Beautiful but tiny
The Good- Clothes are as described, shipping was fast and easy.
The Bad- the sizes are VERY small. I wear a 2XL and the clothes I ordered in that size fit more like a XL or L. I read reviews to see if they fit true to size, and took that into consideration, but they still fit small. If you are plus size, perhaps this isn’t the store for you. I won’t be shopping here again, even though I absolutely love the styles.

I'm truly sorry the fit wasn't what you expected, and I completely understand how frustrating that must feel. What I think may have played a role here is the difference between European and North American sizing standards, they can vary quite significantly, and a 2XL in Canada doesn't always translate directly to a 2XL in European sizing.
To help with this, every single product page on our website includes a detailed size guide with exact measurements in centimetres, so you can find your fit based on your actual measurements rather than the label alone. And if you ever need a hand with that, our customer service team is always available at commandes@toonzshop.com
Plus, we're always happy to guide you personally, share exact garment measurements, or help you figure out which size would work best for you before you order.

Terrible quality
Don’t buy them. I returned them because the quality is worse than things I’ve bought from AliExpress or Shein for much less money. They look like something from a cheap local Chinese bazaar. Very expensive and terrible quality. On top of that, if you don’t want them, not only do you pay for shipping, but you also have to pay for the return yourself, so “trying them out to see how they are” costs you 20 euros. Save yourself the money.

We'd genuinely love to understand what felt off about the quality of the sandals, could you tell us a little more about what specifically didn't meet your expectations? The sandals you purchased are handcrafted in our own small GadoGado workshop, in synthetic leather, and knowing exactly what fell short would help us a lot.
We do want to gently push back on the comparison with AliExpress or Shein, thoug, and not out of defensiveness, but because we think it's an important distinction to make. Those platforms are built on a model of ultra fast fashion, where designs are routinely copied from independent creators (including ours actually) and production relies heavily on the exploitation of workers and resources. What we do is the exact opposite: exclusive designs, artisanal workshops, small production runs, and carefully selected materials. That's precisely why our prices are higher, and we believe that difference matters.
On the return costs, you're right that international returns are at the customer's expense, and we understand that's frustrating. As a very small company, offering free international returns simply isn't something we can sustain, but we do offer several negotiated shipping rates that are significantly cheaper than going directly to your local post office. We try to make the process as affordable as possible within our means.

I am extremely happy with everything I ordered. The dress fits perfectly and is made of a very nice material that doesn’t crease and has an Aztec style pattern in brown on black. I also ordered the mandala necklace and a brown laced up belt which I’m also very happy with. Also I was nicely surprised how quickly it arrived. Everything arriving together in an environmental packaging. Definitely recommend!
