Tried to purchase one of the plushies as a birthday gift for my girlfriend. They sent 2 out and neither arrived, they then refused to send a 3rd via tracked shipping (which would be standard for a... See more

SCAMMERS
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
Placed an order with Type One Style nearly two weeks ago now and I haven’t received my item.
The customer service is dreadful, I’ve been sent the exact same email twice now, nearly a week apart requesting the same information I gave them on the initial email.
I wish I checked here first before I made the purchase, will never use again.
For anyone reading this, please be wary of this company.
Expensive mistake
I rather foolishly placed a large order but the patches are not fit for purpose. They peel off and the design on them fades after a couple of days. An expensive mistake.
These patches are awful!!!!! Burnt skin
These patches are awful!!!!!! Just removed one from sons arm as his Omnipod was due to be changed and his skin has been burnt!!! First time using these patches & Never again will I b ordering of this site. I expected better with the prices they charge for the patches!
No sign of item, and poor customer services
ordered over 4 weeks ago, and paid extra for quicker delivery, No sign of item, tracking number invalid on Royal Mail website, have emailed customer services 4 times and nobody responding to my emails, wouldn't recommend this company, and will not be using again.
Best patches ever!
Dissapointing
Really dissapointed with these patches. They promise a lot and deliver very little.
The designs are cute and fun but the practicality of the patches is terrible.
I have a Libre 2 sensor and applying the patch was not only difficult but also useless. The centre of the patch comes off and offers no protection at all. The instructions were not very clear and the patches kept coming off even though I followed the instructions exactly as they said.
I had to replace them every 2 days which is not what is advertised and they left my skin red and blotchy.
Terrible product, you can get better ones on Amazon.... I wouldn't bother with these, first and last time for me.
Terrible!!
Terrible!!! I was attracted to the pretty designs, especially when my Dexcom is on show now we have the warmer weather. It’s disappointing that it’s email ‘support’ instead of the phone first of all! It takes ages for a reply. I can only get about 7-9days wear out of the patches before they start to lift around the edges! They say it’s 21days, which is rubbish!!! I’ve been told numerous times it’s the way I’m applying it. My partner does it for me and we follow all of the instructions. I feel silly now I’ve put in another order after reading these comments, like another person said….negative reviews get deleted! Please could somebody recommend another reliable company to use. Thank you.
Another inadequate company...
Another inadequate company benefitting off diabetes....
I placed an order for some under patches for my daughter and when they arrived (over a week later) I realised they do not fit the purpose. I realise they were poorly described and this is what led me to order the incorrect item. Their support process is a huge disappointment...having to play email tennis rather than a chat or phone number where this can get resolved in one go... Instead I'm left fuming getting a response every other day. A week after I sent the initial email still not resolved and I'm £15 poorer with no resolution. I don't recommend this company based on my first (and last) experience.
Previously brilliant; more recently less so
For the first few years using Type One Style I had nothing but praise for them. When I first signed up I got what felt like a personal email from the owner welcoming me and offering support aside from just buying products and it felt like a proper decent company who cared.
More recently just over a year ago I wrote to Charlie to say the Omnipod patches are huge especially for smaller children. The patch literally went all the way round my 5yos arm.
He thanked me for highlighting to him, asked me to send a discarded pod and some images so they could put a smaller patch design for children to be selected. He offered to send us some patches of the smaller size to try once they had implemented and when happy he would put to market.
I chased 6 months later to be told it was a huge task and they were most of the way through.
I chased up again today; and feel like I was basically fobbed off.
"We released them to a huge backlash so had to pull them".
Firstly; I don't believe they ever did go on sale. I've previously received spam emails literally daily advertising their products and never seen a smaller design advertised, nor did he make me aware, or send us a test sample, and I feel like my genuine issue with the sizing was taken positively but nothing has come of my feedback which is sad to see.
A real shame it's turned a bit sour with a company who at the heart of it I think do genuinely care but as I can't get patches more discreet for my child I'll be forced to look elsewhere.
Definitely can't recommend
Definitely can't recommend! The quality is super low. There are so many other brands that have a much better product!
