Poor experience, the rooms were extremely dirty, leaking taps commonplace and were almost never fixed. Not worth complaining as you wont get a response

Unhelpful and rude staff, especially the Property Manager, who was very passive aggressive. Room was delivered in a filthy state, and UniLodge refused to do anything, and kept making excuses like "there were already tenants living there", despite nowhere in the contract saying this was an exception. Room was falsely advertised as having a King Single bed, but luckily this was resolved. Emailed them about required maintenance but it's been months and they still haven't done it. Stay away from UniLodge!

Worst real estate company ever, very slow to process every request, even the most simple, I’ve been waiting a month to have my bathroom sink fixed and the air conditioner had a leak and after three months it wasn’t fixed yet. One of the two elevators has been out of order for months.
The staff is extremely rude and unkind, the lease contracts are so expensive and have a lot of restrictions.
The bills and WiFi are generally not included in the rent and there are no washing machines in the apartments.
STAY AWAY FROM UNILODGE!!!

I didn’t like the treatments received by the staff. They were really unkind and unhelpful, they gave us a final worning because they supposed that we were living with another person inside the apartment with us, without any proof of that. I’m really disappointed and unhappy, I wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone.

This company is the less professional and unhelpful I’ve ever deal with. During my stay everything with okay, but when it comes to refund us the bond... one name (we were 4) was missing on the form and they charged us 624$ for no reason. They send us an unacceptable form 1 month late (!) and they never tried to give us an decent awnser to our emails. Avoid this company ...

Although the close proximity to UQ seems appealing and worth the price, the management of UniLodge @UQ is terrible. I had people constantly telling me different things and often wound up with hidden fees. The manager also kept things from me or told me something different than they told my roommate. The rooms are nice and clean and if you are above the first floor the view isn't bad, but the experience both my roommate and I had were not pleasant and we both agreed it was too expensive for what we got. The rooms are also very awkward without a living room. It is nearly impossible to have friends visit because there is no general area for people to sit and gather besides your bedroom. St Lucia as a suburb is also generally quiet and far from everything else great about Brissy. All my friends lived in the city or further and it was an effort to meet them and not always worth it. Great space and building, but too expensive and too much confusion with management.
Unilodge South is a great place to live in. The atmosphere is perfect for new international students. I really love the common spaces, music room, and the general facilities offered.
The facilities are nice, but from a student point of view, we would like to have more permissive rules that do not constrain life in the building. For instance, every time you get locked out of your room, which happens to everyone, they charge you the modest price of $50 for each door they come to open out of the working time (so $100 for 6-room apartments if you find yourself outside your apartment without the key). The access to some common areas is quite restricted: only during daytime. Students also feel 'spied' since the cameras are constantly monitored by the residential managers. It definitely makes you not feel comfortable with such a lack of privacy. There's still many things to improve to make students feel not guilty (nor pay) for everything. In the end we are the actual customers.
All staffs here are really kind and approachable. The infrastructures here are also good and reliable. I have had a memorable experience living here for 4 months.
It's a great student accommodation! It has great environments and living standards. The events can meet new friends which is very good. The staff are very friendly and nice. However, the internet is always disconnecting! And the laundry machine is always not working. Recommend that it would be better that if the lease period could be flexible, for example divided into 6-9months, 9-12months.
So clean and modern, people here Are like family
I would recommend Unilodge to anyone. The price for the room is high but similar to all the other student accomodation options in Brisbane.
A great place to live while studying. Very accommodating and helpful, with a friendly resident community.
If i could give it more I would.
On top of the roommate who is probably the rudest person I have ever meet, to the anxirty inducing letters and email from staff about issues that I have tried to address with them. I am 100% not reccomending my international university friends to stay here when they come down in the new year.
Nice and quiet place, recommended for everyone ♥️
Quite, clean and great location.
Lots of activities, good atmosphere
It was worst time i stayed here and the staff is not helpful and ground was so smelly because of rubbish and they were like they dont know and i lost too much money in laundry machines
Well, I've enjoyed staying at Unilodge. It has been a safe and secure place to live in the Adelaide CBD. The rent is reasonable considering the location and the inclusions (internet, insurance, csp and water). The staff are friendly and helpful and there is always someone to talk to if you are in the mood to talk to someone. The rooms are self-contained so you have your own independent private space to live in and being in the Adelaide CBD, everything is close by and within walking distance including shops, cafes, restaurants, churches, pubs, fast food outlets, public transport, hospital and doctors, dentists and so forth - you get the picture. Over-all a great place to live.
