I pre ordered D4vd's petals to thorns…

I pre ordered D4vd's petals to thorns vinyl on Monday, June 5, 2023 , and so I waited for a delivery confirmation email but it never arrived so I checked the delivery time in Europe and it said "Up to 10 working days" but 20 days passed so I sent them an email to get any news and they said word to word

"I’m afraid we are still awaiting delivery of the Petals to Thorns LP you have ordered.

I can confirm that we are chasing our supplier for any update as to when we can expect this to arrive although at this time, we do not have an exact date. My apologies for any inconvenience caused."

So I waited more... it has been 3 whole month since my order has been placed so I emailed them again, and let me remind you that I paid 36 euros. So I asked again and they tell me

"I am sorry to say we are still waiting for the stock to arrive and everyone who has placed a pre order is still waiting."

Okay I waited 1 month again so I asked for a refund and 1 month again later still no refund, and because I'm a rookie and I didn't know that Universal Music was a awful company I ordered a IT4MI shirt on the same site and guess what, IT'S ALSO TAKING AGES. So today I lost 77 euros and I feel like I've been scamed by a well known company. I'm not a rich guy I kinda used all my money for this and it makes me feel horrible.

Ordered 3 vinyls not a single one…

Ordered 3 vinyls not a single one showed up. Nothing done about it except a refund that was albeit easy to obtain. Guaranteed these guys care nothing about customer service. I dont often write reviews but this one really made me angry. DO NOT order from these guys if you're hoping your order will actually show up.

Unfulfilled purchase from Sam Fender Store

Purchased a product from the Sam Fender store, paid for in June with a dispatch date due of 28th June, beginning of August and still no fulfilment of the product so I queried with customer services. 10th August, was informed that the item was being prepared to be shipped within 2 days. I'm still waiting for the fulfilment email (and obviously the actual product) now radio silence on the email query thread.

Eras merch letdown

I bought merch at a Taylor Swift show and traded with a friend. The line was long and the transaction happened fast, so I didn’t realize until I got home that my item I got from her was faded to the point of being mostly illegible (beyond the normal “faded” look). I contacted UMG customer service, gave them the original purchaser’s information, but they did not help me because I wasn’t the original buyer. This was very frustrating because for a sweatshirt that expensive, I would expect at least decent quality. I know that lots of people traded/bought from others and had proof of purchase, and it’s not cool that so many people are having issues with such pricey, yet cheaply made garments. I was hoping for an easy replacement but UMG just says they can’t help. Reading the other poor reviews validates my experience.

Awful service - avoid!

Preordered Taylor Swift Midnights vinyl. It’s now a month after the release date and no sign of delivery, customer service is useless. I will never preorder vinyl from them again.

This company are useless

This company are useless, having been dealing with them under Sound of Vinyl for several years .
If you pre-order a vinyl and your payment card changes from when you placed the order - ( have waited 19 months for one pre order!) obviously the payment doesn’t go through, they just cancel your order !! So you then don’t & can’t get the limited edition vinyl you ordered. You cannot update your payment options in your account. You can’t speak to anyone & the internet contact option is painful & useless : I have closed my account & will never deal with them again. All the vinyl I have bought has been available & cheaper elsewhere!!

ABSOLUTE SCAM SUCH BAD SERVICE

0 stars. Horrible customer service. Extremely misleading replies. Cancelled my order without my permission and have not received a refund. Purchased a $200 Jacket. Worst customer service and communication i’ve experienced.

Worst Customer Service Ever-NO STAR REVIEW!!!
Purchased ahead of time for box-set, was sent wrong one in pink, no signed copy, least of all, arrived 2 months after ordered. When tried to return/exchange, sent the same garbage back to me. Asked for refund, again a month later sent the same garbage/wrong order. After communication continuously 4-5 times a week. NEVER, EVER BUY FROM UMG website, I wonder if the musicians even know how their fans are treated so badly.

