Overwhelming amount of adverts. Sometimes stops mid-scene (not an advert break) and to resume you then have to suffer loads more adverts. Note to advertisers: this does not make me buy anything. The opposite. I deliberately avoid stuff that you're trying to ram down my throat. Very poor.

Completely useless - says am using an 'ad-blocker' when am not and won't play on android phone or pc Can access on my TV but when press play only a blank screen. I uninstalled this a couple of years ago due to its unreliability and thought I'd see if things had improved - actually worse! I have a 1Gb connection and this is the only app/service that fails. I'll just stick with my other streaming services.

Would be a really good channel if it wasn’t for all the adverts. Way too many! I’m fed up with it. I’ll finish what I’m watching then not bother anymore.

Awful awful awful app, the gitchiest app I have ever had tge displeasure to use, freezes constantly, black screen, waste of time tried uninstalling and reinstalling.
Deffo not my WiFi at fault as all other apps on my tablet work just fine!

The episode descriptions are wrong so confusing, there's no tracker to say which episodes you've watched & each time you fast forward you have to watch the ads all over again. Poor.

There's occasionally a programme I'm interested in but, maybe I'm OCD, I hate that everything I've ever watched, even when I've watched it to the end of the credits, remains in my 'Continue Watching' list. Why can this not be edited? This is so basic! Won't be checking in again for the looooongest time - time enough to forget how irritating this flawed feature is.

UKTV used to fine but in the last 3 week has been absolutely unplayable. Keep getting error message 'can't connect to your Internet, please check you are connected to your Internet' bla bla bla...
Yet use Amazon Prime, Netflix or YouTube, surprise surprise there work flawlessly everytime. Bored now so won't be using UKTV app anymore.

Worst ever experience
Tried to watch Dalziel and Pascoe but the link provided did not come up with a prompt for the code as suggested

Great range of programmes. Adverts are timed similar to live tv.

used to be great - now, unfortunately: barely watchable with all issues already described by other one-star reviews.

Programmes are hit 'n' miss whether yo can watch them or not.
Cutsomer service is a joke, it's one spotty part- timer who's job is to keep pressing the 'please clear you cache' key.
Neither use nor ornament.

Been trying to watch this channel for a while now but eventually had to give in. This is probably the worse TV app out there, it will not play any program straight through without stopping and loading error messages. Save yourself the stress and give it a miss.

Every time I try to log in it keeps saying either wrong details for email or password. Changed password still don't like it, phoned the help line and some knob head of a guy started to repeat what I already know. I told him I knew that and he goes let me finish, I told him I'm not stupid just because I'm a women he didn't like that and put the phone down. He had a attitude from the start was really unfriendly and didn't like it when I said I wasn't stupid because I was a women. Some guys like to think women are not intelligent, he came unstuck with me. There is a problem with this and needs addressing what I told him but of course hated me telling him.

UKTV Play is utter rubbish, all we ever get is error playing video, we just dont bother with it anymore, we have tried to contact them in the past nut they dont give a damn, typical BBC

Often can't get past opening credits before everything freezes. Then error message and told to retry. Same thing happens. See a lot of ads though, they all work perfectly. Help centre no help, just tell you to delete cookies, Makes no difference. Will stop warching thus channel. Fed up wasting my time.

It's impossible to watch a programme no matter what size your window is. A useful tip was to reduce the window size and for me it worked for at least 5 mins!! UKTV you really need to respond to these negative reviews and actually get your customers to share their experiences with you so you can see how bad it is....

The routine for signing in to register is appalling.

Have been trying to continue watching Madame secretary for 3 nights and all I keep getting in spite of trying every suggested solution all I get is

Tbe app plays brilliantly on Google TV. Don't understand why there are so many bad reviews. This app rocks!
