Fast and efficient service posted a…

Fast and efficient service posted a request for bathroom refurbishment and within minutes I had a call from Natalia from customer service and she asked form a time and date which is convenient for me to arrange a site visit to get few quotes in and once done I had 3 fitters lined up now to come and price the job and all of them are very polite, professional and insured. Great way to compare quotes.

5 Star : I have been using their platform for…

I have been using their platform for over a month now and I would like to highly recommend any tradesmen to try them out. Return is great as there is not contract and their account management is top level as your account manager is always there on WhatsApp, call or email to help you. Their platform is easy to use and once you get into the flow its super easy. Keep those hot leads rolling. 5 Star

I wish I had found this company sooner

I wish I had found this company sooner! The workload they supply is great, great detail on the jobs so you know exactly what your quoting for! The customer care is great they fully explain in detail how their system works and how to use it efficiently, always answer the phone to me when ever I need. I think this is a great and unique platform for getting more work flow! Would rate more then 5 stars if I could!

What a complete waste of time

What a complete waste of time. Wanted an architect local to me in Dover, Kent, England. I get offers from companies in London and South Africa. Not very practical for them to visit the property, so it wasted their time and possibly cost them money too. I am now blocking all contact from this company and looking elsewhere..
Even there response to this feedback took 10 months, what more can I say.

Mark, we are sorry to hear you were not happy. The two architectural firms both have local architects available in your region and were interested to help you hence their responses. Unfortunately it seems there were practical issues stopping you and them to proceed.

Please be aware that there is a question regarding requirement for local architect in the form you used. When you made your request you opted NOT to make a local architect a requirement. If you would have ticked this option these two companies would probably not have responded.

Service Start is a great platform to get your old out of date bathroom transformed into a new modern finish.
Vish is a true professional at his job and allocates great people for the job.
I do a lot of work for this company and great company to do work for.

Unfortunately I can't give a Zero Start rating

I am an accountant.
I purchased a lead for a potential client.
I contacted the client. He made it clear to me that he was happy with the service provided by the current accountant but just wanted to make sure that he wasn't paying too muchfor that service.
I was charged for this by Servicestart.
When I complained they said that the client was still looking for an accountant and the advert was still up.
My understanding is that accountants, at least, have largely stopped using this service because of events like this.
When I phoned Servicestart they were completely disinterested to the point of rudeness.
I have read previously that my experience with Servicestart was not exceptional.

RESPONSE TO SERVICESTART

Following on from Servicestart reply
They say "In this particular case the client has stated clearly they were interested in getting quotes and potentially switch accountant. Hence, we have to trust what they state"
I say that I m your client, you trust what I say, I a answerable to my institute for ethical behaviour. When I say that the client told me they were exploring the market to make sure that they weren't overpaying and that they were happy with their accountant you have to trust what I state. You chose not to.
As to the rest of what you say, I have been using your service, on and off, for a very significant time. This time I was returning after a gap of a few years. I know well how to use your service, and the concept of "you win some and lose some" is something I am very famiiar with. However, I will not be used for people purely doing price comparisons and that is something you have previously said you would not allow.
Imay have said, previously, that I was happy with your service. As I said above, it has been a gap of a few years and so I don't know how you know I told a member of your sales team that I was happy.
However, previously I was happy becaue, a number of years ago you were more ethical and refunded the charges of a case under similar circumstances.

Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry to hear that you were not happy with our service.We would like to explain a little what happened and also the background. In this particular case the client has stated clearly they were interested in getting quotes and potentially switch accountant. Hence, we have to trust what they state. No other accountant has complained on this lead.
However, we acknowledge there will be situations that can be “grey-zone” to qualify for our insurance. (we guarantee every lead is current and with working contact details) This is why we recommend using the service with the expectation that you will win some and loose some. You have been using our service over 7 years with an average consumption of 4 leads per year.

You have been advised before that this is not how successful providers with us use the platform. They evaluate our platform based on the value, new revenue or cost of customer acquisition. They compare their total investment cost to the amount of new business acquired through converting leads to customers. Finally they estimate the life-time value of these acquired customers. If using a professional sales process every client to Servicestart should see a big return on their investment. If you fail to do so, even after responding to a few dozen of leads every year the service is not for you. This is also why we don’t apply any binding periods or terms of notice. In light of this we are happy to see we have a record number of accountants using us and the vast majority of these are very successful.

In your own admission you have said to us over the years that you are happy with the service and you have picked up few clients and we have also advised you in the past based on how to use the platform with a right expectations to get the best result.

Excellent way to pick up Clients

I expected to sign up to a service where I had to bid and hope to pick up new clients. Instead I was contacted and advised that for a fixed fee I would directly receive potential clients and was guaranteed my money back if it was unsuccessful. I have already picked up enough work to get my money back and we are only a third through the contracted term. Definitely will be using these guys more.
