I have purchased a number of synthetic/human hair wigs from Uniwigs. I have seen the quality continue to improve over time with my most recent purchase, ‘Barbara’ being a superb choice. The lace front is impeccable and easy to trim, the low hair density is realistic and the light brown, highlighted fibers are beautiful. I need to make no adjustments to the superior cut.

I can not fault this company. Quite simply. The customer service is incredible. The personal advice I've received is unlike any other company I've dealt with. There are no 'copy and paste' emails but long and specific replies that manage to answer every question I put to them. This is rare. I've ordered a couple of pieces from them and I've been happy both times. I'm just about to order another. If you haven't worn helper hair before should know that it may take a while to get any topper or wig right for you, but there is a huge amount of useful info on the Uniwigs site and YouTube especially. I'd highly recommend this company especially if you're just starting out since the prices are on the lower side and any help you need they are more than happy to give. 10*

I absolutely LOVE my topper. I ordered a second one and right after I submitted the order, I reviewed it and it had the wrong color. I sent an email to UniWig support and I was helped within 15 minutes. Issue resolved! Great support!

Uniwigs has the most amazing customer service. They must get a message from me daily! I settled on Amber, 12 inch, with bangs. This is the first time I ordered a topper with bangs, and it looks fab. She sits perfectly, the hair colour is Truffle Brown, 120% density. I love Amber. She is smooth and soft, and the 120% density is plenty for me. Another winner from Uniwigs!

I bought a hair topper from this company and the quality is fantastic. The price was better than I have found for the quality. I paid just under$300.00 for a human hair 16 inch topper chimps to my first topper bought somewhere else for 2k. I am sooo pleased. I'm a customer for life.

To say that Uniwigs has impressed me would be an understatement! I procrastinated on buying a topper for a few years. I assumed every topper would cost in the thousands; I was fearful that they would feel like a wig and look unnatural, and I did not know which retailer could be trusted. Not to mention, I began to believe that if a topper was reasonably priced or much less expensive that others, that it must be low quality. Well, when it comes to Uniwigs I was very wrong on all of my assumptions!

My hair is thinning on top, more towards the back crown area. I never wore my hair down, because I would have to tease it and look like Peg Bundy from Married with Children, and even then, the teasing would fall. I had tried clip-in hair extensions, but they made me look even worse by adding a bunch of volume on the sides, thereby making the thinning top look even flatter.

I literally watched hundreds of video reviews in recent years, and the common results from people who reviewed different brands was that Uniwigs was a great choice. As such, I decided to give them a try. I ordered “Amber” which unless you order it customized, it comes in one length (no layers or bangs). Amber seemed to be a great choice, because it is not extremely thick, so it will look natural. Also, it has a silk top in the middle of the base, which looks undetectable and 100% like hair growing out of your scalp.

Within 24 hours of placing my order I received my tracking number. When I tracked the order, it showed it was coming from out of the country, so I got incredibly nervous, because all research I had done showed they were located in the United States. In the past, any time I purchased something that came from another country, it either looked nothing like what I ordered, or it took a month or more to arrive. Well, to my absolute shock, my topper arrived in FOUR DAYS! I want to also add that yes, Uniwigs does have offices in the USA, but they also have manufacturing warehouses in other countries. Having manufacturing in other countries allows Uniwigs to offer us the lowest prices, while not compromising on quality and value.

Upon arrival, I opened the shipping packaging and found a beautiful box with a magnetic closure. I opened it and there Amber was in all of her glory. Now keep in mind, unless you request a custom cut, the likelihood that your topper will be perfect right out the box may or may not be the case. If you place it on your head and it does not appear to blend with your texture or with your part, you are able to curl or straighten the topper and/or curl or straighten your bio hair to match. In most cases, the part will look too perfect, which can make the topper appear less “real”. There is an extremely simple fix to this. Simply spray water on the part, part the hair in a less perfect position, then blow dry the part, at which time it will stay in the position you place it, making it look 100% natural. If you have layers and you purchase a topper like Amber, either request layers and face framing from Uniwigs, or take your topper to a trusted professional that can customize it for you. Toppers are much like clothing, it needs to flatter and compliment our heads and face shape. So do not be discouraged if it is not a perfect blend right out of the box…not many toppers are.

