The worst phone ever

The haptic system works haphazardly and it open many windows without any user control, it got blocked and didn't react to touching, it crashes out of nowhere 🤯

Fantastic service

I've had 2 Ulefones. The fingerprint sensor failed on my current Armor 17 Pro.
I emailed Ulefone to ask whether I could buy a replacement FP sensor, because my phone was nearly a year out of warranty.
After a couple of helpful messages, I confirmed that I was prepared to try the repair myself, at my own risk, and they have just sent me a new screen(includes the FP sensor) as well as all the seals necessary, clearly identified, and a complete waterproofing membrane.
All free of charge, without fuss.
I am so impressed. Whether this solves my problem or not, my next phone will also be a Ulefone.
What a brilliant service.

My review of the Ulefone Note 13P.

My review of the Ulefone Note 13P.

The phone is well built, and the battery life is great. The display is very decent also. There are some points that really let it down though...

The camera is not good, you cannot take close up photos, it just goes blurry. Even to the point that it cannot read QR codes. I have tried several camera apps on this phone with the same results, so it’s obviously something to do with the actual hardware and/or underlying supporting android OS software that is the issue.

The overall "speed" of the phone is lacking. For example, installing updates from playstore takes ages compared to other phones in our house. I don't mean download speeds; I mean from the point that the updates are downloaded it takes ages to actually install them. I have compared the same updates on other phones and the 13P is considerably slower installing the same updates.

The android OS is stuck at ver11, which isn't great. Since getting the phone years ago Ulefone have only released 1 update for networking on the phone. This fix eventually came to address a severe problem connecting to public wifi SSID's that required users go to an authentication page. Other than that, the software updates for security and performance are non-existent.

If there was an alternative ROM available for this phone from the likes of LineageOS for example, I would definitely try that to see if it gave new life to the hardware and fixed any of the issues I mentioned. Unfortunately, LineageOS does not have a ROM for this model yet. It would be great if Ulefone released an OS update themselves to improve what probably is a phone with decent hardware. Although this phone has good potential and some positive things going for it, the negatives are such I would not recommend it to others.

Uselessfone More Like

I've had and experienced three Ulefone products, two phones and an Armor pad. So I think I'm justified in saying that they are not only slow and difficult to reboot or restart (and you'll have many instances of having to do so) but also have an alarming tendency to freeze and even brick out for miserably ever after (two gone, one left to go). If you are unfortunate enough to have bought one or more of this company's devices, be particularly wary of any of their junk updates which seem to trigger or accelerate these "unfortunate” events. If you are lucky enough not to have experienced the trials and tribulations of owning a Ulefone - DON'T!

Ulefone very highly recommend!

I have nothing but great things to convey regarding the Armor 26 Ultra.
Lives up to its features and specs.
Customer service is a bit slow through their email contact but they do eventually respond.
I'm looking forward to future phones with this manufacturer.

Appaling customer service

I must echo a previous one star review. This company offers zero support if you have any issues post-purchase. Ulefone Note 18 Ultra bought 07/08. SIM tray snapped. Emailed service centre and was simply directed to the Service Centre app on my phone which is useless. Will never buy another ulefone product. Ever. Neither should you.

Addendum added 17/09
The fingerprint scanner hardware has now stopped working. Atrocious stuff. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Addendum added 30/09
Ulefone have agreed to send me a new SIM tray but at a cost of $30!!! Yeah right. I repeat AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Never Purchase Here

I bought a phone, it was defective, I wrote to all support services at once, I waited for a response for 6 months, the response killed me: completely irrelevant, I wrote again, they answered immediately, asked for information and details about the purchase, they said yes, we agree that the phone is defective and that it needs to be replaced and that's all the conversations ended, if you bought a device from them and it is defective, you will never return either the money or another phone.

Dont buy Ulephone, no support!

I recently bought a Ulephone Armour 22. I am in South Africa and live a fair distance from Johannesburg, too far to drive to return a phone. I've only had it a month and it does work, so far. However the nearest "support" center is RuggedSA in JHB. When I got it it had a balloon that appeared at the bottom of the screen over the key pad (if you were using it) confirming your last command, or "Call ended" whatever, bottom line you couldn't see the keyboard to type, couldn't swipe or tap it away, it just stayed there. I contacted RuggedSA by phone and their "support" told me it was an android issue and that "I wanted my Ulephone to be like my Samsung". I couldn't accept that the android developers would allow this, so I sent emails to them and they said they had "escalated" the issue. A week later still no reply, so I emailed again, no reply. Then I phoned and asked for the MD and was put through to supposedly the 2IC, he promised to come back to me and never did. I phoned again, and again was put through to management, again a promise and again no followup. Eventually with Google I found the solution to the problem. It was a setting that didn't appear in the settings menu but when you searched for it it appeared. It was set to 2 minutes, I deactivated it and problem solved. I then sent the link to RuggedSA advising them that I had solved the problem and after all that they replied "Glad your phone is working now". No apology as to how I was treated, no thanks for solving the problem that they couldn't, just have a nice day! I should have spent the extra money and bought another Samsung, at least they have support centers everywhere and their support knows what they are doing! Buy Ulephone and be prepared for stress!

