Near impossible to cancel subscription. Beware Match underhanded tactics to prevent you from cancelling subscription and no way to contact their customer support as you will end up on a doom loop, never getting to write, let alone call them!

Avoid. I am being sent matches from hundreds of miles away and when I asked why was told there is no filter for distance.
Very poor as that would be an easy thing for a digital site to implement.
I believe it to be because there are so few suitable matches they try and trick you into thinking there are more out there.

I looked at match.com, saw all the bad reviews on here and went for Ourtime instead, fully aware I had signed up on 10th October. Today I had a notification from PayPal that payment has been made to Match.com. They seem to be identical to Ourtime with their site, just fifferent name. They have no phone support and email comes right back at you. Steer clear.

I'm very new to Match but it appears to be a very professional organisation, very easy to navigate site, and seems to be very trustworthy. I'll be in a better position to comment further when I've been a member for a longer period of time.

Cancelled the subscription through Apple iTunes (February 2025). They continued to take payments each month. Tried contacting them but was only able to message/email. Never once received a response. Still having issues now getting monies owed to me here in December 2025.

Joined and I was in undated with men refusing to take no for an answer so I cancelled within hours. Eventually got hold of customer service and said I needed to cancel and unsubscribe as I wasn't happy with the site. Also i noticed it said escort which i did not sign upto. Payment came out on 15th then today 22nd I noticed another 19.99 came out if my account which is taking the P### they have no right doing this days after first payment. If I were you I would think twice as they are scamming.

First timer user, good value compared to other sites, lots of fun

Made the huge mistake of signing up for 6 months instalment at £13.99 per month, website full of fakes & scams, tried to cancel within 14days as per terms & conditions but no luck, website run by a bunch of parasites they have your money & they don't care, avoid at all costs, waste of time

Match.com, happy to take your money then make up lots of matches and recommendations that are NOT real.

As a UK male aged 65 I have found it increasingly difficult to meet a long term female partner through conventional circles and I thought that I would give this dating site a try and I joined for a month in November 2025.
Whilst there were (in theory) many women on the dating site around my age and older, I suspect that in reality a substantial number of these women did not have a paid membership and were simply half heartedly "window shopping" and were not able to respond to any messages that I sent to them. I also suspect that many of these profiles were effectively redundant as women have left the dating site and not bothered to remove their profile details.
After one months membership (I have not renewed) I have had to conclude that I found the whole experience rather depressing and whilst I am an optimist by nature I am also a realist and feel that the single life may now lie ahead for me which whilst having many benefits, is not my preferred option.

I am looking for mature men, to have a friendship/love relationship. I chose the six month package, which I will cancel when the time is up. They email me with "The latest recommendations" when I click on a male profile I like the look of, it always comes up with "This profile has been suspended by admin" so I have deduced these profiles are scams to keep you on the site. Don't bother.

Match is an easy to use dating site,my personal experience has been good but not many people local to me. I have enjoyed looking at the many profile and the ones who responded to mine, all have been nice and friendly guys apart from one. This was my look at dating site and I would recommend anyone to have a look at Match. 😊

I would not go anywhere near this company. They do not answer their phone, there is no other contact details and their website is a mess. The only links that do work are the ones connecting you to any matches and Im not sutre if they exist. All the contact links are dissconected, there phone number is dead and their web site is a scam. I cancelled back in October and they still debited my account in November and today they have debited a further £36.00. As I said, I cancelled back in October. they take the money via Pay Pal and trying to get a refund is almost impossible. STAY AWAY. To protect other single persons seriously trying to find a match, I want them to be aware of this so I will be duplicating this review on all the social sites.

I am very disappointed with my experience on Match.com.
After creating my account and paying for a 3-month Diamond subscription, my profile was suddenly closed without any clear explanation. I did not violate any rules, and I only sent a few respectful messages to other members.

Customer support refused to give any details, simply stating the ban was “final,” but still kept the full payment. I received no service for what I paid.

I have used many dating apps in the past, but this is the only one where my account was closed immediately after subscribing, with no transparency and no real assistance from support.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Match.com. I hope they improve their verification process, communication, and especially their handling of paid subscriptions.

Don’t waste your time on this site. Potential matches don’t respond. Any that show an interest are abusive. Scam site. Customer service is useless.

Horrible scammers !!paid special offer for 6 months subscription spread over 3 months . They keep charging me without my knowledge £19.89 a month after 3 months !!5 months after original purchase £60 for 6 months they already charged me £100 and it’s almost impossible to cancel the description!! Subscription with PayPal won’t let you cancel that easily and phone number for match customer service provided there doesn’t exist!!! Number unrecognised!!
Managed to sent them few emails with my complaints and they saying that they charging me for extra features ( nothing extra from day one and the suscribtion is poor as it was at the first day!!AVIOD AT ALL COST !! Managed to cancel with PayPal and match send me email saying I owe them another £60 !!!
In total for 6 months subscription which should be £60 works out it will cost you £160 and there won’t be any email confirmation for this or warning !!

The customers service doesn’t exist and they will send you generated email with ai!!
