Tyson made contact with us because we had sought help from UCR some time ago. I found him most helpful and he was quick to get relevant information out to us. He was willing to talk to agents who could give him more time and assistance on our behalf. He spent time assisting me with signing online forms where I needed much of his time too. And we seem to have a good deal on energy as a result.

Acted on behalf of my mum with a fake digital signature to swap our energy supplier causing us a year of stress swapping us from EDF who we were happy with, to an online only based supplier British Gas Lite. They put down all of our details wrong with no address and gave them false meter readings meaning they wouldn't accept our own meter readings, all the while charging us an extortionate rate. We had to get the energy ombudsman involved to sort out our case and it still isn't resolved. A despicable little company whose staff are obviously liars and deceitful individuals.
Avoid these scam artists
Do not use this company I have been locked into a overpriced deal for 3 years and the amount of commission they added onto my bill is extortionate very very dissatisfied customer

This company misrepresented themselves and have a dishonest approach. Do not accept cold calls from this company, although you probably will think you are speaking to british gas. Without agreement they had signed us up to three year energy contract.
We have raised a formal complaint, they have never responded. Legal Action is being taken.

I’ve never come across a sales person like Hannah before. Her persistence and work ethic is praiseworthy. I say so because she has been trying to call me for weeks , I end up calling back but at a time when she is about to end her shift. Without any complaints she stays back for 1 hour to assist me over the phone with my gas meter. I unfortunately didn’t commit to a contract with her that day but she still didn’t give up and we signed up the next day. I had to leave my garage to rush to the mosque due to it being my religious month of fasting. Only to find out she was also observing a fast too. That made me realise that Hannah was speaking to me from her workplace when there was only 1 hour left for the fast to break. If I had kept her on the phone for longer. I can sense that she would’ve happily stayed behind longer and broken her fast at work if necessary, she was already late because of me but not once did she complain or rush. That kind of work ethic is praiseworthy. Putting her work before herself. I never write reviews but I felt this was necessary. If we all had employees like this who would work without looking at the clock and do what’s best for their customer then we would all be flourishing.

DO NOT TAKE CALLS FROM THIS COMPANY! UCR contacted us last November, six months before our current contract was due to lapse, inferred they were from British Gas, bamboozled a junior member of staff with a very fast flowing, confusing telephone call. The UCR representative did not draw breath and made it very difficult for our member of staff to even try to interrupt. He was quite clearly on a mission to get the sale and wasn't going to stop for anything! Sadly we have ended up ties into a contract for three years which will cost our company at least £10,800 in additional charges above current gas prices over the contract term. We have complained to the UIA and they have unfortunately rejected our claim. A tough lesson learned for a small business like ours. Please be very aware!

I was very pleased to deal with an honest company. The industry has many rouge consultants looking to push a hard sale and pressure you into making a decision. We have been burnt by a few of these sharks in the past and are thankful for companies like UCR who are genuine, in particular Jasnit.
Jasnit was a great guy to deal with and made the process very simple throughout.
We agreed multiple contract at the same time and he was very patient and considerate. He also offered plenty of advice along the way.

Further to previous review, 2 emails and request for high level complaints office, no response. No response to confirm cancellation in obligatory cooling off period included in their own terms and conditions, just told previously I can’t cancel. Now I’m being ignored. Shocking practices

Sold to on the phone whilst driving by someone making out they were from British Gas and as soon as I realised, I tried to cancel. The very pushy salesperson refused to let me cancel saying I had agreed and told me to go to OFGEM, very professional. Firstly, The Consumer Contracts Regulations give me the right to cancel a service from the date the contract is concluded (ie the date get an Order Confirmation email) I got this on 8th November, I cancelled on 9th. I intend to take this all the way and I'm sure Ofgem will be delighted to know you just direct people to them to avoid a professional discussion. Disgraceful, unethical and rude pushy agentsQ
