Appallingly unreliable. The old analogue TV was never as bad as this. Constant error messages coming up all the time making programmes unwatchable. I wonder what your investors and advertisers think about this; especially when I switch to another service and watch their adverts for different companies.
Your total incompetance makes streaming look like the dawning of the new age of complete rubbish.

OMG - seems UKTV play going down the ITVX road! I love the programmes on this platform but recently have had many problems including resuming them. Advertising not a problem as I realise that funds the programmes but frustrating that it's not what it used to be. (Deleted itvx because it's so rubbish).

UKTV has gone right downhill with regards to their broadcast standards. Most of the content they show on Drama channel is almost un-watchable because the picture is blurred/blocky, zoomed in, and just terrible quality.

They repeat some great shows but sadly let themselves down with the poor output.

UKTV deny that they have problems with the quality of their broadcasts. For this reason I suspect that their technical team are amateurs.

Not loading despite advice . Someone should notify the broadcasting authorities about this. It’s misrepresentation of the worst kind . If this was any other service the general public would have an apology by now and some update on what steps were being taken to put it right

I've given it 3 stars because some of the content is great e.g. 'Mad Men' and 'Brokenwood Mysteries'.

But it's broken - the right words are something like the 'adaptive resolution' tries to feed a 1280x768 picture to an internet connection that only supports 640x384. Hence the repeated ads and sound/video breakup, which I've been battling with for years.

Stupid thing is you can barely notice the difference in the lower resolution. So UKTVPlay, stop trying to get the best resolution possible and focus on a reliable stream instead.

(I've actually had a good experience recently with UKTVPlay by halving the window size and making it x2 zoom again with an Accessibility app. Managed to watch 6 episodes of Mad Men without a problem - that's new)

Probably the most unreliable streaming app. There is great content available but the app continually fails to load your chosen programme. It never has any problems playing adverts but when it comes to programmes you get constant error messages. I tried 4 different programmes this morning and none would load this is becoming a regular occurrence.

Started watching Madam Secretary. Around episode 4, just stopped playing. Managed to restart and play it. Then episodes 9 and 10 both stopped two thirds through. Despite starting both from the beginning multiple times, same thing, stopped and couldn’t resume. Contacted UKTVPlay and asked for advice. Received a reply asking for details of how I was trying to watch, ie Sony Bravia TV, chrome cast and iPhone 13. No reply to this info! Deleted the app and reinstalled it. Just tried to watch episode 11 and same thing has happened again, just stopped half way through. Given up on trying to watch this series - and anything else on UKTVPlay.

Rubbish & unrealiable. Cuts out and then you have to watch adverts again - which it's seems to have NO PROBLEM PLAYING !! ??

Just been watching Attenborough on this channel and the over dubbing is ridiculous you can't here what he is saying when it goes to a video scene! Come on guys sort it out otherwise there is point of broadcasting it

This platform is rubbish plays the adverts perfectly but then content you want comes on error 2 constantly. Refresh watch ten minutes of adverts then 5 minutes into the show once againerror 2.

On the TV app, after the adverts the audio will often cut out, forcing you refresh it and re-watch the adverts.
The picture is very dark.

Terrible site - forces you to watch ads then drops out saying no internet connection. Internet works fine on same device with other apps. You then try again and have to watch the ads again and it crashed again. So you send an email to the address given quoting the error code given and it bounced back. Not worth wasting your time on.

used to be fine, god knows what they are doing. Emailed em that i thought they were scamming advertisers by forcing user to re watch adds. No reply!!

Now they are not transmitting - FFS all I wanted to do was watch Brokenwood Mysteries!!!

Have spent nearly an hour fiddling with this app. Thought it might be the TV, WiFi but iPlayer worked perfectly. As many others have said, this app needs work. Great content, just poor access.

crap. tried to watch an episode bangers n cash after forced to watch ads 1st,then said error code and to retry,tried 3 times no joy i then hit the go back button but forced to watch 3mins of ads again each time before i can see if itd play only to get error code again and again. i gave up.

After going through the verification process just for it to crash and buffing circle to come the second time. This is way I stopped using it last year. So still no better. Very poor service for a steaming service.

JUST WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO CUT THE NUMBER OF ADS PER SHOW.??? IT'S A SHOCKINGLY BAD WAY TO TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS. PEOPLE WILL GIVE UP WATCHING AND THEN WHERE WILL YOUR ADVERTISERS BE?..
