I wanted something different for my sister’s 80th birthday and a visit to a local vineyard with lunch seemed to fit the bill. It hasn’t been used yet, but the system of purchasing was simple

The process was very easy and the choice of products available was very good. We enjoyed a beautiful afternoon tea for two at Love Brownie barn.

this was a gift. my one comment would be that it could do with a send date, this was probably my mistake but the gift was forwarded by e-mail immediate as supposed to when I wanted it to arrive.

I use your company every year for family. Living in America, your company makes it extremely easy for me to gift loved ones on special occasions without the hassle of fighting the crowds. Unique and thoughtful gifts. Something for everyone.

This is my third experience of buying gifts for friends from Uniquely Local. Easy to find the perfect gift and simple to purchase- I’ve bought both voucher gift boxes and pdf e vouchers.
This time I’ve decided to join my friend on the experience. I’ve now booked direct with the experience provider. Using the voucher was straightforward. The provider was very quick to respond (they’ve also sent lots of information for the day (directions, what to wear, bring etc)). I cannot wait for the experience!

I have now purchased 2 experiences from Uniquely Local, both as gifts for my lovely wife. The booking process was simple and efficient, and my wife was delighted with both gifts. It can be tricky to choose new and interesting presents but the Uniquely Local website was full of inspirational ideas. I would definitely recommend this small business and I will be using them again myself. Rarely has my wife been so pleased with me….

The website is easy to navigate with options to search by price, type of activity or who or what the activity is for.
There really is something for everyone you need to buy for and the vouchers come beautifully presented.
Rachel has personal experience of the activities available so is great at advising you if can't decide which activity is best, and there's always the option of monetary vouchers to let your giftee choose their own activity.
Most recently we bought a couple of vouchers as a retirement present for a colleague..... the pen turning experience was a definite highlight!

We received an Eco Food tour of York gift voucher as a wedding gift from Uniquely Local and it was absolutely fantastic! What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon, meeting local food producers and learning about their craft then getting to try the house specials. We were absolutely stuffed by the end of it and have been back to many of the undiscovered gems since!

Fantastic customer service. I ordered a Ghost tour as a Christmas Present, it came in a gorgeous gift box, delivered really quickly. The friends ordered the gift for said they had a fantastic time and would be using Uniquely Local themselves in the future. Thank you!!

My issue was not with the photographer but with Uniquely local who took a heck of a lot of money for an experience which was mis-sold and misrepresented by them and then they tried to blame the photographer.
This was a grossly overpriced experience which was not unique and despite the tuition provided by the photographer, was not worth the money.
Nothing unique about this experience.
I was given a uniquely local experience for my Birthday. A photography day at Chester Zoo.
There was nothing unique about it. Our photographer guide was very knowledgeable but she simply had a block booking for our part and we had to fight for space with thousands of other visitors. No unique access, no special privileges and areas not worth visiting as the queues were so long.
The “goody bag” was 3 small cards.
The weather was mixed but even so, far too much time was spent indoors trying to take photos through glass.
Save your money, know how to take photos and buy your own ticket to the zoo. You will save a fortune.
Chester zoo is not great for photographers if the animals stay indoors. Crowded view areas behind glass with indoor enclosures not lit for photography and horrendous reflections and glare from the glass.
All in all a very disappointing experience despite the skill and knowledge of the photographer,

I have booked an Axe Throwing Experience through Uniquely Local and they have been extremely helpful. Very easy to deal with and I could highly recommend.
I will be using Uniquely Local in the future to book with.

I received a gift voucher for a Uniquely Local workshop for my birthday.
I was hoping to redeem the voucher at The Soap Loaf Company on Manchon Road Sheffield. Unfortunately numeras emails ,phone calls and in person have not resulted in being able to actually book a workshop . The manager was away from the shop when I called in and I was assured she would phone me but i received an attachment that couldn't be opened instead. I am feeling very disappointed with this company.

Great website, easy to use. Lots of fantastic gift ideas. I ordered a boxed item and was here within a couple of days. Can’t comment on actual gift experience as not yet been taken

As I live in Yorkshire, I was delighted to find this site. Looking for a gift for my husband, I found loads of inspiration for an experience not too far from home. Lots to choose from, something for every taste, I was at last able to choose something exciting and different for the man in my life. The site was easy to navigate, the ordering and payment process very straightforward and the paperwork was emailed straight away. They are nice people too! This site will be a favourite from now on.
