Umai is my favorite clothing store, been a long time customer.
But recently it feels like they have been dropping in quality.
Can help but be a little bit disappointed when I order now a days.
Art is still amazing, but the actual quality in print seams way off.
Over all if you like there best sellers you can’t go wrong, had some of them for two years and they a still soft and no issues with the art.
Just be careful with there newer releases

This was the first online shop that I've purchased online from. These guys consistently put out great designs on good quality clothing. Their customer service is impeccable, and they will help you as best as they can and I truly appreciate them. I hope their shop stays up for years to come

The clothes are very comfy and the designs are all amazing however, my small problem is that the prices are a little high at time BUT they have a lot of sales going on throughout the year which makes the clothes a lot more affordable which I appreciate so much.

I Liked the older designs, when there was a whole category for "001" specific designs. I liked the Wardens design and Current design specifically.
The hoodie for the Wardens ran a little smaller than expected, I got a medium and it's a tight fit. For reference I'm 5' 6" 115lbs. Would buy more of similar designs, but newer ones coming out aren't of the same theme I'm looking for.

I have about 40 shirts from this company more or less, the quality of the prints are really nice and the materials is thin but not weak and even after a year or so the prints have yet to flake after dozen of washes. It’s worth your time or at least to give them a try.

Customer support is extremely kind and responsive, and vouch highly for every experience I've had with them.
Umai has lovely clothing but in my opinion, the prints are somewhat... weak? I have a few shirts where they'd started to peel (after some time albeit) and it's unfortunate because I like those shirts. It just feels like I have to be too careful when washing them and it feels like a chore that I'd really not deal with. The t-shirts are always decent quality, but I wouldn't be able tell which type it is (for the most part) but I think this is more of a issue with communication. If I could, I think I would've rated a 3.5/5 Purely because of the print quality (They look fine, but like I said, feel somewhat fragile) and somewhat inconsistent shirt material.

Umai is a pretty good clothing brand. A lot of other reviews say something like "shady business practices" which I think is just false. They've been nothing but great business wise to me. The shirts are thin which I like, I love the way they feel and the print while not amazing quality is still pretty good, I've had some of the first shirts they ever sold still and when following washing instructions I have yet to see any major faults in the print. The Umai+ thing and prices though are what keep me from a 5 star. A subscription to buy some clothes is frankly stupid, and the % off is barely worth it. The price of usual clothes too is a little to expensive for me on the norm, I only buy from Umai when they're on sale/having a deal on some items. All in all though: Good shirts, Good business, Pricey.

Good quality clothes, many of the designs are very interesting and I enjoy them a lot. I wear my sweatshirt indoors most of the time. I would highly recommend the stickers, I don’t use them I just collect and I think their pretty nice if you can get them at a deal. Overall a cool place to get clothes but I just don’t shop that much, I’ll maybe get a shirt once a year.

While others have reported otherwise, I find the shirts to have good quality prints, better then many other online shirt companies. The shirts are thin, which I personally love but I understand not everyone does and they really are overpriced without a BOGO sale. Several designs are also locked behind their club's paywall, which I have no interested in paying for and therefore don't buy as many shirts I otherwise would. Items always arrive as described and I'm happy with the 6 or so shirts I've gotten throughout the last year so 4 Stars.

Let me start by saying, I wasn’t going to write a review because frankly I don’t have many good things to say. But after being pestered for months after my order and even unsubscribing from emails and still being asked to review I will share my thoughts.

Firstly, the designs are incredible. Truly great artwork and you can tell a lot of time and effort goes into each and every one. However, I was extremely disappointed by the fabric quality. I ordered 3 shirts all of which were inconsistent in quality and size. The best one I got was a heavyweight shirt but even then it doesn’t compare in the slightest to even the cheaper streetwear brands here in NZ. The print quality is also very average and unfortunately, it shows. The embroidery was the same if not a little better. It was well done but still had loose threads.

If you really like a design maybe try getting it in print/poster form but otherwise don’t bother with Umai until they increase the quality of their fabrics at least. Sorry to write such a negative review but this was my experience.

Everything from the t-shirt blank to the print quality is genuinely horrible.

I’ve been using Umai white shirts as undershirts for my EMS uniform. The earlier shirt prints washed out really bad and the texture was kinda rough. Their newer shirts are way softer and the prints have been staying even with blood on them. I own a good bit of the shirts and they don’t shrink to badly in the wash either.

Umai clothing has some of the freshest t-shirts and other staple outfit pieces. I love watching anime either with a friend or alone on my free time and I've grown to love the anime art style. The designers have done a great job combining their talents with tees that I'd love to fill my cart with. Tell your friends about them, you'll thank me!

Very good clothing company, they respond relatively quickly whether it be via email or Instagram. Clothing is decently priced, and the shirts don't feel cheap. I'm glad they are exploring with new and very different designs. But sometimes I wish they would stick to their original, earlier designs such as the ghastly shirts, Owl, Akia, Hazy. Or bring those similar designs back that really got umai started. I feel like they ventured away from that style and I would like to see them use it more while also continuing to drop new things.

I buy from here rather frequently, and haven’t had a remotely bad experience with UmaiClothing since way back in like 2019, love to see them constantly improving print quality, designs, and the shop, no complaints.

Everything I’ve ordered has been great quality. I’ve ordered multiple shirts, sweaters, phone cases, and even a mat that I use for my computer desk. No complaints so far and I always look forward to what comes out next not to mention around seasons where they have unique lines every time they come around. Sure there is FOMO for when something you like comes around and you can’t buy it and yeah they do have Umai+ to alleviate the issue, but how many brands have limited runs of a line and never resell them again or only come back every once in a while? At least with Umai+ you can earn store credit every month to get some free stuff as part of being a member, you essentially get the $10 back to use on the store anyway so it’s not so bad to get Umai+. And you get access to every limited run item to order at anytime, not saying you need to have Umai+ at all time because I know it would just be another subscription to add onto your list. But at least consider it every once in a while when shopping since you get free shipping and twenty percent off its kind of worth in my opinion for a few shirts, stickers, phone cases, etc. every once in a while.

Great designs, but the print quality needs serious improvement. Would rather pay a higher price and get a print that lasts!
