Batteries last so long can't wait for the bigger amperage ones to arrive on scene. I went from 3 4.0mh batteries when cutting my lawn to two 5.0 mh batteries with plent power left in 2nd one used.

Hello,
Many thanks for your review,
Were sorry to hear that the battery life has not met your expectations.
We will only recommend & provide tools with a certain amp hour battery to try and ensure the most appropriate runtime for the tool and task it is usually used for.
There are many contributing factors as to why battery runtime might be low compared to expectations, if this is significantly lower than the guidance runtime that we provide on our website, then please contact us on uk_ryobi_technical_b2c@tti-emea.com so we can go through a checklist with you and make sure the tool is correctly set-up to provide maximum runtime and performance.
Kind Regards

5.0ah battery is the minimum I'd use. They have strong power and last long enough. I have 3 demanding power tools that use them and I have 5x5.0ah batteries. Excellent.
