Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 110 reviews, most reviewers were somewhat happy with their experience overall. Customers frequently praise the staff for being helpful, polite, and professional, often highlighting specific individuals who provided excellent support and clear explanations. Many found the customer service to be responsive and efficient, making them feel at ease and confident about their financial status or resolving their queries effectively. Reviewers often commend the patience and understanding shown by the customer care team when addressing complex problems and providing detailed advice. However, some people were dissatisfied with payment issues, reporting unexpected charges and money being debited from their accounts without clear prior notification. Many customers expressed frustration over what they perceived as hidden subscription charges, often unknowingly signing up for recurring monthly fees after a free trial. Some reviewers also noted issues with the service itself, such as being unable to use it as planned or not receiving clear information about subscription terms.

Scammers

Scammers. I noticed on my Credit Card that I was paying this company £24.95 every month. I have no idea who they are or how they managed to do this. I have no emails from them… nothing. They owe me £174.95 which they have fraudulently taken from me but only offered me £74 … I will be calling them tomorrow to demand my full refund. Please please be careful.
UPDATE: Called today and was told that they had to wait until their manager came into the office… that was at 8:40am.. they promised that the manager would call me today. It’s now 19:40 and no call. I am a vulnerable person and can’t believe I am being treated this way.

Dear Lorraine,

Thank you for confirming your details to Trustpilot, which allowed us to verify your account history.

We are sorry to learn that there was any confusion regarding the creation of an account in your name, our service is a subscription-based model that begins after a free trial period, and in this instance, the account was activated following a successful ID verification process.

We work hard to provide support to all customers as quickly as possible. To ensure complete fairness to all customers, we follow a strict sequential queue system for callback requests.

While you did not make our support team aware of your vulnerable status during the initial callback request, we are pleased that our Customer Service Director was able to speak with you at 9:52 am the following morning.

As a gesture of goodwill, a full refund was agreed and subsequently issued to you, our team also followed up shortly after to ensure you were satisfied with the resolution.

We are here to help and actively encourage you to contact our Customer Support Director who will be happy to provide their continued assistance in relation to the comments you have made within your recent review.

We have discovered that the email address you have submitted within our online application process, differs to the email address you have provided to Trustpilot, in that you have provided an incorrect domain name of gmail.con, and not gmail.com, hence the various emails that were sent to you at the point of the account creation remain undelivered.

Dear Mr.Furlong,

We have asked you to confirm your personal details and email address to Trustpilot so we can verify that you were an active account holder, and that the information you have included within your review accurately reflects your experience, which you have kindly done.

Your review states that you have never spoken to us, used any of our services or even visited our website and that you are a victim of a crime. You have also referred to us as cowboys.

Our system shows that you visited our website on 21st October at 9.51am using a windows-based device, we capture all customers IP addresses and will happily provide this to you directly and to your bank.

In addition to manually completing our online application form and providing your personal details, including your name, address, date of birth and contact details, you also provided and approved the use of your card details through your banks 3DS verification service at the point of application, your bank will no doubt confirm this to be the case if you would please be kind enough to ask them.

The final stage of the signup process is a Knowledge Based Authentication (KBA), this stage requires a customer to verify their identity by answering a series of questions based on their financial history (for example, you have recently taken out a new credit card, what is the name of the card provider, etc) the KBA is operated independently by Transunion, a company with a credit database of 1 billion consumers, operating in 30 countries using 256-bit digital encryption / authentication to ensure only the true customer would be able to pass their comprehensive security checks.

Our system confirms that you, or an individual with full access to your finances over the last six years, successfully completed and passed these checks at the point of application on 21st October 2025 and logged in to access the service and personalised credit file two minutes after registration.

A request was also made when your account was opened to receive details of our smart offers and other membership benefits by email.

We clearly describe who we are, the service we offer, the initial free trial period and subscription costs thereafter at the point of sign up through our website. All customers must positively agree to the terms of our service through a series of tick boxes prior to their application being accepted and processed.

These details are further reiterated within a series of emails that we send to every customer at the very start of their free trial, providing a 14-day window in which to fully use the service and it’s benefits without limitation, and cancel without charge should the service not meet their expectations.

There have been a series of emails sent to the verified email address used at the time of your application, our mail server confirms these have all been delivered yet remain unopened.

You have not made any attempt to contact us directly and allow our customer support team to cancel your unwanted account and politely remind you of the steps that you, or someone with full access to your financial history over the last six years and mobile telephone device in which to verify the 3DS card checks have taken to create an account with us.

It is disappointing that you have instead chosen to post a poor review which we do not feel accurately represents our firm and the processes involved in providing customers with a service they have chosen to use of their own accord.

We would therefore like to invite you to contact our Customer Support manager directly (https://ukcreditratings.com/credit/contact) who will be happy to provide their full assistance in relation to the comments you have made within your recent review and look forward to hearing from you in due course.

Check your facts, you maybe wrong...

I have to commend the patience and customer service of both Joe & Michael on my calls today. I, in error, believed I had not created an account with this company which they agreed to close and refund immediately. As I felt my personal information had been used without my consent, I made a huge deal and insisted they report this to their compliance department. On further investigation, I found I had in fact created the account and had a credit report from them. I believe I may have not read the information correctly on their business page and was genuine in my initial calls. Their graciousness when I called to apologise and advise I had wasted a good 15 minutes of their time was unexpected and very nice of them. I especially apologise to Joe as I gave him a real telling off when actually, the error was all mine. I would recommend them, their customer service skills are very high compared to a lot of companies I use. Thank you.

Dear Guillem,

We have asked you to confirm your personal details and email address to Trustpilot so we can verify that you were an active account holder, and that the information you have included within your review accurately reflects your experience, which you have declined to do.

Based on the username and public profile you have used within your online review, we believe we have managed to locate the account you had recently created.

Our customer support team received an email from you at 8.20pm, an hour after signing up to our service, stating that you mistakenly thought you were making an application directly with Transunion.

Our website and trading names are clearly displayed, making it easy for any customer to distinguish us from other brands or credit information providers, yet despite this, rather than providing us with an opportunity to help correct your mistake, you decided to post a poor review for something that was of your own making.

We responded to your email an hour after our customer service team opened the following day, cancelled your account, and refunded the £1.50 verification charge. A cancellation confirmation email was then sent to you which our mail server shows as being received and opened.

Our system shows that you provided and approved the use of your card details through your banks 3DS verification service at the point of application, and that you successfully completed your Knowledge based authentication by answering a series of questions based on your financial history for the last six years from our Credit bureau partner in order to access your credit report within our online secure portal.

We clearly describe who we are, the service we offer, the initial free trial period and subscription costs thereafter at the point of sign up through our website. All customers must positively agree to the terms of our service through a series of tick boxes prior to their application being accepted and processed.