Reactions and low intel on their site.
I really do love the patches design which is why I picked them in the first place, the issues I am having are a few!
First and most important, I have had severe reactions to these patches as a lot of others apparently has had as well. It shocked me that I could not for the life of me find an ingredients list on their website. They state that they use hypoallergenic materials but I have not found any facts to back this claim.
The reviews on their website is also not reliable, as it seems they pick and choose what reviews to allow on their site. I was not able to find a single negative review, which in itself is alarming because not every single human will be happy and satisfied with any product.
Sad these patches didn’t quite live up to the expectations, but I am happy others seem to enjoy.
My advice, do not get these patches if you have any allergies whatsoever. I personally do not have any allergies so I guess it’s quite 50/50 whether you get a reaction Or not.
Great stickers but difficult to apply
The stickers themselves are of good quality, they stick well, perhaps a little too well when trying to remove but I want something that will last the 14 days that I wear my sensor for. The issue I have is with the layout of the sheet the stickers come in and the difficulty in applying them. For the Libre 2 stickers there are two stickers on one sheet of paper, one to go on top of the sensor and one to go around it. The middle sticker isn’t too hard to apply. The outer sticker is hard to see exactly where to place with all the excess paper, I’ve started cutting out the empty circle where the middle sticker was with a stencil knife, this make it easy to put around the sensor before sticking. I think it would be a lot easier if the two stickers were on separate pieces of paper and if the paper was in the same circular shape as the stickers. Either way I will continue to buy these, they’re very cute and have lot of fun and pretty designs to choose from and adds some fun to the daily life of having T1D.
Do not recommend
Great when they started, but in the last year they've gone very downhill. The patches are very rarely sticky, and I was not notified that my - almost £50 worth of - points ran out.
Defective product no response charge on delivery
They sent a sticker reversed than it is in the picture I paid even more on delivery than I was supposed to pay when I reported it, they don't write back to messages
Peeled at the edges and caused irritation.
Used on a dexcom one+.
I paid extra for 1-3 day priority shipping however it took just over a week to get my delivery, they did send me another patch for free however, which was appreciated!
As someone new to CGMs I found the patch fiddly to put on as the centre section, where the sensor sits, was not completely cut out as I expected it to be. Don't know if it was meant to sit OVER the sensor but the instructions seems to imply you peel the centre section back and remove it, confusing.
The edges of the patch peeled away on day 6 and I had to carefully remove it and apply another (I was v.glad they had sent me the free one!!).
When it came time to remove the dexcom, I found my skin underneath was red and irritated in the shape of the patch.
Disappointing, as this company do the widest range of colours/pattern, state the patches last for the life of the sensor and are designed for sensitive skin so I had high hopes.
I'll still try them again just in case this was just a bad first time experience/user error but the skin irritation is a real shame!
Severe reaction to patch
Been using these patches for my Libre 2 for about 6 months.
The past two patches have caused a severe red itchy rash..wondering if they are using a different adhesive or something..I really like these patches they work very well last the full two weeks but I will not be using again due to reaction on my arm..I have emailed the company awaiting reply 🤞
My arm when patch removed red rash…
My arm when patch removed red rash where the patch was, skin removed , i have photos if this helps ,very disappointed, cannot find a contact number to talk to customer service

Kind of scammy
Low quality products, unreasonable return policy, unresponsive customer support.
Severe allergic reaction
Omnipod patches are promoted as hypoallergenic, I have no known allergies, and experienced a massive reaction. Painful skin, itching and when removed after 2 days , a small blister. Very disappointed as I love the designs. Have emailed company, awaiting response.
My new go to patches
Honestly, just wow. I’ve tried almost every patch on the market. From peeling off early to seriously irritating my sensitive skin, I had stopped wearing patches altogether. I decided to give this brand a chance because of a sale, and now I’m never looking back! These are hands-down the best patches I’ve ever used. They stay on strong and don’t irritate my skin at all. Shipping was also impressively fast, especially considering it’s international. My only complaint is that there’s too many designs to choose from ;)