Great service under warranty

I had a warranty issue with my phone (Power Armor 14 pro) I was a bit worried about sending my phone to China ( I'm in Australia) They notified me on the phones arrival and updated me on it's progress. It was returned very quickly with the issue fully resolved , they even replaced my screen protector. Ten out of ten very happy with the service. This is my third Ulefone and it's the first time I've had a problem

My phone was mounted to a motorcycle

My phone was mounted to a motorcycle, the speed was locked to 100KM/H and that was my riding speed when my phone dismounted from the frame and fell on to the road I used both breaks to stop immediately and for the first time in my life experienced steering wobble. I fell with around 30km/h off my bike and found my phone in perfect condition with minor but visible scratches on the surface. That speed and I saw my phone tumblering on highway behind me in every corner it had it hit extrfemely hard on the road. If you dont believe me now I can show you photos of my phone. If it survive that, it survive many things. Perfect !! I am so shocked by the durability of stupid plastic that is on the cover.. Thats NOT plastic.. I dont know what it is, but it is SICK tough!!

Ulefone Has Great items

Ulefone Has Great items, I have Quite a few Items of theirs. Problem is AliExpress/Seller. But I warn you, Cheap items, you get pretty quick, If it's anything pricey, GOOD LUCK. Every issue I've had has been anything over a a few hundred USD. For example,my latest issue, I ordered the Ulefone Armor Pad 3 Pro kit with the Speaker, I have yet to receive my Armor Pad 3 Pro. Delivery date was for June 17, it's July 22, NO tablet, AliExpress supposedly has a Refund policy if not delivered in a certain time frame. But AliExpress refuses to stand by their Buyers protection refund policy. They keep F-in around and have been back and forth for WEEKS saying the same crap. Item is saying Released from customs On June 10th, and has not had an update yet. AliExpress refuses to stand by the issue. Don't write a policy if you can not stand by it. It's well past your policy dates for the refund, I've waisted over $300 now for AliExpress to basically steal my Money. As of July 22nd, I STILL DO NOT HAVE A TABLET OR A REFUND OR ANYTHING. At the very least Send another tablet from a US WEARHOUSE. I ABSOLUTELY will not do business with them again.
Order date: June 4
Guaranteed delivery by June 17th
Refund process eligibility start June 22nd
It is now July 22nd and NOTHING.

Armor 22 great but service by Ulefone is crap

I have the Armor 22, and works great everything works fine, but the phone is fallen directly on the fingerprint sensor and that is dead now.

So I contacted Ulefone directly per E-mail, they tried to help to reset the phone and all this, but finally they told me to send in to the nearest service so they asked where I live...... sent them the info back, but after this never heard again from them.

So one thing the phone is not bad, but when you want a rugged phone that have real service behind it don't buy Chinese phones. Buy some makes from Japan or US.

Ohh one thing after a year usage the phone is slower and slower the Android 13 on this phone is a worthless crap, don't buy this phone better say don't buy from this company.

I do not have a Ulefone

I do not have a Ulefone, which might be better the same.
I asked some simple pre-purchase questions, but when they actually replied, they twisted the answer to what I was not even asking. And that is when I actually got a reply.
If it is so hard to answer simple pre-purchase questions, it is a company I will stay far away from, as I doubt their products are worthwhile. And I suggest you do the same.

What is it with these Chinese phone…

What is it with these Chinese phone companies, they are over you when you buy there phones, yet when something goes wrong they don't want to know you, I have the armour 18T and when downloaded the latest update supposedly to fix minor bugs, but instead it puts bugs on your phone, the notification screen jumps, and on contacting them they ask which update you have just downloaded, which you can't do because the upload info disappears after you download it, now I don't get any replies, I suppose they get your money and don't care after, I read that they don't have a good star rating not surprised, if this is how they treat there customers.
Beware if you buy, or think of buying one.

2 ulefones.

Have owned 2 ulefones, armour 9 + 18. 9 stopped charging after a year and the 18 now seems to be playing up one year in. Customer service is useless, completely useless! Would like to send my 9 to be looked at but can't find anywhere in the UK to do this.
Camera not as good as advertised on the 18 either.
Will look elsewhere before trying ulefone next time.

Very fragile Ulefone Armor 19 case but userfriendly company

I owned an excellent Ulefone Armor 9e rugged phone, that I liked a lot and which was unfortunately stolen. I replaced it with an Armor 19, whose design I like less, but which is more powerful overall. The optional Armor 9 shell was very sturdy. But I strongly advise against purchasing the optional shell of the Armor 19, because after 8 months, without having yet been taken on a trip, and even having left the apartment, the top broke. Update: nevertheless, I wrote the story to Ulefone and they sent me a replacement case. Not every company is so honorable.

I am on my second Ulefone product

I am on my second Ulefone product, an Armour Power 13. It has always had its faults but I decided to hang in there. Now after 18 months and getting no customer support from Ulefone, it's time to consign this phone to the bin. The concept of a large battery had some appeal. The complete absence of any support, updates or security patches from Ulefone has become an issue for me. If you're lucky enough for your phone to function, then great. Ulefone could be so much better if they just remembered that their customers pay their wages and helped you once in a while.

Ulefone Armor 24

Armor 24. What a device! Haha, it's crazy.

Best and worst thing: You can use the phone itself as a weapon. ;)

But the device is marvelous. Fun, fast, and even though the weight, it feels perfect in your hand.

It's a before-and-after phone. You can't imagine having a phone with a lighter battery or be without the gadgets it offers.

A phone for real people.

Ulefone Power 5, 5 years old.

I bought this Ulefone Power 5 in 2019, now in its 5th year the battery 13,000 mAh isn't as strong as it used to be. I bought a Fossibot rugged tablet as my phone still works fine as a phone, the Fossibot battery 22,000 mAh doesn't last any longer, so that's going back.
I should have bought the Ulefone tablet and will as soon as I get a refund.
Ulefone has kept me going for five years and thankfully is still working. I just wish they'd continued the Power series as I have no requirement for ruggedness. Unfortunately, all manufacturers are now obsessed with ruggedness as if they expect we all live in tents year round.