After having the topper layered and face framing adding, I wet the part and re-parted it. I think added waves to my hair and to the topper. I then placed the topper on my head, and I was almost in tears! That sounds dramatic, but for all of you ladies that have struggled with thinning hair, you can relate. It blended so perfectly! I can finally stop teasing my hair, and I can stop using fibers or colored sprays. Prior to ordering my Uniwigs topper, I would wear my hair down for special occasions only, and I would get so frustrated with trying to get it to look right. Now, I take maybe 10 minutes to curl or straighten my bio hair and curl or straighten the topper to match. I want to also say, the topper’s quality of hair is the best in the industry. As such, healthy hair holds a curl, wave or straightening much longer than processed and/or low quality hair. So I do not style my topper every day, because it holds the style for a very long time. The less times you apply heat and wash your topper, the longer it will last.

In closing, this topper has truly changed my life. I feel incredibly beautiful and feminine, and I did not have to break the bank. Uniwigs has toppers in several different materials…mono, silk, lace, and skin-like. Whereas most other companies offer only mono. Mono is great when you have lighter hair. But with darker hair, the knots can be quite visible. There are ways to camouflage it though. Each material has a particular purpose. But I recommend silk because it’s the most genuine looking of them all.

I ordered a topper that is completely damaged hair. Burmese hair with split ends but the top is smooth. Makes no sense! Cannot use it any longer. Company won’t return it because I put bangs in it, which I understand but the hair shouldn’t be damaged.

I am so thrilled with my custom order aura topper. The customer service department is so helpful in helping me get exactly what I wanted! I love the hair texture. I love the quality. It sits flat and looks so natural.

I want to trust them but the phone system is still under repair and it is August 2024. I found a review from May 2024 with the same complaint. So is this company legitimate or did they move to China?

I currently own two toppers from Uniwigs. I have the upgraded Aura and the Courtney. I am now placing an order for my third one. This time I am ordering the Aura again but in a different color. I have been exceptionally satisfied with the first two toppers. I have always had thin hair and I feel that as I am getting older my hair is thinning even more. I just love the confidence that these toppers give you. I enjoy being able to style my hair as I want and it truly does look so realistic. I can't wait to receive my next Aura in the light mouse brown color.

This topper fits nicely and blends in well with my natural hair. I am used to totally hand-knotted pieces but this one has track hair. I hope it is long lasting.

Purchased the top secret and was mistakenly sent the upgrade Courtney. Turned out loving it and support was great in refunding the difference. The hair is beautiful!

I started to loose my hair at a early age due to illness.

I had plenty bio hair on the sides but none on the top of my head & I didn't feel I was ready for a full wig, or even a hair topper, although I have purchased one from uniwigs but not worn yet.

I wanted something I didn't need to put on each day, that I could glue on to my balding spot and wear for a few days.

After trying a small skin patch which I was happy with, I decided to order a custom size, ordering was so easy, I didn't feel uncomfortable asking for what I felt I needed, I ordered a 4x4 patch and it fits my hair loss area perfectly.

Colour and length were a perfect match to my own hair so I didn't need to dye or cut the piece.

Uniwigs kept me updated and showed me the piece incase of changes, once I agreed it was fine it took about 8 weeks to arrive (free delivery to the UK) but I understand as it's hand made.

With the right glue and care, I can wear my piece for about 4 weeks before needing to remove, clean and reapply, which is just fantastic

The ends do go a little frizzy if not cared for correctly, I'd love if they offered real hair that lasted longer but I've not asked so maybe they do?

I can honestly say as a women in her 40s loosing my hair is devastating, but the custom piece brought my confidence back and I'm not longer worried about people getting close to me as the piece is undetectable it looks so real, no one has ever guessed I struggle with hair loss and that's what you want from a hair piece.

I loved it so much I'm about to order another.

I have purchased from uniwigs for around six months. Toppers are very individual pieces and when you are new to them, you have to learn what you need and what you like and don’t like.

There are different hair textures, size caps, lengths, and cap types, all for such an amazing price point, and often having sales.

Uniwigs customer service is the best, and are so helpful and want you to find the right piece. (Another high end brand charges a personal shopper fee, for no actual personal shopping).I’ve bought and returned a few toppers until I bought the perfect one for me.Each piece I’ve received has been amazing quality.

I have been using toppers to add volume to my hair for years and I have even purchased custom pieces now and then from special dealers. I purchased a Claire in 2020 from Uniwigs. Upon receipt I noticed the beautiful quality of the hair and how natural it looked when I wore it. Well 4 years later it still looks great and I wear it often.
