Exactly what's needed for a big garden with long, high hedges and bushes that need regular cutting. Manages quite large branches. Reasonable weight, although the energy of the person ran out before the battery. Bought with the special offer when buying a battery making it particularly good value. Only been in use a few weeks, but if it continues to perform well, will deserver five stars.

Hi haven't really had a chance to properly test the pole hedge trimmer because I bought for a discount at end of season I registered it for the 3 year guarantee as in totallI had bought over £300 worth of equipment but the registration process is a knightmare I thought the seriel number and other data would clearly be shown on the invoice I had to open all equipment take photos of seriel number plates and screenshot invoice this process can be made much easier you literally had to jump through hoops the pole hedge trimmer itself looks a good tool it was lighter than my petrol long arm and everything works very nicely but I don't think it will be as powerful as my petrol long arm but have to wait and see when the season starts

Pity there was not enough explanation that as different battery was required. I now now that my selection of battereies that push in are not for it so I paid for a slide in one! If I had been aware that all tools one type of battery no longer applied I would have taken up a cheaper option of buying it with a battery.

Works really well if you have a high hedge. Only concern is the plastic parts. You have to be careful you don't drop the the tool. Cuts the hedge really well.

Having bought this item weeks ago I still cannot use it as no battery pack is available for sale. They have replied to me stating that I should look at the link to purchase a battery pack, but failed to attach a link! How poor a service is that?!

Used for the firdst time on my 10 foot high, 30 foot long holly hedge. I find it heavy to use and at times awkward to guide but it did the job I bought it for so no complaints. Balancing it was probably the most difficult task: I used it with both a 2A and 4A battery but didn't notice any difference; I might purchase the Ergo harness for when I come to cut my other hedges which are much longer. Biggest plus is being able to reach and cut the top of the hedge without venturing up a ladder or standing on a platform, and, of course,being able to use my existing 36V batteries. Certainly recommend but be prepared to exert yourself and develop your uppewr body strength!
