I’ve just taken out a mobile phone policy with Protect Your Bubble and, although it’s a bit more than I ideally wanted to pay each month, it still came out as the best option for me overall. What... See more

Worst insurance company Protect bubble
Protect bubble don’t have any professional staff for handling the claims. They are just giving an excuses instead of the real solutions.
My phone was stolen, and I submitted a claim under theft/lost. However, I have noticed that my claim status shows that the device has been repaired and the claim is closed.
This is incorrect, as I have never sent my phone for repair. The device was stolen, not damaged .
And they are not answering any questions now .
My claim has been wrongly closed as ‘repaired’.
This is incorrect — my phone was stolen and I never sent any device for repair.
When and where was my device supposedly repaired?
Who authorised this repair?
What evidence do you have that I sent a device?
Please reopen my claim immediately .
If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will escalate the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Had a brilliant experience getting phone insurance today thanks to Greg. He’s friendly, professional, and clearly enjoys his work. This was my second time speaking with him, and just like before, he handled everything perfectly. Thanks for the great service
Thank you,

Extremely disappointing claim handling – avoid this insurance Company
I had a very poor experience with Protect Your Bubble regarding my phone insurance claim.
I submitted a claim for a lost device and provided all required documents, including proof of purchase, proof of address, identification, and an official proof of usage letter from my network provider (Lebara). This document clearly included my IMEI number, device details, and first and last usage dates.
Lebara confirmed that this is a system-generated document and the only official proof of usage they can provide to any insurance company.
Despite this, my claim was rejected without a clear explanation of what requirement was not met. I made multiple attempts to contact customer support and asked to speak with the complaints team, but each time I was put on hold and told the team was busy. This has been happening repeatedly for over a week with no proper resolution.
I also clarified that my SIM plan expired on 18 March 2026, which is why there was no further usage after that date, and the device was lost on 20 March 2026. This is a normal situation, but it was not properly considered.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to think carefully before taking insurance with this company.
