Avoid at all costs. Absolute shambles of a company.

Firstly at the consultation the consultant was late, fine these things happen. Then comes the hard sell, we paid the deposit and she gave us a receipt, then said the next chunk needs to be paid 2 weeks before and £500 on the day, however the date she put on the receipt was incorrect, and we had to correct her.

Then came the problems, we had to change the date which they said was fine as long as it wasn’t within two weeks of surgery . Fine it wasn’t so she said it was booked.

2 weeks before we were about to pay £2200 but we wanted to be sure it was legit so we contacted them via the website and sole with a man. He then said we had to pay the whole lot and that they no longer allowed £500 payments on the day.

This was a clear breach of contract do they agreed to honour it.

The balance was paid and the confirmation was sent a few days later, except the date was wrong ! We booked the Saturday because of having to travel 3 hours away and work and they decided to change it to the Thursday without even consulting us!

When we enquired we were told the beard surgeon was in that day, no apology was given. Bear in mind this was around a week begire surgery!

Anyway we made it work as my husband was desperate for it to be done.
He went to the clinic, was made to pay the final £500 before even seeing a surgeon and the told after back and forth several times they couldn’t do it as he had an infection (foliculitis). He was sent away to get antibiotics, however we have now been told that after trying three lots there’s nothing that can be done as he is on medication that cause it.

We explained this to Ali and have basically been told no refund! So they have £3000 of our money and think it’s acceptable to just steal this . We even suggested forfeiting the £500 as that would have been the cancellation fee but instead we were ignored.

We are now having to go down the small claims route and I will be putting a formal complaint in to the consumer rights department.

Absolutely diabolical service and a complete waste of time and money,

Terrible Experience – Poor Communication and Administrative Issues

My experience with UK Hair Transplants was extremely disappointing and, overall, a terrible experience.

I paid £3,000 in full for a hair transplant procedure scheduled for 5 May 2026. Shortly before the procedure, I was contacted and informed that the date needed to be changed due to an internal scheduling issue involving the surgical team. I was then contacted again and told that the original date would proceed after all.

On the day of the procedure, the surgery was cancelled by the surgeon due to concerns regarding dermatitis in the donor area. I respected the decision at the time and subsequently obtained independent medical opinions from both my GP and another qualified hair transplant surgeon, who advised that my donor area appeared suitable for transplantation.

Following the cancellation, I contacted the clinic to request that the procedure be rescheduled. Unfortunately, I received no response for over a week. After a same-day cancellation of a procedure that had already been paid for in full, I found the lack of communication extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

The whole process was affected by administrative issues, poor communication, and last-minute changes. After considering the overall experience, including the scheduling problems, same-day cancellation, and lack of response afterwards, I lost confidence in proceeding with the clinic and requested a refund.

I was offered a rescheduled procedure but not a refund, and the matter remains unresolved.

Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this clinic. I expected a much higher level of organisation, communication, and professionalism, particularly for a medical procedure that had been paid for in full.

Bad Review for UK Hair Transplants… ( UKHT) Walsall.

Bad Review for UK Hair Transplants (UKHT)
Title: Avoid UKHT – Lost £2,500 and Treated Terribly

I’m posting this to warn anyone considering UK Hair Transplants (UKHT). I paid £2,500 for a procedure that never happened, and the clinic has refused to return my money.

I travelled hours, paid for hotels, and arrived ready for the transplant. Only on the day did they suddenly decide I was “not suitable”, even though they had already medically cleared me and taken full payment. They cancelled the procedure on the spot and then refused a refund for a service they did not provide.

This company has shown zero professionalism, zero accountability, and absolutely no respect for customers. I’ve been left out of pocket and ignored ever since.

If you value your money, your time, and your health, avoid this cowboy company. I don’t want anyone else to go through what I did.
This isnt about the £2500 - i can earn that in 3 days Offshore .Its about the way i was treated.

WARNING

WARNING: BOTCHED HAIR TRANSPLANT – MISLED BY FAKE REVIEWS

I’m sharing my experience so others don’t make the same mistake I did.

From the very beginning, there were red flags. The advisor I was originally dealing with was later sacked for stealing, which immediately made me uneasy.

I only needed a minor hairline procedure as my corners had slightly receded. I chose this clinic based on what I now believe were misleading or fake positive reviews, along with reassurances that Dr Claudia — presented as a top specialist — would perform 90% of the procedure. I also had a very strong donor area, so I was expecting excellent results.

