Managed to snag the keyboard at mega reduced which was an absolute steal. Package arrived after around 8 days, which although I didn't realise it was shipping all the way from China was still pretty quick. Loved tracking the little parcel with wings across China and then in the UK. Got plenty of updates on where my keyboard was at in the shipping process, and it arrived perfectly. It works great and the colours match my Deadpool themed gaming setup. Overall a great experience :]

I recently bought my 4th handheld from UKWhatgeek. I was happy as usual with the service. I got updated via email and customer services when my order was shipped. I ordered an Anbernic RG34XX SP and it arrived within a week, once dispatched. I am very pleased with it and would recommend this company to anyone looking for retro hand held devices.

As others have said, the items come from China. Delivery took around a fortnight which was acceptable. I received my console in pristine condition - but noticed that the left and right directions on the D-pad didn't work properly (have to press really hard to get them to respond). Spoke with customer service who attempted trouble shooting but the problem remained. They have arranged for a replacement to be sent out free of charge.

Delivery faster than expected. Item arrived in perfect condition. Price was excellent. Delivery tracking was very good, and the website itself is easy to navigate. I would buy from them again.

Bought two RG40XXV and they are both great loads of games on it, my husband and his friend loves it.

My only problem is despite having UK in the name, my product shipped from China

The delivery took around 2 weeks, but the item was as described + well packaged. The final delivery (within the UK) was fulfilled by Amazon. The price was also competitive (and so, I could live with the longer delivery time). I have used this seller twice now without issue (and would use again).

Very helpful and good service and good shipping

Had a package “delivered” to my front door, an expensive item, not signed for left on my doorstep.
I live on a main road and the item was stolen by the time I get home.

Brought this up to WhatGeek and they offered a replacement but after the 2-3 week wait for the package in the first place I couldn’t be bothered to wait again & decided the risk of it being left again wasn’t worth it. I asked for a refund.

They have basically flat out refused. I instructed my bank to retrieve the money to which they lied and said they had no such correspondence despite the fact I have 15 emails to the contrary.

Now, this has resurfaced after they’ve once again offered a replacement stating their policy and that they offer a replacement only - assumedly to save face after being caught lying red handed by my bank. (29/05/2025)

Unfortunately for them, these laws in the UK exist:
Consumer Rights Act 2015 – Section 28 (Delivery of Goods)
Consumer Rights Act 2015 - Section 62 to 76 (Unfair Terms)
Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 – Regulation 30 (Risk and Delivery)

If they continue down this route I will go even more public with this and push this matter further.

So this is my first time ordering from UK WhatGeek!

I ordered a TrimUI Brick in Black from WhatGeek UK and then had a panic that despite knowing it was coming from China so I was in for a wait, I hadn't researched the company to know if they were trustworthy! I then came here to Trustpilot, saw the middling reviews and realised I may have screwed up a little... Thankfully that was not the case!

I ordered on the 20th May, paid the extra £6.99 for priority processing and shipping, and my order arrived here in the UK from China on 26th May - 6 days total!!

I had a good experience of customer service, where I queried why the status of the order hadn't changed in the first 2 days, but they responded within a 2 hours and informed me where my package was, and then the tracking updated! They estimated 5-10 days left from that point but it arrived much quicker.

My only reason for knocking off 1 star for WhatGeek UK is that A) you could be misled into thinking that they are based in the UK, but they are not, B) the item showed up in a thin padded envelope and could have easily been damaged in transit, but thankfully it wasn't as the TrimUI Brick does have quite robust packaging anyway! WhatGeek UK, please upgrade your packaging when sending items!

Other than that, I have had a good experience with them and can recommend to people buying small handhelds!

The products are great, and such fantastic value for your money, especially when compared to the likes of Amazon, and delivery was fast considering orders are shipped from China. Overall, shopping with WhatGeek was an enjoyable experience, and I will certainly purchase from them again. Therefore, I do highly recommend them to friends and family

thought id be getting a product shipped from the UK as the URL implies but this is an entirely Chinese company. when I realised as I didn't want to pay shipping and customs duty I tried to cancel order before processing (which took a week on its own) which was ignored. tried to dispute and they said they would refund the item (I have this in writing) but then stopped responding to messages at all

the reply below stating they will give a refund is also a lie. they don't know my order number and I have not been contacted about a refund.

Very good company and sorted problem that wasn't there fault but the delivery company who failed to deliver and just left some where. Would use again great customer service

Fast delivery, had a problem with my RG40XX but support were great and solved my issues.

Great handheld console. A ton of games and quick delivery. Tracking was easy to follow and up to date every day. Came with a great case and instructions. My husband has bought one too!
