As i am a uber driver Uber are ripped…

As i am a uber driver Uber are ripping off by taking %40 to 60% off. Charging the riders very high money 💰 and paying to the drivers very little. They are no sharing our car expenses like car insurance and fuel prices and any other expenses like car repair and other expenses but unfortunately they keeping as I said 40 to 60% for no reason. I think the government have to step in .

Shocking

I recently took two trips with an Uber driver, paying with my debit card. After checking my bank they had taken two payments of the first trip and 4 payments of the 2nd trip, the extra payment came to about 80.00. I called them up, but didn’t get any satisfaction, the person I spoke to didn’t seem to know what they were doing and didn’t seem to care, if I asked her anything she said ‘we’re not allowed to give out that information’ all she would say is that they take it out to see if you have enough money in your bank to pay and that it will be refunded, I’m still waiting, I’ll never get an Uber again, absolutely shocking.

Message came up on two attempts 'order can't be completed' Waited to see if confirmation email was delivered. Nothing came through

Ordered from Waitrose with no problem. Email confirmation Received
Now Two Charges have come up on my bank account for Co-op who tried to deliver flowers. Can't find relevant email to complain

Attacked sat in a cab by a Uber driver at peterborough station police are fully aware gentleman was extremely racist towards me attacked me through the window. Clearly Uber dont do background checks. Once the investigation is completed Uber will have serious consequences to answer for.

Gift card a waste of hard earned money

For a Christmas gift my daughter requested an Uber gift card. She is a student so walking back late at night can be daunting. I also bought my son one too.
Both YP decided to use their card. Neither worked. Contacted Uber - who told me that it was not my property. I had spent the money on a gift card! How can that be?
Absolutely no help from Uber. I have basically pissed money down the drain.

Uber Eats

Absoloutely awful experience with UBER EATS. Twice i’ve ordered some food. One, there was a hair in my food. And secondly, food was delivered but the milkshake cup had a crack and spilled everywhere, the waffle desserts looked like they’d been toppled over. It was awful. I contacted Help support, and the assistants kept saying this,

“ We have reviewed your order and the concerns you've raised and came to a conclusion that a refund for the order can't be provided this time. However, your feedback has been recorded and will help to uphold the highest food safety standards”.

They were unable to provide me with a refund despite my clear, photo evidence, my explanation of what had happened. UBER EATS do NOT support customer rights, acknowledge customer’s feelings and actually do something about issues.

What a waste of time, money and left disappointed! I will not purchase anything through them again.

If I could leave a zero star negative…

If I could leave a zero star negative review I would. I was not in a taxi but last Friday at around 3pm in Tadcaster at the junction where the memorial is for a police officer who was murdered and just before the Coors brewery, an Uber taxi driver in a black car thought it was totally acceptable to pull out of this junction hit the side of my car, then drive away without stopping. This is an offence for which said taxi driver could be prosecuted for. Luckily two gentlemen witnessed the accident and provided me with the car details of the taxi. These are being given to the police who will hopefully be paying the taxi driver a visit. I hope they throw the book at him, and he loses his taxi license and livelihood. Obviously this man felt he has right of way at any junction he comes to.
He had a total disregard for any other road users as well as the young children who were leaving the local primary school.
This man is an arrogant individual who deserves anything in the way of justice that comes his way

Uber pet waste of time

So today is mother's day and I booked a Uber pet to go and visit mum with my dog .
The app tells you to set a date a time which I did . Every was fine until the driver arrived to pick us up .

I opened the car door for him to be rude and go NO NO NO .
My reply was what do you mean no ... He says he is a high end car and wouldn't allow my dog to travel even though I ordered the pet service .

So I went on to reply that I would put a complaint in. his reaction was well where would the dog go .
I must mention my dog is a short haired small dog . Not some massive hairy dog .
So I told him he wasn't going in his boot and that my dog would be on my lap . It was literally a short ten minute drive. He told me that I should have messaged him to let him know I had a dog . I was like excuse me I did Uber pet and he picked the job up. There is no t&c to say we have to message the driver he should have already know.

The driver was rude . His customer service was shocking and he has ruined a whole days activities.so cheers for that .
Up until now the service was good but I have lost total respect for this company and I will not use again . Please give your drivers a lesson on customer service because some clearly need it .
I would of given half a star of there was one. Appalling service

I preferred a McDonald’s breakfast at 9am and it came at 10:45 after the Uber courier had sat at the side of the road for over 20 minutes with my order
Yep you guessed it , it was colder than outside .
I contacted Uber who just use bots with copy and paste answers
I will never use Uber again

Uber takes advantage of their customers

Ordered an uber to my destination. I gave the same, clear and concise pick up spot to every driver.
This driver turned up no clue of the area and new to the area, disregards my pick up directions and had been waiting in a location pass my address.
Uber had the cheek to charge me waiting time after I had been the one waiting for the driver who pulled up in a different location.

They are a pure rip off company. I tried to dispute my waiting time and they completely refuse to remove the waiting time charge. Disgusting

Consistently awful, deleted the app


Deleted the app, they are consistently terrible. Last time I had a driver who drove like a maniac, who I suspect was on coke from all the sniffing. This time I book two drop offs, I got this really miserable unfriendly guy. I told him to swap the drop offs around because it's quicker for him, and apparently this constitutes a significant change of route and destination and I was charged an extra £10. Disgusting! It's hardly surprising they have such appalling reviews. Never again!

UBER SHOULD BE CALL UBELIE

The worst thing I've done in my life is work for uber fares stupidly low and riders lie which in turn could get you kicked off the platform something needs to change
Any company could knock uber off the trade completely
All they have to do is pay better and not side with riders only and be fair to both plus these days drivers have dashcam to prove they where right either change or be a thing of the past
Slave labour 🙄 you pay for everything for you to be reward with 5 pound job or 30 to 50 job but have to drive to the middle of nowhere.
If you are smart enough find a better job.

I'm getting increasingly alarmed with…

I'm getting increasingly alarmed with the amount of drivers in Tamworth whom licences are from Wolverhampton! Why do we have somany from Wolverhampton area. I want my drivers to be from Tamworth. I don't trust the drivers and alarmingly they are all non British people. I don't feel safe using uber anymore

Been conned by Uber for the second…

Been conned by Uber for the second time, enough is enough.

Tried to book a taxi and it told me they couldn't find me a ride as no drivers were available - fair enough, I thought, it wasn't too far so I decided to walk. Ten minutes later I got a notification that they'd charged me a £5 cancellation fee, for the ride that they had cancelled.

Tried to dispute this but didn't get around to doing so for a few weeks, and they told me it was outside of their allowed window for disputes, so they just get to steal £5 from me.

Had a similar experience before, and based on these reviews it's not uncommon at all. Awful app coasting by on it's brand recognition. Just download Bolt - no idea if they're any better, but they can't be much worse.
