Helpful customer service team

I orders items for gifts, and the courier left the parcel unattended and it went missing.
The carrier was being very difficult so I reached out to Ulster Weavers customer services and received prompt and helpful attention.
I love the products as well, the dog themed items we're loved by the recipient.
Will buy from you again. Thank you

Never received my order

Ordered 2 costly items over 4 weeks ago, no sign of them only emails asking me to review item. Customer service appalling. Will not follow up and no help at all . Terrible experience very disappointing would not recommend

Dreadful customer service.

I bought a duvet cover on the 18th Feb 2026, £100, sent it back , have a receipt from post office, colour was not as advertised, Still no refund, they cannot find it in there warehouse. Dreadful customer service. Stay away.

Terrible

Bought curtains from this company thinking they are a reputable Irish company. The curtains came with out curtain hooks and I have to make the pleat of the curtains myself. Definitely not ready to hang.

Major delays in receiving goods.

Ordered items on Nov 26 as Christmas gifts..and then waited and waited. Dealing with customer service was frustrating as they continually said the same rehearsed lines - items were with Evri and no updates were visible etc etc..the package apparently sat in the UK for over two weeks somewhere - in customs , in evri ... Unclear.
Eventually, having had to go out to buy other items for Christmas gifts, the items arrived on Dec 23.. To be fair, they were very nice quality but some were made in China (seems a bit misleading given the company's name). I have previously ordered from Ulster Weavers but given this last experience I probably won't order again from them. And there's no point in UW blaming the courier -- it's obvious that this courier is not working out, and has been so for a long time ( look at your reviews!), so company should change their courier!

Poor Quality Products and No Customer Service

No response from Customer Services to several emails I sent asking how to return the faulty (warped) placemats I ordered. Can't find a contact number for them. Having read other reviews I now realise this is not unusual for this company so will avoid in future.

JOKE

There are not enough choice words in Thesaurus to replace 'joke' or 'AI' or 'warehouse'.

I ordered a tea cosy as a Christmas gift on 29.11.25 and progressed it on 2.12.25 having received no notifications. I received a cut and paste reply from the 'emergency response book of how to delay a customer' on 3.12.25 quoting 'an unprecedented surge in demand' excuse quoting a 48-72 hrs delay in delivery.

8.12.25 still no tea cosy so I fired off another progress pointing out if a company has a surge in demand then that should be declared on their website shopping page AND they should reach out to the customer to explain; not the other way around. I also pointed out that as of 8.12.25 there is in fact a delay of 216 hours (9 days).

Nothing. I received a reply on 9.12.25 stating the package had been delivered on 8.12.25 by EVRI; well that is a sentence of doom right there and then.

I organised a 'search and rescue' and found the plastic bag perched up against a Christmas Box (how apt) bush by a wall. The tea cosy was literally plonked in the plastic bag, no protection, no tissue paper, no thank you card, no care, no pride, no order acknowledgement; clearly AI can't wrap items and there was no tissue paper in the warehouse.

I thought I was supporting a local Irish family business, picturing a load of skilled wifey's dutifully making products in pride. JOKE. You can get this product on Dunelm or Amazon cheaper and quicker; I WISH I HAD KNOWN THAT AND READ THESE REVIEWS PRIOR.

22.12.25 I got an email asking if I received the parcel. JOKE. 29.12.25 I got an email asking me to leave a review. SURE HERE IT IS, ENJOY!!

Doesn’t deserve even 1 star!

I wish I could give 0 stars as this is the rating I think this company truly deserves after reading the experiences of others below and comparing to my own. I ordered several items on 7 Dec for Christmas, again thinking this was a nice reputable Northern Irish Company. I have not received the items. I am in contact with their customer service by email but the responses take ages. I’ll be raising a refund request with my Bank having read these reviews.

I ordered items from Ulster Weavers in…

I ordered items from Ulster Weavers in November, some of which were intended as Christmas presents. The delivery has taken an extremely long time, and I then received an email stating the order had been delivered when it clearly has not been.

I have contacted the delivery company, who are still investigating, but this has taken several days. I have also contacted Ulster Weavers, who say they are “looking into it”, but communication has been very difficult. Finding a contact email was frustrating, as the page provided resulted in a 404 error, there is no phone number listed, and contact details are hard to locate.

I eventually contacted their marketing department just to get a response, but this appeared to be a standard template reply rather than anything helpful or reassuring.

At the time of writing, I still don’t know whether the items will arrive, whether a replacement will be sent, or what will happen next — particularly concerning as the items are now out of stock.

This has been a very stressful experience at Christmas, when finances are already stretched and time is limited. The lack of clear communication, slow resolution, and difficulty contacting customer services has made this a very disappointing experience.

