of time, not YouTube clips). And then the channels started to disappear, slowly and surely all the premium channels I watched were no longer accessible.
I subscribed to tvplayer because I couldn't install cable or satellite, and it used to fill a gap in the market that many people like myself needed.
After the channels departed and the new on demand content arrived, I tried it, but as many of the other reviewers have stated, it's poorly dubbed, of narrow fields and doesn't hold a torch to the previous service.
I recently cancelled my subscription to what I initially had hoped was a promising gap filling premium service, that sadly declined into a premium knowledge channel (knowledge channel is a free channel that's on demand on connected freeview boxes) that costs more than can be justified.
I do hope another service with understandings of what customers want will launch in the future (a monthly subscription base of mixed entertainment / knowledge channels, with more than the paltry NowTV offering, providing catch up and on demand and for a reasonable monthly price)

So, I thought I’d try this service having come across it’s extension in an ad. “Great”, I said to myself. “I can have some channels on the move”. I signed in and saw the Chromecast icon on the screen so, when I clicked it and a credit card payment window popped up, I thought “Hey, no problem. I’ll be using this in the long term anyway, so no big deal”.
Well, that’s why the real problems began. As soon as I signed up, the Chromecast icon disappeared. Sure, I can watch on the laptop screen but I specifically paid the fee so that I can beam the content to my wall mounted system. Suffice it to say, I did not believe the apologies or the excuses. There is no way that the option should disappear once it has been paid for. It was pure clickbait and I fell for it.
This is only the first step. I plan to go beyond this review and see what can be done legally in order to stop this company defrauding its patrons. The amount of negative reviews here speak for themselves

I joined TV player premium service at the beginning of the yyear. At the time there were lots of channels on premium thatI wanted to watch, some of which were not on freeview TV and the #6.99 premium service monthly fee was well worth it. When I started watching the service I noticed the channels did not stream well, constantly freezing and hanging so I downloaded the TV Player app which, at the time, was compatible with Windows 10 as I use a PC,The streaming was much better via the app. I was happiliy using the service for serveral months but the company suddenly removed some channels from the free channels.many of these channes I liked and watched regularly. They then, severalmonths later, removed a further slew of channels, ioncluding from the Premium service and I found myself left with only one channel on the premium channels that I was really interested in. They then "upgraded" the TV player app without telling me and it is no longer compatible with Windows 10.The streming directly from the website is, frankly, unwatchale. My internet service works perectly with You Tube, Netflix and BBC I player.
All in all was very disapointing experience and not worth the money any more, I have now cancelled my premium service.
To be fair they added a few channels but they are not to my taste. If you like the channels and have a really good internet servcice it might be worth it but is not for me.

Appalling treatment of customers. Way over priced now all the good channels have been removed and replaced with sub par channels with very little notice and now I find out they will no longer stream through Roku or Windows 10 amongst others. Was good when I first started paying for premium just one month ago, now rubbish.

Sad to see all the premium channels removed this makes it nothing more than paying for free view service , Today i cancelled my package and wont return in its current format.
don't sign up its not worth the money
