I have had TV player for about 3 years and had no problem however the App on the Firestick updated itself yesterday and now nothing loads!!
Poor show if you ask me to make an update that stops people from then using the App!

Weĺl if this is your idea of updating and fixing issues on Amazon Firestick I think you may need someone with a clue as to what they are doing. Following the update ran yesterday ALL channels fail to load. I would love to tell you my veiwing pleasure has increased but to do that you have to be able to actually watch the programmes. Very poor TVPlayer.

I have TVPlayer on my firestick tv and pay £6.99 a month for the extra channels, i haven't been into it for a while,been trying to watch it the last few day but it keeps asking me to login but aint accepting my password, don't know no how to change password or to find out how to change password need help,my postcode is SE256NJ.would be much grateful if a member of Tvplayer could contact me with help many thanks Mr Harfleet

Tried to use TVPlayer for the first time on my Roku. Installed it fine, but as soon as I start it, it crashes.

Same issues as everyone else, fails to load and when/if it does it just freezes. Shame as this app was one of the best on the market, now it's one of the worst.
Update -
Same response from the support team as everyone else gets. Checked the help page in which provides zero help on the matter. Your app is loading or just keeps freezing. Why are we paying for a service that doesn't work??? Dropping to 1 star.

Since the update it constantly says failed to load video . I'm paying 6.99 for channels that are unwatchable as when it does load the channel it constantly freezes and kicks you off .. FIX IT ASAP OR LOOSE YOUR PAYING CUSTOMERS 😡

Always had a few problems with the app but put up with it , but since the latest update .out of the programmes do not work , its just says failed to load video , wish I hadn't updated , will be cancelling subscription as can only get 2 or 3 channels

The App is really buggy it lags all the time even though I'm on fibre and doesn't update the programs so you have to watch todays programs under tomorrows programs. The new update has only made things worse, probably the poorest app out there. TVPlayer has had plenty of time to resolve the bugs but chooses to put profit over quality. Will certainly never use this app again and have cancelled my subscription. I would advise you stay away from this app to avoid total frustration with it, just look at the other reviews.

Great app. Just not very clear about catch up . I'm watching TLC 90 days to engagement , hooked on it like a lot of people . But now I see I can only catch up on a months episodes . Is this right ? I can't catch up more than 4 or 5 episodes , I'd love to catch up from 1st episode of this season . Also how often does catch get updated ? I cant find last night's episode?

Absolute garbage. Tries to charge £7 a month so you can watch FREE TO WATCH channels such as BBC1,2 and channel 4. For context this is how much Netflix charges for a massive collection of media.
To make it worse it’s a terrible app, slow, buggy and not intuitive. The creators of this app deserve to go out of business, as they are numpties of the highest order.

I was too quick to give this app a bad review. I havent updated the ios app for a while and still works well; sporadic issues if at all. Done some research and learned that they didnt have the wherewithal to keep the premium channels as only about 45k users of 2 million were paying customers.
Hats off to the creators and staff who put their efforts into this service, hope alchimie and a&e bring back some premium channels or more freeview ones. Imo those broadcasters should be paying tvp for getting more viewers watching their channels.
I thought apps like this were the future of tv consumption but i guess theres too much competition

Their help centre is useless, the advice does not work and you sure as hell cannot get in touch with them. Avoid like the plague, hell even Sky are more contactable than this shower of effluent.

Giving a poor score as the app can’t seem to make up its mind if I need to pay for it or not. Some days the normal tv channels (1-5) are free, the next day they are locked and I’m told I have to pay £6.99 a month. Make up your mind!

This was my favourite app! Until I tried to use it this morning and realised it now doesn’t work in my country! I live in Jersey Which is classed as the uk so I’m not sure why, never had any problems before using this app. Very disappointing.

Constantly freezing. The new menu is not an improvement on the previous version and I assume is contributing to the constant screen freeze. Not happy

It's used to be bad, but now it's awful!
Funny how the advert breaks work/load fine but when it comes to the actual tv programme its freezes more than it plays.
No way would I pay extra for this service when the free option is so awful!
I dont have an antenna so this is pretty much my only option....

Needs a music channel on premium, TV guide rarely works, the troubleshooting support on the website is rubbish. They haven't updated the app since July 2019!
