Not sure how I'm feeling about the service they offer 🤔 I've paid for my prescription which has been under review for the past for days I have messaged the team multiple times to ask how long it takes for them to review until I'm prescribed the product that best suits me.... silence... I feel ignored 🙁

I cannot recommend Uncouth Skincare highly enough. Emma is a brilliant dermatologist who provides truly hands-on advice, guidance, and care throughout the entire process. My skin has never looked or felt this good. I started treatment around four months ago, and now in my mid-40s my skin is genuinely better than it was in my 20s. The results have been transformative, and I feel confident knowing my treatment is carefully tailored and expertly managed. I am now adding hydroquinone to the regimen and feel completely reassured doing so under Emma’s guidance. Exceptional service and outstanding results.

Sent and charged for someone else’s prescription in error but told I might like to try it. Felt like a chemical burn, skin barrier wrecked as way too strong given I had just received my first prescription a few weeks earlier.

The person on chat should never have advised just using was the advice from the derm who is now helping me.

I should have just sent it back but tbh the hassle factor won and they got an extra payment from me. I do wonder if that was actually the scam.

Communication is in their chat box with no notification of new messages. Just hard work, unprofessional practices and relatively expensive.

There are better options around. Lesson learnt.

Joined Uncouth as I had heard great reviews about this company and I’m glad to say the reviews were not wrong. They welcome your input as to what treatment you are prescribed. You can easily contact them to alter the delivery date of your next treatment and to message them if you have any questions. I recommend this company

I’d like to start by saying I’ve tried all the major online skin subscription retinol programmes. I’ve been desperately searching for a cure to my adult acne.

At first I quite liked uncouth because I thought the price was decent compared to Klira, and just a bit of a higher standard than Dermatica or Skin and me, however, I’ve recently changed my mind.

When you get your bottles, they say that you can last up to eight weeks and because my prescription was upped to a higher dose, I couldn’t actually tolerate it more than once a week. I started to break out quite badly when I continued to use it beyond the expiration date, but I hadn’t even made a dent in it…

Obviously it’s wasteful to just keep spending 50 pound each time when you’ve only used a fifth of your retinol.

I think the formulations are less stable than other over-the-counter retinols. You can get e.g. Obagi etc. which last 6 months, because having to repurchase after eight weeks is just a money-making racket.

I also gave them feedback about the fact that I could not see the individual base ingredients on my packaging or in my personal account, which I did not like.

I like to know what I’m putting on my face as I check every single ingredient and when they replied to me to say that I was on base one, I ran it through the acne pore checker site and found that it has a comedogenic pore-clogging ingredient, which I think might have contributed to my breakouts.

I’m going to find another retinol where I know exactly what’s in it, which is hopefully stable for longer and it doesn’t have any pore-clogging additives.

The online account management is generally unclear. I couldn’t always work out where my subscription was at and ended up having to message a few times. Payment process was unclear at times too and I ended up missing one but received no emails. I only found out when I logged into my account.

Finally, I dislike that they have just started doing other things such as fat loss injections. To me that says they’re not actually experts about skin, they’re just bothered about profits…

Brilliant and efficient service. My personalised prescription is transforming my skin already, and it hasn’t even been a week. I was also pleased to find out at the time of ordering that they had a special offer on at the time. They brought this to my attention which shows the honesty and integrity of this company. Very pleased indeed.

Unfortunately I could not use the uncouth products as I have an allergy to them but the team was so responsive at point.
Great care was taken when I reached out.

I was fooled into buying by the fact that I was after trying topical spironolactone that is pretty difficult to get in the UK but when I first used the formula I was very surprised to notice it clearly contains a very high alcohol percentage - it stung my eyes very badly even though I did not apply it anywhere near my eyes and it also dried instantly on the skin. Very strong solvent smell.
Apart from the fact that it only lists the active ingredients on the bottle, I had to look on the extensive online leaflet to find the complete list of base ingredients and it does not list anything that would have these effects, if anything the formula should be very emollient. Also the leaflet is about all their formulas, not only for the one you actually get.
I applied it once and left it during the night, it dried my skin so badly, same like any alcohol formula that I used in the past and I avoid now like the plague. The second day I applied it again to confirm and I washed it after minutes.
I contacted customer services wanting a refund, I was refused invoking terms and conditions but they were 'kind' enough to offer me the full list of ingredients that also contained ethanol. There is no mention of ethanol on the official leaflet. Not only that, in their reply they admitted the formula even has a 'very high ethanol content' and claimed that was never an issue.
The 15ml formula is pretty pricey, paid £60 and was not even offered an alternative. Now I highly doubt it even contains any actual spironolactone.
Avoid this dishonest company. If you need professional online dermatology services try Dermatica or Skin+Me, they are the absolute best.

Great company! Great customer service and very understanding for your needs!

The online ordering service was super easy, I can edit my dashboard and send a message to my prescriber at anytime. My product arrived within less than a week.
I love the fact that all I have to do is use the prepared cream once a day and it suits my skin so well, my skin is so soft and smooth in the morning.
My main concern is hyperpigmentation and melasma so I’m looking forward to seeing the results after 8 weeks.

I decided to try Uncouth as there is more choice in the strengths and ingredients of their formulas. Have not been using the product for long but so far so good and am very pleased I changed to this skin care company. Would recommend to anyone.

This is the nicest formulation of tret I have tried. Zero irritation and very helpful team if you ever have any questions. My skin has never looked better.

Having been a tretonin user for 3 years now. I switched from a much bigger brand to Uncouth. The reason being how the other brand treated their customer base. I'm pleased to report that Uncouth have a brilliant product, it's well priced and their customer service is simply brilliant. I can't see me going anywhere else for my product

Great ingredients and strengths that I couldn’t get from another skin online business. Changed to Uncouth and can see a really difference now in my skin. Been with them for over a year and going well. Easy to delay or change dates of delivery.

During that time I've gradually increased the strength of my formula and have found it suits my skin really well. Any questions or requests I've have always been answered promptly. I have used a few different skin compounding companies, but Uncouth is by far the best. From the friendly website that is easy to use, to the compounds themselves, i really can't fault it. The information on the website is easy to read and understand (even the science bits!) and the whole team are more than happy to explain things if you need any extra information on anything. They are flexible about your subscription and reply to emails very promptly so you always feel part of the 'Uncouth' family.

In the past few years I've been with several persciption skincare provider, starting with Skin&me then moving to Dermatica and finally to Uncouth.
I've been with uncouth for months now possibly a year and I have to say that from the very offset I consistently been impressed by not just their treatment/product but also their customer service. They are so much more human, understanding, friendly, compassionate and accessible than any other company I have ever tried. Their treatment is also the first where I've actually felt its truly being custom created specifically for me. The treatment itself far surpasses others I've tried. It do much more hydrating and gentle on my skin even it contains the same level of active ingredients (Tretinoin).
If your looking for prescription skincare then I definitely recommend giving Uncouth a try.

Great company; great formulas. I’ve tried other bespoke face cream formulations but would say this is the best. The team help you every step of the way and guide you through using hydroquinone which is the gold star for pigmentation. It’s really helped my skin feel its best.
