I contact customer service
I contact customer service, one of the uniform pice don’t fit. Jacket, size L run small, they said that can’t exchange. For me it’s no just.
Lousy billing
My church and parochial school use Unifirst for a variety of services. Last year we spent over $25K with them. Their billing service is beyond horrible. They haven't sent a correct invoice since last April. I dread dealing with them.
Worst company to deal with
Worst company to deal with. I have been trying to get them to apply an unapplied credit for four months now and nobody can figure it out. Every time I call they are going to reach out to a manager and the manager will call me back. The manager never calls back and the credit still never gets applied. I'm not even sure why they have a customer service department to call about billing. Customer service never does anything. So over it
what is even worse a week later my…
what is even worse a week later my wonderful usual driver comes back from vacation and when i see he didn't have uniforms for us he opened the dirty laundry locker and there was the uniforms from the previous week. he sent those uniforms express which i should have gotten back Monday. we have been calling since Monday and finally recieved a call back today. when i got on the phone with the manager he said that he didn't know where my uniform were. that they were probably still in ct. two hours later my uniform showed up. i guess they didn't know it was on the truck. i am suppose to renew my contract with them which i won't because every time we have a problem nobody in management takes charge and correct the problem all they do is finger pointing
It's been one mistake after another
The first week we received uniforms, we did not get racks to hang the clean uniforms on (we have 2 locations) and we did not receive any dirty laundry bins. The driver had no explanation and told me that he didn't even know if they had any racks to give saying "good luck" getting racks.
We ordered rags and did not get them the first week.
Also we had 1 uniform that was measured for and it was delivered in size 42 (pants) and the man is a 34/30...big difference. Now he has had to wait a week and the driver said he could not guarantee he will have it the 2nd week.
I then phoned the service manager and it took 3 days for him to return my call.
Now after week 2, I've got guys that ordered short sleeves that received long sleeves, which in a warehouse, doesn't work so well.
I find our driver runs in and runs out...doesn't even say hello, or ask if I have any questions or concerns...he can't get out of our location fast enough. In doing that, he is forgetting things and is not very professional.
Today I called and could not get a hold of my customer service rep, my service manager, or of course my driver. I don't expect to hear from them for the next 48+ hours.
So disappointed with the service we've received and to think that we are only 2 weeks in....is very frustrating!

Unifirst is a terrible company to deal with . They are liars and completely not trustworthy or honest.
Beware!
After getting bad service from my last uniform service, my company tried UniFirst. Right off the bat, their representative assured us we wouldn't have a contract. This was because of the horrible service we received from the previous company.
They lied about the contract. Now it's 3 years in, we are still paying for this service even though we aren't using it. They tell me my contract will finally be up in November and that it will automatically renew unless I send them a certified letter 30 days before. Completely unacceptable!
If you are looking for a uniform service, don't use UniFirst. There are better ones out there that won't pull you into a contract.
Uni-WORST!
I have been wearing uniforms from various companies for 30 years. This company is by far the worst I have ever used.
First off, my name is Darren. My name tags say Damen.
Secondly, this is not the size I ordered. I have been complaining about this for FIVE YEARS! My shirts are too small. I can not wear them. I finally bought Dickies uniform shirts at Wal-mart and had name tags made.
I will say that the quality of the uniforms is excellent. The pants were the correct size from day one. The shirts were the issue. I have been wearing the uniform pants for 5 years, and they have held up well.
Two years ago, some kind of rep from Uni-Worst stopped by to ask us about our uniforms. I told him of my issues, and he said they would solve the problem....well, two years later I am still wearing Dickies I bought at Wal-Mart. I have sent the shirts from Uni-Worst back numerous times, with a note explaining the problem and they continue to come back with Damen on the name tag, and still a size too small.
My employer told Uni-Worst to get lost about a year ago, bought us uniforms and tried a laundry service, which didn't work out, so back to Uni-Worst they went. I ordered the correct name and size over a month ago. Half of us have yet to receive our uniforms.
So now that my Dickies shirts are wearing out, I suppose I will have to purchase more of my own, and have my wife sew the name tags I had bought with the correct name onto my new shirts.
If I owned a business, this would be the last uniform company I would use.
Part of the blame in all this goes to my employer. For five years I have been complaining about my uniforms, and their response has been to throw their hands in the air and say "well that sucks", instead of holding these clowns at Uni-Worst accountable.
**UPDATE** I finally got uniforms 2 1/2 months after this second order. This is going on 5 1/2 years of working at my job. The name and size is correct on the shirts. They are good quality uniforms, as before. I will say that much. I did get new pants as well, which were the correct size, as before.
My employer did appoint someone in the office to act as a "uniform czar". Each week she has to take inventory of uniforms as they are returned from laundering Uni-Worst, and has to make weekly reports. You shouldn't have to babysit your uniform vendor, but that seems to be what is required with Uni-Worst.

What an absolute nightmare!
My business was a former customer of theirs. I have a retail shop with two bathrooms. I just wanted toilet paper and hand towels for the two restrooms, a few logo floor mats that they would pick up and clean, a mop, and some hand towels. I was told it would be a little over $200 per month. Ok, sounded good. Then the nightmare began. Over the months, my bookkeeper asked me what was going on with the charges from Unifirst and why they were so high. Confused, i looked and our monthly charges from these guys had crept up to over $900/MONTH! I called them immediately and they apologized saying that was ridiculous and they would get my service costs back down to normal. Months later they had come down to about $400 which was still theft to me. Then I cancelled the contract. Now they've filed suit for $14,000 in civil court. To all entrepreneurs and business owners out there, beware the nightmare that this company is. UNILAST is the last thing you want to get involved with as a business. $900+ per MONTH for a small store with two restrooms. What a racket.
Bad bad bad
Bad bad bad. Really bad math. You order 1000 towels 500 in shop 500 being washed. They send 300 towels because they say you'll damage some. Really they just want to charge you for 1000 but provide 600 as a sleazy way to get more money without doing more work.
