Uniregistry Is Good. Complainers About Market Prices Are Bad.
Uniregistry (now, a part of GoDaddy) has helped me buy and sell many domain names over the past six years. Their brokers are considered to be among the best in the industry and this matches with my experience. They are always responsive to my customer support requests. Now that they will be part of GoDaddy going forward, Uniregistry is only going to get better.
Unfortunately, many negative reviews for Uniregistry here on TrustPilot are mostly sour grapes complaints from folks who cannot afford to buy a top quality domain name in the global secondary market in 2019/2020. Or, they simply have not done their research into the value of quality domain names on the global secondary market today and they are shocked when they are quoted a price that feels high to them but simply reflects today's market reality.
A little research using Google shows that good .com domain names trade hands for several thousands of dollars every day. If that is a surprise to you, then do your due diligence research before complaining about it. You'd do your due diligence research on a piece of physical real estate before you buy, so why not do the same due diligence research on a piece of digital real estate before you buy? Of course a great domain name registered for $20 over 20 years ago is not going to be worth that same $20 in 2020 -- it's likely going to be worth many thousands of dollars. Why? Because the Internet has grown dramatically in size and value since 1997. So has the land (domain names) underneath it.
The expectation that you should be able to acquire a good quality 1997 .com domain name in 2020 for only $20, or $100, or even $1,000 just doesn't line up with supply and demand. Each domain name is a one-of-a-kind and there's only one in the world. If global demand for the domain name is high, rationally, the price will be high as well given that supply is limited to a count of 1. So, don't complain on TrustPilot about it – align your expectations with market reality and increase your budget to acquire the best quality domain name your business truly deserves. Or, if you don't believe your business deserves the very best, buy a different domain name that matches the budget you have assigned to perhaps the most important element of any modern business in the year 2020.
SCAM
SCAM. They steal your domain name and try to charge a outrageous amount to use it. Stay away.

One page content for domain did not show up
I had bought a domain and configured the Postboard service, so it would show a page with text and a picture on it. But it did only show up in preview, not on the public Internet. I contacted support, they triggered the tech team to fix it. Now it works. So I am happy with support, but not with the original service.

Uniregistry - One Star Too Many !
One star too many !! Yes - another unresolved issue - this time over domains classified in their system as expired - but later advised as deleted. If you cannot trust what you see "on screen" that has been system articulated as accurate - then it is simply time - to move on.
The difference being now - that they get to collect a $10.88 renewal plus $50.00 redemption fee for each of the 10 domains involved - in lieu of a standard $8.70 renewal. They have the discretion to amend this with Verisign for accidental or unauthorised deletions but failed to do so.
Why Godaddy would want to acquire them is beyond me, good luck with that GD !!

$950,000 for a domain.
I and a couple of buddies had a great social media idea called socialite, we started coding and once we had a stable release ready, we went to look at domains. We wanted socialite.com and found out uni owned it so we went and talked to them and found out they wanted 950,000 USD for this domain? I get Socialite might be popular but 950,000? That is crazy expensive while over on name.com or namecheap.com we could get it a .xyz or any other extension for like 20 bucks!
One word, "scam".
Superior Service
As always the answers provided by your team more than satisfied my initial questions. They were professional, courteous and expedited the solution.
Thank you,
