they are scammers! with every sentence the price of the service increases! tried to charge over £450 for a simple lock. Finally after paying cancellation I am still locked outside.

Locked out of property. £49 quoted on line and telephone but final bill inflated to £660 using extortion and intimidation !! I have since been advised they could have got me back in to my house in a couple of minutes without destructive methods using locksmiths tools but instead they drilled the lock and made out the lock casing was broken so it wouldn't double lock. It wasn't I'd double locked it earlier in the day. The price and specification of the parts required were exaggerated many times over the actual price. I don't know how this company is still trading. A subsequent estimate by a reputable local locksmith for the work undertaken by UK Local Locksmith was £200 which included a superior eurolock.

This company has taken money out my mothers account and charged her £400 for just opening the door. She is vulnerable and has dementia . They told her they changed the locks and they certainly haven’t !! Karma catches up eventually . So sad they can do this

I phoned them, they said an engineer will call in 1Hr, the engineer did call and said "I will be with you in 30 mins". I was thinking great service, but 2Hr's had passed and no engineer, I called the office and was told he will be with you soon. At 21:30 still no one!, my first call to them was at 12:30. I called the office again and told them I would find another

I wish I had checked the online reviews before using this company. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing—my rating would be 0 if I could. This company feels like a total scam. I paid £235 for a lock that costs only £65 on the company's own website. I never received a receipt, and they installed the wrong locks, which I never wanted.
They promised a next-day locksmith service to replace the locks, but no one showed up. Victor, the so-called technician, also asked me to make payments into two different accounts, which seemed very shady.
I have reported this to Trading Standards and hope they take action to shut down this fraudulent company. I strongly advise others to avoid their services at all costs.

What a horrendous experience!!!! Got locked in and called these "people". The guy told me £194 before starting opening from the outside and was "ok" with it however then pushed up the price to £776 and that according to him was to replace the mechanism, cylinder and labour. Took him 52 min to do the job. Called my bank to raise a dispute and will be heading to the police to fill a complain about theft! Yes you read it well £776!!!!!!!!!

I called these lot up to come and change my locks in a property I had just moved into. Over the phone i was told £49 for a call out fee and £50 for the locks, and George (the man who fitted the locks) said the same on arrival, plus the cost of labour. This came to £996. Nearly a grand for 2 locks on the door. I called the company to complain, and they said it’s because they have a ‘legal requirement’ to place ‘security locks’. I was charged £189 for an ‘emergency call out’ when I was told it would be £49. Total scammers, seem to take advantage of women and vulnerable people, is what I can gather from reading reviews. I will report to Action Fraud and have also contacted CAB and report to Trading Standards! Be careful!

Dreadful and unscrupulous, informed of one price and then when finished demand £480 for a 15 minute job. Called put at 2100hrs, drilled lock out and replaced lock, scammers and unfortunately who checks out a review prior to booking

We called George out for an emergency window closure. He came out took away the broken part and said he will come back in 2 days to fit the new one. We kept being told that the part is on the way and will be a day or 2. this was the same for the next 4 weeks. George was sent to us by NW4 Hendon Locksmiths. They also are scammers as far as i am concerned and believe that both parties are involved.

Both parties where saying different things and when cofnronted about the stores not making sense they became hostile and aggressive.

Georges company is registered to the following address; Flat 5 89 Brent Street, London, England, NW4 2DY.

We are currently in the process of reporting both companies to the police's fraud department and submitting messages, calls and photos.

Please stay away from them!!!!!

Complete criminals and scammers. Came in and demanded a ridiculous amount of money for opening a locked door. Very aggressive and intimidating behavior.

Complete scammers and criminals. Grossly overcharged me and have damaged my property that I have been informed will cost 3k to fix. They are scammers and intimidating. I am currently engaging with trading standards investigators in Scotland who are building up a case against them for criminal activity. Please do get in touch with trading standards to give a statement if you had fallen victim to this criminal activity. By sounds of things they target women and elderly mostly. Ive also had a simple claims accepted that the company are ignoring.

The CC payment receipt i received was to UK local locksmith but invoice i received by email went to UK local today ltd. Same address in London as noted in other review. Director of company name you can find on gov.uk when google UK local today ltd.

This same man was involved with another scam locksmith company called AM locksmith (can see when you search his name that he was the director for this company too) this company was on watchdog and have been fined 17k. Its on YouTube but cant seem to share the link.

Has anyone found George or his company address. This needs to be closed down. He came out to fix electronic door release for £65 then demanded £500 even though no parts snd there 30 mins. He literally pressed reset. We did some digging and found out how basic it was. They need to be stopped

I called on a Bank Holiday Monday, they came been out within 45min as they said. The guy I didn't catch his name was very patient and talked me through my options (I used the wrong key and got stuck). He managed to get the key out without drilling or grinding anything. He was polite and efficient. Charged £180 but quite frankly I expected a higher price as Bank holiday.

I feel that I have been completely violated this evening. Having locked myself out of my house, my son in law called this company for help. When asking how much it would cost, the reply was £49 and the waiting time would be 30 minutes. After about 50 minutes waiting, two men drew up in a rickety car. I immediately felt uncomfortable and extremely vulnerable as I was on my own and really had no choice but to let these people do the job. They said the front door was “high security and it would cost £368 to change the lock. However if I had a back door it might be less. They climbed over the back gate and checked the back door. They said that would be easier. I agreed to them changing that lock. The main guy, George, was doing all the talking and kept adding more and more costs. In the end he charged £701. I was in no place to argue. I tried to pay with credit card but he said they could only take a debit card and could only take credit cards from a company. He spoke very quickly and was full of the charm, calling me ma’am and putting his hand out to shake. I refused to shake his hand as he left and he tried to ask me why I was upset saying what a good job he had done. I feel stupid. I wish I had turned them away as my instincts had told me. My neighbours would have helped and I should have thought it through more. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I am going to report them to Action Fraud first thing tomorrow. I’m so upset that they have done this to me.

Keys locked in car, evening, outside local supermarket. Rang this Co then had hour to wait and started reading reviews. Was starting to get concerned. The only reason I gave them 4 was I had to wait 2.5 hours due to previous call-out taking longer. Jordan and Michael turned up. Pleasant, quick, and efficient got me in my car and reduced charge due to waiting time.

I have never felt so unsafe dealing with a contractor or locksmith. The individual who attended was aggressive and made me feel incredibly uncomfortable.

When I raised my concerns, the manager called me and was equally hostile.

No one should be treated this way. A business like this should not be allowed to operate.