Do not order from this company

Do not order from this company they sent me tracking orders and a confirmation that the goods had been delivered when I emailed they admitted it had never been packed and was getting packed now still haven't received the items ordered and now have to chase my refund through the bank

Goods never delivered

Goods never delivered. No ability to contact them by phone. Emailed twice. No response.Got an email asking me to rate my experience and the link didn't work. Asked me to contact their "customer care" department but no link was provided Goods now somewhere, on which import duty to Germany (from Northern Ireland ) was paid and we seem to have no recourse. Appalling service

Very bad experience

Very bad experience. The order never arrived, because the UPS employee was not able to find the address ! Moreover, I learnt from another customer that if the delivery could have been made, I'd have to pay the UPS a so called custom duty which is in fact an additional delivery fee, which is absolutely dishonest, giving the fact that UW already charges the customer EUR 14,95 for shipping when ordering! As I did not receive my parcel, I could eventually get a refund of the purchase from UW, but not of the shipping fee which is deplorable! Never again !

Wish i had read the reviews

Wish i had read the reviews. Ordered tote bags two weeks ago. Got an email saying not enough stock not refunded yet. Just remembered i haven’t been refunded two weeks later. Emailed them not heard back yet but very poor processing. Why were the items on the website if not in stock? Ordered two more tote bags before realising this for black friday. Thought this was a nice personable Northern Irish Company, reading now it’s not. Will avoid from now on if i even get a refund or the other totes delivered.

I would give 0 stars! I purchased curtains and bedding set. 2 days later heard nothing, item not processed showing as unfulfilled. Requested cancellation as found much cheaper and next day on amazon same product. 1 week later items arrived dispatched 3 days after my cancellation. They refused to cover cost of return! They should not have sent it out. They lied about informing me, sent a fake "email proof" I did not recieve any email and date of said email was 2 days after posting product anyway. After several emails I returned item at my expense! Now they are refusing to refund stating not recieved items despite proof of postage. So they have goods and my money. Currently going through CC company and will take to small claims if necessary. I have proof recieved at their warehouse. Liars and customer service is disgusting. DO NOT BUY 2/3RDS CHEAPER ON AMAZON

The Very Definition of "Poor Customer Experience"

If I could give zero stars, I would. Ulster Weavers has to be the worst example of an online experience in the entire world. I bought one of their pet bags 3 years ago in Maine. I wanted another one for our new puppy; searched online and found their website. It was bad enough they charged me a $35USD shipping fee for the bag (plastic bag, not leather) and a couple of pot holders. I got home from work yesterday and found a UPS sticker on the front door stating I owed more than $100USD for customs fees. I contacted Ulster Weavers - they said "Oh - you didn't click here and read about our international customs fees". Then they *lied* and cheated me triple the fees. Their *own website* indicated I would be charged by the kg; according to UPS the package weighed 2.02kg. Ulster Weavers instead charged me for a *15kg package*. I requested a refund and said I would decline the package. My requests went ignored by Ulster customer support. And to add the final insult, Ulster Weavers requires the *customer* pay all shipping and return charges for any "change of mind" returns. From the US that's ANOTHER $100+! How this company is still in business is beyond me. They clearly do not know the definition of "customer experience". I will never, ever recommend them to anyone, despite how cute their pet merchandise is. Shoppers, you've been warned: STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS! They are crooks and not customer focused!

This company's customer service is…

This company's customer service is pants. I ordered stuff on 21 May 2025 from them, and am still waiting to hear from them more than two weeks later. Evri confirmed their driver had not been in the location when the parcel was delivered to a post office on a busy A-road, long after closure of the building, at 8pm one night. Evri acknowledged their responsibility and said the parcel was lost. I have written to Ulster Weavers asking for them to sort this out and refund me but have heard nothing. There is no phone number and no email address on their contact info. What do you do in a situation like this? I have written multiple times with no response.

PS, they finally have contacted me weeks later and offered another parcel with the same goods which was sent by Royal Mail and arrived the following day. However, this was long after my repeated attempts to contact them, and no apology was offered about this.

I would give them NO Stars if it was an option!

I purchased several items from their website...NOWHERE on their website did it state that I was ordering from another Country (the prices were listed in US Dollars) NOR did they state that they would be shipping my order (THAT I ALREADY PAID FOR IN FULL INCLUDING SHIPPING) that they would be shipping it via "Cash On Delivery"!! The COD price (which I am guessing is additional shipping charges...and I am guessing because NO ONE contacted me in advance to explain the extra charges or noted it on my order!!) is MORE than the total of the order that I had already paid for!! EXTREMELY shoddy, slimy feeling practice! I emailed them but have not even received a response!! DON'T BUY FROM THEM!!

Extremely poor service

Extremely poor service - avoid if you don’t want hassle! One item in my order was missing, there was no note to say it was to follow or was out of stock, nothing. I emailed them and after 5 days no reply. Used contact form, no reply. They have no phone number! Fortunately the missing item was only £5 so not a huge loss, but it’s the principle, an appalling way of doing business. Suggest you avoid as there seem to be plenty of reviews like this.
