There are lots of shutter companies out there online and you can’t tell what they are really like. I chose Universal Shutters for the human touch: their staff in the office and those coming to my home to measure and install were unfailingly courteous, prompt and quick to understand what I wanted and how to make that happen. Their prices are very reasonable too and I am delighted with the end result. All round I had a firstclass experience with Universal Shutters!

All of our initial contacts have been excellent. Just waiting for delivery and honestly looking forward to that to take place.

They were professional, friendly, efficient and gave excellent advice to help me choose the best overall product for my home!

After a seeing a Universal Shutter install at a relatives house I contacted the team and they were quick to attend to measure up, spoke about the products and gave me a quote. The next day I had Hillary’s which weren’t that interested, lesser quality MDF rather than a composite hard wood and more expensive.

I choose Universal Shutters and paid 50% deposit, the shipping time was over estimate so they arrived earlier and within days they were installed! It literally took an hour for three quality, measured and made perfectly windows to be installed.

Couldn’t be happier would very much recommend.

From start to finish our dealings with Universal Shutters have been second none. Colin was very informative and explained what would happen during installation. Justina kept us informed on how the shutters were getting on in the manufactoring process and they were delivered and fitted a month before we expected them. From beginning to end Justina and the team from Universal shutters were amazing. Dan came into to measure up and guided us through. James came to deliver and skillfully fitted the shutters in every room in our home.
No pressure sales either.

The shutters have now been installed and the quality of finish is second to none. They have been expertly fitted by Jake, and I can't fault the product from my initial impression. The wait (caused by delays due to Covid) is relatively long, but if you have the patience for it the results are certainly worth it!