The worst service and support

The worst service and support I ever had to experience. I pre-ordered items for the new NF release, which I was looking forward to so much. Weeks after ordering, and only 2.5 before it was supposed to ship, I receive an email that they have to cancel and refund because they cannot ship to Germany. They provided me with a link to the German shop (which it should have redirected me to in the first place, as I clicked on the link in the initial email). However, the items I ordered are sold out there. I've contacted the support right away asking them to find a solution, and TWICE they clearly did not read what I wrote and only told me the refund is on its way. The third time they simply told me that they can't do nor know anything about restocks and that I should keep and eye on the German shop. So 1. It should've redirected me to the correct shop through my IP in the first place 2. I shouldn't have been able to choose Germany for the shipping 3. They contacted me WEEKS after I ordered 4. Their support can't read and doesn't care about your inquiry 5. They are useless either way and screwed up something that I was looking forward to so much

UMG doesn't know how to run operations!

I am very tired of UMG consistently messing up inventory and orders. I wait months for my products to arrive only to find stuff missing (in 4/5 orders). After repeating myself to a customer service rep 3+ times and answering the same questions repeatedly via email (which, mind you, is with a different customer service rep on every reply --- Also, why don't they just read the message history that is clearly documented? What a novel idea?!), I come to find out that cannot send me the item(s) as they do not have the stock for it.
First of all, I should out that the item is out of stock at *check out*, not after I have purchased it MONTHS ago. That means they are just holding my money for months... For what purpose? Running out of inventory doesn't take months to realize! Secondly, they should be emailing us proactively, not waiting for the shipment to arrive, and for me to reach out after verifying the order against my receipt.
This is not the first occurrence but 4+ times they have done this on my orders.
Not to mention that every response says that they are experiencing "higher than normal demand". If that is the case they need to staff up appropriately. They have been experiencing "higher than normal demand" for 6+ months. It sounds like the company can't manage it's inventory, its warehouse operations, its shipping & handling, or its customer service.
Why is this acceptable business practice? They should replace their COO.

Easily the worst experience I have ever…

Easily the worst experience I have ever had with a company. Purchased multiple items that they posted as a promo sale in November of 2022. I emailed them the week of Christmas to find out why it was taking so long. They said they were working on my order. Emailed them 2 weeks later. I was told I would have tracking info within 4 business days. Weeks go by. Still no order updates. It is mid February. I have emailed 9 times total. They have stopped responding at this point. Absolute thieves and a terrible company that should be investigated by the Attorney General in CA.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered taylor swift signed vinyl from them in October. I just now realized I never received them and decided to check on my order. I reached out to them and they say they can’t do anything about the order since it’s over 60 days since sent out an email saying they shipped the item. I never received an email because my order never shipped so how can they not do anything about it?! I checked my order status which still says confirmed and there’s a tracking number under it and tracking says the shipping company is still waiting on the package. AWFUL customer service and AWFUL company. Absolute thieves.

I pre-ordered 2 Taylor Swift items for…

I pre-ordered 2 Taylor Swift items for Christmas in early November, with the understanding that it would be shipped in 1-2 weeks. It’s mid January, and I still don’t even have a time frame for shipment. If it wasn’t a gift for my teen, I’d cancel. Horrible experience and incredibly disappointing since it should have been here for Christmas.

Absolutely worst online buying…

Absolutely worst online buying experience I have ever had. I ordered $250 worth of Paul McCartney vinyl records. They arrived and were clearly warped. I filed a claim and they sent me a second shipment of records with the exact same quality problems warpage on all the records. After escalating the problem to PayPal I finally got an email promising a refund. Then they issued a refund but not to me. Due to a technical problem, they issued the refund to some other credit card and some other person. This after ridiculous amounts of documentation on my part. Three months later. I’m still waiting on my refund. Absolutely the worst online experience I have ever had. Do not buy from these a@&holes. There are obviously systemic problems. That will not be corrected. Both in quality control. As well as customer service. Horrible horrible horrible.

If I could give less than 1 star I…

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I ordered a John Lennon T Shirt and over a month later it was clearly lost in the mail. I emailed for help and was told multiple times to keep waiting. Finally they agreed it was lost and that I had to file a claim for a refund. Well they then had the nerve to deny my refund. I just filed a dispute with my credit card. They are a bunch of scammers!

Horrible company

Ordered Taylor Swift Midnights Vinyls, Vinyl Clock and CD clock in September for my niece Christmas gift. Email said ship around early November. Charged my credit card right away. Still no estimate ship date and Christmas is next week. Horrible company! The clocks are sold out and the only option they offered was to cancel my order!
