UltraVPN took 89.99 out of my account without telling me they were. I asked for a refund they said yes and I would get my money back in 5 to 10 business days, This is now14 business days, and no refund and no response to my e-mails. I would not give them any stars but you must give at least one to write a review.

They unlawfully took money from my account and denied that they had. I then had to send emails as well as screen shots to prove it was them. They then promised me a refund in 5 -10 days. Nearly two weeks later no refund and they have stopped replying to my emails. They think by being quite I will forget that they stole money from my account. - STAY AWAY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD:

Ultravpn customer service terrible I tried to sign in using firestick and kept getting an error message about secure channel failure. I contacted ultra several time and they had no idea of what i was talking about. i tried comcast and firestick and firestick told me that ultravpn and firestick no longer support each other.why didnt ultravpn just tell their customers that instead of making me run around in circles when asked for a refund for the year service told me i should have canceled in the first 30 days it worked fine til this month,so why would i cancel

Horrible customer service. I requested a refund on April 14 which was granted. I have the email. Here it is May 17 and I still for not have the refund.. I've reached out countless times to resolve this and no one will give me the courtesy of responding back.

Awful. Paid £20ish for a year. Says on the account then rolls onto a monthly £7.99. They took £107 in 1 go without my permission replied to my email asking for refund saying would I reconsider, when I said no they have ignored every email since.
Taking legal action. Avoid at all costs
Had their services on a trial basis a year ago, cancelled it after about a month, A year later find they are trying to charge me 89.99 when I only paid 9.99 for a trial a year ago. Disputing with Paypal now as I did not approve it, nor did I have any reoccuring subscriptions in Paypal. They just outright charged me without permission.
Update: They offered a refund for this month and cancelled my subscription and told me to buy a new one with their promotional offer, and then I will get the discount from now on. But they refuse to admit that I was overcharged, so how am I supposed to know if they won't do it again. Stay away everyone!

I'm happy with their servers, but I'm really annoyed with the payments. They changed the price for my subscription even tho it still says the old price on the website. I sent them this mail just now:
"Why am I suddenly paying 116 NOK (13,66$) a month? I asked about it recently but you said it had with the currency to do. But I don't believe that's true. I always used to pay around 85 NOK (10$) until February when it suddenly changed. On your website it says the price is 8.99$ tho.. And right now it says 6.99$. I want the money back for the 3 months I've been overcharged and I want to get the right price from now on."
Hopefully they will fix it. If not I will find another vpn and I recommend everyone to do the same.
So often, when the downloading is very slow, I turn Ultra VPN off and get a 9x speed increase. Can't wait until my contract expires.
The worst. They ruined my relationship with Fidelity, couldn't invest for a year. Cancelled and finally got ok a few weeks ago. But today they just tried to hit my card for another annual sub. I cancelled after a month! Now my card is ruined and the money is locked up. Thanks for nothing dirt bags.
Avoid. The service slows your connections and doesn’t work with many browsers and media subscriptions. When you try to cancel they muck you about. Then they continue to take payments from your card even after cancellation and mess you about for a refund. This company is awful.
UltraVPN is FRAUD!
Reasons:
The money back promise is a strict lie. When you try to cancel within 30 days trial period they will send you in circles. I needed to initiate a chargeback via my credit card company to get my money back. This took me many hours of effort.
However they finally were willing to give me the refund (after the chargeback and this post) but it was too late by then.
Also: UltraVPN does not work for Amazon Prime and also does not have Apps for smart TVs.
Recommendation: Don't buy UltraVPN!
It works okay. I don't have issues with speed, but most times when I have it on it won't let me send emails. I send a lot of emails so it's really annoying. Also, sometimes it just won't let me google search.
These problems are solved turning off and back on, so if that's not a problem for you, this VPN works at a really great price. However, I don't think I will be getting an additional month
This is a horrid VPN. By far the worst out of the top 7 I have tested over the past 3 weeks.
