Money taken from my credit card when I rejected the payment.

Due to the stress situation I am having at the moment I enter to request the ETA and did not realized that it was not the official website. I saw the cost when I had to approve the credit card and I pressed CANCEL THE TRANSACTION and the money was still taken. I cannot afford to miss this money. Please I need to be refounded. Order number ETA 2308186. How does it work to get the money back. Please reply to me asap.

Avoid this service at all costs.

I was charged around £200 more than the exact same UK ETA application costs on the official government website. There is absolutely no justification for this kind of markup, and the way it’s presented makes it very easy to believe you’re using an official channel.

I even tried to cancel within 20 minutes of applying, but they refused to process the cancellation. That alone says a lot.

This is highly misleading and, in my opinion, takes advantage of people who don’t know better.

Save your money and apply directly through the official UK government site instead.

If you’ve already paid, contact your bank or credit card provider immediately and request a chargeback. I did this myself and was able to get my money back.

Very disappointing experience. I strongly recommend others stay away.

I can confirm this is a genuine experience.

I was charged significantly more than the official UK ETA application fee for a service that can be completed directly through the official government website. Regardless of how you describe “value-added features,” the price difference of around £200 is excessive and not clearly justified.

I also attempted to cancel within 20 minutes of applying, but my request was not processed. That is a key part of my complaint.

As for not being able to locate my details, I suggest you review your records more carefully. I am willing to provide documentation if necessary, but I will not take this conversation off a public platform.

I have already resolved the issue through my bank via a chargeback, which further reflects my experience.

I stand by my review and encourage others to use the official UK government website to avoid unnecessary charges.

NOT AN OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT WEBSITE

€198 processing fee on a charge of €47.80? Found the reason for this. It is NOT AN OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT WEBSITE! So they are charging 198 euros to use an app to apply for you. Just download the official UK ETA app and apply yourself. Just did it. Cost €24 euros total and application approved in 30 seconds.
DO NOT give this website your details.

EDIT: I see some people stating that it simplifies the process. The downloadable app is super simple and it goes through a simple step by step process. I personally wouldnt want this website to process my application as they only requested passport details and name. NOT everything actually required for an official ETA. So the government want photo of passport, scan of your face, additional photo of you etc. So would you trust that when you get to the UK that this companies UK ETA is valid?

Not an official website for UK ETA very expensive

I started filling in the application form on your website. Only at the last screen, I noticed that 277,49 USD was
going to be charged, so aborted the transaction. Surprisingly, I saw the transaction billed anyway. This is fraude, steps are taken to urge for a refund....and to notify the authorities of this scam.

They collect your credit card info and never tell you the price. You put in your application and still no process is displayed. I only found out when I checked my account. They charged me $170. I read online its only $25. This is a rip off. I Iimmediately called and canceled. They refunded me bit it takes 7-10 business days.

It has hidden costs of 100 USD and is not the official website. You can do the same process through the app, going to the gov.uk website, and it only costs around 30USD. I have seen reviews, and probably an AI will answer my comment through this page. Possibly, all good comments are bots; no one likes to pay +100USD for the same process.
