Where do I start!
No issues with the quality of the doors themselves.
After paying the deposit for 2 garage doors including fitting, I heard nothing more until I contacted UKrollerdoors more than a week later to ask when they would be fitted. After arranging a date and taking time off work, the fitters did not turn up on the day. It turned out that they had been given the wrong day by UKrollerdoors.
After the doors had been fitted in July 2023, one of them kept opening randomly half way during the night. After a number of discussions with UKrollerdoors, they sent a different fitter to check them (April 2024). He discovered that neither door had been fitted with a magnet, which is a standard fitting, and (really worryingly) neither door had been properly earthed. He earthed the doors and fitted a magnet to the one that had been opening by itself, but not to the second. I was unable to stay until he had finished, so only discovered this after he had gone.
UKRollerdoors confirmed that the second magnet should have been fitted and suggested that I contacted the second fitter to arrange for this to be done. After several messages over a number of months, he has still not agreed a time to come.
As I was getting nowhere with this, I contacted UKrollerdoors in Nov 2024 and have been given the phone number of a third fitter which I can try.
My issue with this is that UKrollerdoors have not taken ownership of getting the remedial work done, but have left it down to me, when I paid them for the doors + fitting 18 months ago!
