Ok registrar, but they have just been bought out by GoDaddy, whom I've been trying to avoid. Their UI for DNS records doesn't support CAA records, which is a deal breaker for me. Despite this, cust... See more

Uniregistry is a good service, and I never experienced any problems with it. My issue is mainly from increased renewal prices on tlds such as .io that doubled in price after the godaddy acquisition.... See more

Works great but I was never able to sell one domain name. These are the two reasons why I migrated my portfolio to Uniregistry:
- Cheap price (lowest on the market with OVH)
- A Registrar created by domainers answers 2 of the issues I have with other registrars: simplicity (with a low number of clicks to do an action) and sell domain names (I thought I would be able to sell but I never sold any). The market section is easy to set-up but parking pages are ugly. Some options were missing.

they charge 3x more than others.

bought a .diet domain for 130usd, only to find it with another registrar for 37.50 an hour later. Asked to refund or match price, but they wouldn't. Never using these guys again, what a scam. I should have been warned by the Cayman Island location... Now you are..

Crooked Brokers

Crooked! I requested a purchase price for a domain that I let lapse. Their response was that it could cost up to $2500...the next day I received an email stating that the owner was requesting $2999...while mulling this over I received a phone call from a Uniregistry rep who said he should be able to get his seller to sell for $6000!

When I told him about the email stating $2999 and he was speechless.

2nd party domain brokers are crooked, unethical, and only interested in their profits! it’s easy to buy thousands of domains for $10-$12 a pop and then try to resell them. I

They walked me through on how to add my own custom ns1 and ns2 IP names. I have never done this before. They did not treat me unkind and were very helpful in walking me through the process. They also made sure what I was doing was needed.

Thank you for all your help!

support did not understand non-typical problem (whois server)

I'm not customer of uniregistry. One of two their 'WHOIS' servers (69.*.*.153) is down, I noticed this problem and wanted to inform them. I selected 'DNS' category of support ticket (as most related, they have no category 'whois server is down'). Support person who replied me did not understood me and just replied me with template how to purchase domain etc.

I dont really need to fix their whois service, so I just gave up and didn't spend my time with them.
