Kippax and Temple Newsam are excellent…
Kippax and Temple Newsam are excellent boot camps. The sessions are well led and the members are very welcoming. No 2 sessions are the same and the variety and fun means that you enjoy the sessions and gain strength and fitness. The socials organised by members are also enjoyable and give opportunity to get to know each other.

I recently joined the Bootcamp group in York and it has been one of the most invigorating workout experiences I’ve had! The combination of fresh air, high-energy exercises, and expert coaching makes it stand out from any indoor gym session. The trainers are fantastic at pushing you to your limits while keeping the energy high. They provide modifications for all fitness levels, ensuring everyone gets the most out of the workout. Plus, working out under the open sky, instead of being stuck in a gym, is incredibly refreshing!
Additionally, Sara was very helpful, friendly and patient when I was enquiring about the Bootcamp!
I highly recommend!
Everybody is really friendly
Everybody is really friendly, the instructors are fun, helpful and put effort into giving plenty of variety.

This Bootcamp is fantastic! Great instructors who adapt the workouts/ball games for all abilities and ages. The people are so friendly and we love spending time together whilst working hard to stay fit and active 😁
Fun and varied outdoor exercise
I love exercising outdoors with this bunch! The instructors are friendly, supportive and committed and push you the little bit extra. The members are lovely people. It's a great way to improve fitness rapidly whilst also having fun and making friends.
I’ve seen my fitness improve hugely and I look forward to every session
I joined York in August 2024. I’d been struggling to get back to consistent exercise that I could enjoy after a few years recovering from a back injury.
After 5 months I’ve seen my fitness improve hugely and I look forward to every session (whatever the weather!).
The coaches are all fab in their own way and no session feels the same. There are always options, so when starting out you can work to your ability and then feel smug when a few months later you’re on an option you thought too hard at the start ☺️
I’ve signed up for a year and I’m sure that I’ll be a member of UK Outdoor Fitness for years to come.
And happy 15 year anniversary for 2025! 💪

Fantastic outdoor fitness group, every session is different, friendly people; many have been coming for years (which says a lot!) New members joining all the time and always welcomed. No matter your fitness ability, classes allow for you to do what you can / want to do to everyone’s ability.
Would recommend for beginners to advanced!
Never gets boring!
I’ve been going to UK Outdoor Fitness bootcamps for nearly 15 years! Never gets boring due to the excellent instructors (no 2 sessions are the same) and all the other friendly and supportive members. Can’t recommend it enough 😊

I’ve been going to Outdoor Fitness Bootcamp’s for 6 years. No matter what your fitness level it suits all. The sessions are different every time and range from circuit training, body weight exercises, cardio, running, boxercise, equipment such as kettle bells, resistance bands, hand weights and vipers are used. The instructors always make the sessions interesting and the hour flies. No matter what the weather or time of year it is always good to train outside. Everyone is really friendly, I’ve made some great friends over the years and the instructors are too. Come and give it a go, it will get you fit and feeling good.

I’ve been going to the Farsley sessions for a few years. Every session is different and the coaches help everyone to work at a level appropriate for them. Great to be outside, having fun and keeping fit at the same time.

Lose the gym membership - go to bootcamp instead!
The best way to keep fit! A super motivational and fun environment. The groups are so friendly and relaxed, you'll want to go to all the sessions!

Boot Camp is a great way to get fit at your own pace and meet people with similar goals. Great instructors, variety of activities, a great group of people, very social and some good laughs along the way.

Really welcoming group, supportive, pushes you towards your goals. If you can’t make the location of one class you can go to a different location. Reasonably priced with experience instructors. I’ve been a member for 20 months and it’s been great for my mental health and fitness goals.

Brilliant bootcamp
Bootcamp is a brilliant way to increase fitness, strength and stamina. The sessions are professionally run by dedicated instructors who challenge you but happy to adapt the exercises when needed. There is a great atmosphere- everyone is very friendly and there are always lots of laughs. Great value for money!

Since joining UK Outdoor Fitness in January 2023, I can honestly say my outlook on life has changed for the better. From being around positive, likeminded people and being outdoors (in ALL weathers!)
