Pump unfortunately failed after just 2 minutes use. Was picked up, repaired and returned within a week. It appears the impeller failed and was replaced. Will now test it out fully on my allotment plot. Very powerful and produces good out flow through a standard hose. Impressive, yes expensive but fits my needs perfectly, no more hauling watering cans across my allotment.

We use this ryobi pump to be able to effectively water our garden plants with a hose rather than lots of repeat trip to the water buts with a watering can. It has been the missing link to our water capture system with multiple linked water buts hidden behind our home ….. we can now simply roll out the hose & this pole pump does the rest. Can recommend use of this pump as part of a rain water capture and distribution to the plant pots system ….. our many pots are thriving in the hot weather & we have no dramas on hose pipe bans as we are using free water which replenishes itself Really pleased with how this worked out for us !!

Does the job pumping water from ICB tanks around the garden and watering through a hose ...so ordered a second one as back up.Naturally id like something more powerful ..but i do have a very big plot ,garden ,than a normal domestic home ...useful for using in water butts and pump out 200 litres quickly in a domestic garden which ive used .

Good product. Fast transfer of water. The only complaints would be that it doesn’t suck the last 2”’s of water out! It could also do with some kind of fine nozzle to get into smaller spaces! Apart from that it is great.

Very good at transferring water from my water butts to either the garden or another water butt. Pressure generated is sufficient to water the garden but not extend our flexible hoses. Does the job but beware that a charger and battery are needed for it to function. Even so, we do not regret buying it. Definately recommend.

Good. Well worth having. If using it without the debris shield and in something that has grit at the bottom, e.g a rain barrel, the grit can collect within the locks, possibly making them a bit difficult to undo. I would suggest you rinse it off after such use. Otherwise, it's first class.

Not as powerful as the corded Hozelock water butt pump I had (which has ceased operating) but a lot handier to use as it's battery powered and compatible with my other 18V Ryobi tools. Also, given its height, a lot easier to insert into the water butt and connect a hose. Works well with my Karcher pressure washer. All in all, pleased with the item and the delivery.

I received the stick in late January and for the first few weeks it has been really good. However for some reason it has now stopped completely. The response from the customer service team has been slow and not helpful. I am still awaiting answers for my requests to return the goods. A pity because when working it was really useful and easy to use. I have purchased 3 products from Ryobi the first is excellent, the second is definitely so so and now this unreliable machine. It will take some persuading for me to buy another Ryobi product.

I bought this mainly to use with our outdoor pond to control levels and maintenance. Firstly the item has such a high quality and sturdy feel to it. Only used it once so far, but I was so impressed how easy it is to use and the rate of throughput. Definitely recommend this item.