On the day of the procedure, things started fine, but I quickly realised that technicians were carrying out most of the graft implantation, not the doctor as promised. Despite multiple injections, I could still feel pain during parts of the procedure. Toward the end, the doctor briefly stepped in and said she wasn’t happy with one side, then added a few grafts herself — which was worrying.

After the procedure, I did everything possible to get the best outcome. I paid extra for PRP on the day, had several follow-up PRP sessions, and used topical finasteride, minoxidil, and red light therapy.

However, during my 3, 6, and 9-month check-ups, it became clear that once they had my money, the company lost interest. I raised concerns multiple times as my results didn’t seem right, but I was repeatedly told everything was “normal.” Around 7–8 months in, doctors stopped responding to me directly, and I was passed on to advisors instead.

Now, 18 months later, I can confidently say this was a failed and botched transplant. Only about 10% of the hair has remained, and my hair looks worse than before. Even worse, my donor area has been badly damaged, with visible scarring that I haven’t seen in most transplant cases.

I also never received my 12-month review.

I’ve recently been in contact with Aly, who has been somewhat reassuring, and I’m due to be seen — but the damage is already done. My donor area was previously very healthy, and now I can’t even consider a second transplant to fix this.

To make matters worse, my uncle also had a transplant at the same place, and his results were just as bad.

If anyone wants evidence or photos, feel free to contact me.

Close Manchester Branch

I first contacted their Manchester Branch by phone, saying I wanted a hair transplant. They lied "NO" hair transplant carried out in Manchester.

Just wanted to get me into their offices infront of a sales person. Only then I was told I have to go to Birmingham- where the hair surgeons are.

I visited Manchester offices twice - and was told that what I wanted was achievable. But these are just sales people, ( Dont Know ) just want your money. But I gave them all information asked for, including blood results which I had on my phone.

We made an appointment for 19th Dec at 2pm Birmingham. I arrived early at 1.30pm, but they allowed a client who arrived after me. In before me as he only wanted to have his beard repaired.

I didn't see the surgeon till an hour & half later - 3pm, he then looked at my hair. Mainly how much my hair had receeded into the "donor area" at back.

I wanted all the top of my head doing in one go. Had the contract changed from 2000 to 2500 grafts.
They wanted more money. But I said NO already got extra cost of travelling to Birmingham. As well as adding another 3 hours travelling to a 7/8 hour operation.

This was all agreed to in Manchester, as I'm a full time carer for my mum. Had to arrange additional cover until my return.

After looking at my hair in Birmingham ( surgeon not a salesman ) said he would be lucky to get 1200 - 1600 grafts. And the hair I already have, would die off next to the grafts they put it. My hair only has 1 or 2 hairs out of each graft. Instead of 4 or 5 giving much thicker coverage.

It was the surgeon who said "NO" point doing the operation due to a lack of donor grafts.
This should have been told to me in Manchester at the start. Instead of trying to steal business, from Manchedrer down to Birmingham.

Should have at least a surgeon at Manchester who knows what they are talking about and not sales people.

They have still not refunded my money £2K - saying need 28 days to review matter.

There surgeon in Birmingham ( at 4pm ) said he would not do hair transplant as I would have no more hair than I do already. "No review needed".
I left after wasting 5 hours of my day which I want compensation for.

I told them they had till Christmas to return my money or I would write a review on here, warning other future clients. Still heard nothing - but will keep you up to date on here.

"Need to close the Manchester Branch" - or have a trained surgeon there not sales people running things just
( Shit Show )

6 months on - they are still refusing to refund my money. Now taking them to small claims court.
Giving 3 different reasons why they won't refund. When it was their surgeon who refused to do operation. Biggest bunch of cowboys in the industry - been warned ( Avoid at all costs )

Never trust these people

Never trust these people. They don’t have dignity. The people who are consulting initially don’t have a guarantee or assurance of their words. I had a chat with Ms Mariya; she said she is helpless in refunding the money which she forcefully took or asked us to pay for price assurance. We asked for more time for taking a decision, but she was begging for money – at least £20. The last date of procedure cancellation or refund request is Feb 18th. I did let them know about my decision on Feb 10; till this date, 20/03/2025, no action has happened. In between, Ms Mariya forwarded my complaint to her manager, Mr Aly. "Ha ha, what a manager! He was not even bothered about this “.If anyone thinks about the HAIR TRANSPLANT PROCEDURE, I strongly recommend you don’t choose this centre. If someone doesn’t care about their customers after payment, do you think they give you a guarantee on the procedure? One more thing: they are stressing the word while . Consultation is GMC-registered doctors doing procedures. Please understand that GMC registration is basic registration in the UK to practice, like a driving licence for vehicles. They keep repeating this nonsense.
